if you want them to do you a greeeeeeeeat favor of serving you,then go there.no matter how many times you go there,how many times you order to grill the same food,they never remember how you want it to be done and if you dont watch them,they will do it much quicker,even if you leave some tip for them,like 2-3$ for 2 minutes of grilling!!!!!the server like also doing you a favor-of course unhappy about something!the man,that unfortunately,is most of the time cashier,is kind of also very busy and rough,it was extra difficult for him to put to go food to the bag!not like its difficult for us,just used,that its automatically,that the waiter or waitress just put food to the bag!when we collected,what we wanted in buffet,half of what was cold,just put it near him,he rouugly said"TOU put it to the bag",even if before we saw him getting somebodyfood to the box by himself,I mean for the customer!!!!!perhaps,they have favorite customers,with whine they are nice.we were going to this buffet brfire!but the food sucks and the service definitely is veeeery ducky!sucky .

My family ( including grown children that bring their house members ) have been regular ( at least 2 times in 7 days for over a year now) customers. Per the earlier reviews by unknown people.... -----"Ask to pay bill and leave when it got busy" NEVER seen this - or ANY type of hint in our realm! -----"prices raised with out warning " Its amazing what some people expect . $11.99 when Crab legs, Lobster, Oysters etc are offered and so much more... McDs is down the street. Speaking for the over 35 different friends & family members I have enjoyed a meal with here... Food is always fresh and well prepared. Staff is good, friendly and for a place with very little employee turnover- 7 days a week is quite a shift ! My only personal regrets - I cant eat here as much as I would prefer- my "going out" time is limited some. But if I go out to eat 9 times out of 10 - Im here !

This place is one of my favorite local restaurants in the Sprinfield area. I highly recommend coming to Ichiban when theyre busy, so the food keeps on coming and its fresh (especially on Friday and Saturday nights) . My family has eaten here multiple times this year, and every experience has been delicious. I really LOVE the sushi and coconut shrimp!!! Some of the servers do have to do some improvements on theyre skills, specifically refilling drinks. Other than that, this place spot on compared to the prices of the previous restersaunt at this location. To those people who wrote bad comments about this place, if you dont like Chinese buffets, than go pay for a combo or something elsewhere. Dont expect the food to be fresh if busy is slow!

1st the board walking in stated 10$ a person and 4$ for my 4 year old son. We were charged 32.40 after tax for old lunch rush food. Staff was rude and wouldnt refill drinks but instead outside on his phone. Just for an odd sense instead of music they had maybe an 8 year old play a keyboard. Needless to say never going back. Absolutely terrible.to top it off i started puking and so did my wife. Now with food poisoning they told me to get a refund we would have to go to a hospital and get a doctors note for them to get a refund. Now the 3rd time im editing this post about this place now my son has major diarrhea. Unbelievable

Have been here twice in the last month or so first time was great! Second time not so great, my boyfriend and i had a nice meal until i ate the pudding and found METAL in the pudding, i pulled it out of my mouth and talked with the manager, he told us it was from the can the puddings comes out of, over and over again we herd how it was from the can and how it happens. Then a few hours later we werent feeling so hot, so we laid down and i started throwing up everywhere. Yes we also have FOOD POISONING. What a great place they give you more than you pay for! NEVER GOING BACK!

Went there this weekend against my better judgement as soon as I got there I said my 2 yr old is not going to be eating and immediately the lady at front started saying something to the waiter in their language! I was asked if she was going to drink something I said not really bc I know my daughter and they immediately look at me all weird I left and did not eat there I tried a piece of meat and it tasted all chewy I will not go there anymore service is terrible and the staff is rude and prejudiced! Plus it smells disgusting

Considering the other options of Chinese Buffets in the area, this is one to avoid. Poor choice of food and little imagination. All the "crab" dishes were fake crab. The steamed dumplings, a favourite of mine, were a cardboard texture. Some of the soups had crusty circles inside the serving pots. Accommodation was fairly clean but if you want a good client base, keep up with your food and use some imagination other than the poor choice you currently have.

Small female child wiping buffet area down with rag that she dropped on the floor. A grown man working there saw her drop it, but did not tell her to get a new one. I told her that I had seen her drop the rag and she shouldnt be using it. She put it in a bucket, then went and talked to the man that had initially seen her drop it. I dont know what they were saying, but they looked at me and laughed. I was sick after I left this place - watch out!

Its hard to imagine someone believing this is the "best Chinese buffet in Springfield". Wow. Its far from it. The dishes were either extremely salty or completely tasteless. And nothing was hot (as in temperature), mostly just lukewarm. My suggestion would be to go a few blocks south on Glenstone and eat at the Chinese buffet just south of Battlefield. The quality of the food is MUCH better. From now on, I dub this place "Icky-Ban". Ugh!

Great place to eat priced around 12 bucks each for adults wider selection than your average spfld buffet. Crabs legs are featured as well as mongolian barbecue. However the crab legs may become fairly elusive during dinner. Place has been around as long as i can remember. When i was a kid i will never forget a table leaving without paying and a man from the back chasing them down wielding an actual meat cleaver! Priceless!

Just went there today. Apparently prices went up to $11.99 per buffet on certain days. Wasnt aware due to them not putting it on their ad like they always do. They said its been that way for three months and we got an ad not even two weeks ago with their old prices. Definitely not worth $11.99 per buffet. Fatty chicken, beyond greasy food, bland and horribly sticky sushi. Never going back after this visit.

It was cool. The place looked nice, but the food was sloppily presented, specifically the dinner rolls. The cook who makes custom orders was rude and rushed me, in fact he actually dropped a piece of the bell on my plate, and gave it to me to eat. If your debating between this Chinese buffet, and the Royal buffet on Kearney and glenstone, Id recommend that one over this. Overall, pretty poor showing.
