Very tasty drunken noodles, and my 1st glass of Thai iced tea and there will be more Im my future. My dish was a bit hotter than I expected, but with the Thai tea, very tolerable and very yummy. New waitress from another country didnt quite understand my special needs when it comes to red peppers, when cooked, they turn putrid to my senses, but raw or very slightly sauteed, they are delightful. So Im grateful that she went to her co-worker who came to my table for clarification, and thanks to the cook who was willing to execute the task. I hate it when a server is faking their comprehension of English and wastes my time and the food has to be remade. I appreciate her willingness to ask for help, which in turn gave me the most excellent service. Id much rather repeat what my special needs are than get food I dont want. Theres risk of losing a job for most people who ask for help with their job these days, and I think that is no way for decent people to treat employees. This is an example of the courtesy and care that is sorely needed in our country these days, and it is cherished by people like myself, it gives me a glimpse of hope in these dark days of the orange menace in the oval, who is removing good manners and the rights and protections of our people in the USA. Yes, this experience is that big to me, A server almost never knows when theyve made an impression on a customer, sometimes its the smallest gesture that makes a difference.

We wanted to give this place a try and really wanted to like it., but sadly, cannot comment on anything about their food. The service is beyond pathetic. I dont care how good the food MAY be, its cant be that good to overcome this crappy of service. Should be the "Thai Barren Table." They weret even that busy, and we waited 20 minutes to see our waitress, and that is with the host intervention. We placed our order for 2 wine, water and 2 dinners. 20 more minutes and NOT EVEN water was brought to our table! Meanwhile our waitress was seen standing & watching other tables, but we couldnt even get water brought to ours. We watched her assist others, and stand by her prep station, but us and other tables being completely neglected. A table close by us, were eating, said they had to wait forever for their food. And the same people waiting for takeout when we got there were also waiting. Yikes, they appear to be doing nothing right. We told the host our displeasure with their lack of service, while on the way out. He asked for an opportunity to make it right, but we were already too mad and thirsty to let them try. They already had 40 minutes and not even that busy. We went to "Nongs", instead. Had water within a minute and wine within 3 and dinner within 10.

WARNING!!!! HEALTH HAZARD!!! Worst food establishment ever. Owned and managed by a disturbed old drunken man, this place should be renamed garbage hole in a wall. His stench of alcohol and urine did not help. I do not eat fast food but I would eat Mcdonalds over this. The food was horrible and customer service was worse. This old man will tell everyone they are wrong and that him and his cooks know it all. Well they are too poor to remake poorly made dishes. Must be rough to be a small business like them who cant afford to remake some soup or rice, what a joke. Im sure the owner will never learn anything from these reviews, but I KNOW that decent people will know to stay away from here. I love all Asian/Thai/Japanese/Chinese/ cuisines but this was the absolute worst place ever. If you love restaurants with plastic wrap covering the tables, this is your fine establishment! Ill be back soon to have a conversation with the owner/manager. Until then, I will rest easy knowing that you are running your horrible business into the ground :) I know you wont forget :) Cheers!

Ive been going to lunch here off and on for the last year or so and I really think the buffet has gone downhill. The last couple of times were the pits. Its probably the smallest buffet in town but it that would be acceptable if the food items were of better quality. If you order off the menu it will cost the same and you will get fresher food and some meat in your Pad Thai, but its still not above average. The wait-staff is friendly and the service is generally good but there is this older guy that runs the register that doesnt know how to treat customers. When I complained about the buffet he grilled us about it and then told us we should come later when the food hasnt been sitting around so long. No apologies, promises or discounts, just solid indifference. That cant be good for business. Since they show no interest in accepting constructive criticism or convincing me to come back again, I assume they dont really want my business.

My wife and I stumbled on this gem the other night and were very pleasantly surprised. Weve been to every Thai place in Minneapolis and St. paul and Thai Table is among the best. Our regular stops are Chiang Mai, True Thai, Tum Rup and King and I but Well be going back to Thai Table to dig deeper into their delicious menu. I had the sweet green curry and my wife had the massaman. Both were cooked to perfection. Right spice, perfect portions, fresh vegetables and a great base of lemon grass, kafir, galangal and coconut milk. Service was amazing, ambiance and decor were spot on and we even had a visit to the table from the owner. Additionally they were sensitive to our gluten-free allergies and made sure our meals were free and clear. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu and bringing our kids back, Highly recommended.

Tom Yum soup with shrimp...yumm-o! I had the #36 "Pad Puk" and the vegetables were perfectly cooked (just a little crunch). My husband had the #39 "Hot & Spicy" and was not dissapointed at his request for "VERY spicy"...they brought tears to his eyes (quite a feat for a man who goes through a gallon of Tabasco every year and buys red pepper flakes and cayenne in bulk). Decor was subtle and, pardon the cliche, "classy"...very nice. They appeared to be very busy for a Monday night and I only saw a single server, yet, she remained attentive and our water glasses were always full. Prices were very reasonable for dinner (entrees ~$7-10). Thai Table has been on my list to check out for a while now...why did I wait so long ?! Cant wait to check them out for lunch too!

I ordered a carry-out order on Valentines day, and was told the wait would be 30-35 minutes. Four of us at the restaurant ended up waiting AN HOUR AND 20 MINUTES for our food. This meant that from the time of calling to receiving our food was an hour and 50 minutes. Upon complaining after the food was an hour late, we were told by the manager "Im sorry.. but.. most customers are understanding on a night like tonight." Disrespectful. When the food finally came, we asked if it was possible to be compensated. The best he could do was comp an appetizer, unbelievable. We told him he had lost us as future customers and he did not seem to care. Food was fine. Worst service of my life earns a 1 star.
