Very friendly and enthusiastic staff. The food tasted great, and the ingredients were obviously fresh. It takes a little longer than some places to get your food, but thats only because they also cook everything fresh. No ladle full of something that they cooked three days ago like some folks do these days. The only thing I wasnt wild about was the peanut sauce for the chicken satay. It had a sort of flowery taste that reminded me of lilacs. If youre into that sort of thing, youll love it! Just wasnt for me. Overall Id say this place is a great addition to the neighborhood, and I have no doubt theyll be sticking around a lot longer than the previous owner of that space (cocoa loco).

I had a seafood curry and it was way too overpriced, portion was not even enough for one meal, taste was nothing like I have enjoyed in other thai restaurants. My take out order was ready in a minute like it was already cooked and they just packed it, lacked the spice level I requested for. They use imitation crabs and it was just mentioned as crab in their menu, upon inquiring they confirmed it is imitation. They filled my dish with big chunks of imitation crabs and only a few pieces of shrimps, scallops. I will never go back to this place again, thai restaurants near University Ave, St Paul are much better in taste, their portions are good for two meals and comes for only half the price.

I live nearby & during the snow storm this past weekend.. I decided to check this place out. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING !! I ordered the sesame chicken with fried rice instead of white rice. The fried rice comes "plain" meaning no veggies or meat unless you add the upcharge, but it was still so fresh & tasty! I could tell they use great quality chicken and dont smother the meat with loads of breading. We also got the shrimp egg rolls as an appetizer. Those were so good !! Took a little bit longer for food, but knowing the food is coming out FRESH, makes the wait well worth it. Loved the welcoming & friendly staff, & So happy they are only 2 minutes away :)

Overall great experience! Environment: Pattaya was clean and has had some modern updates. Service: The service was amazing. I did not have to wait long to be seated. The waitstaff was polite, accommodating, and checked in with me several times. My water was refilled by another staff member before I felt the need to ask. At the counter, I was able to pay quickly. Food: Well balanced, well portioned, and well priced. They also start off the meal with shrimp chips as an appetizer. Other: They sell extra shrimp chips for $2.00. They are also running a monthly give-away.

We got takeout from here the first week they opened, and liked it so much that we got it again the next night! When we went to pick up the food the staff was extremely courteous and even offered us a beverage while we waited for the food to be done. (But we didnt have to wait long.) We got the Pad Cashew (excellent), the Peanut Curry (also very good) and the Pad See-Ew. The Pad See-Ew was so great we got it 2 nights in a row. It was my favorite, and might even be my favorite Thai dish in town now! I would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. We will definitely be going here regularly.

Great family-run neighborhood restaurant. Quiet and perfect for a meeting or date. We showed up on a wednesday evening without a reservation and were seated immediately. Generous portions at fair price. We ordered tofu pad thai, tom ka coconut soup, and spring rolls. All delicious and we couldnt quite finish it all. Attentive but not annoying waitstaff. No liquor license (yet). Check the hours -- we tried to visit last sunday for lunch but they dont open until 3:00. We will be coming back to explore the menu!

This is a new local Thai place. They took over an old space and have made a few changes to provide a more appropriate ambiance but we still prefer to get our food to go and enjoy it at home. We have ordered from here a number of times now and been very happy each time. The portions are big so there is plenty to share. Our personal favorites so far has been the Pattaya chicken. We have also found the spice chart to be true to the listing, not the watered down Minnesota style, so order appropriately.

Pattaya is a hidden gem in a great location to come and eat in, or get food for take out! I havent found a menu that Ive wanted to eat my way through until now at Pattaya! The people who own this place are wonderful, courteous, and always so genuine and nice. You will want to come back and taste every succulent morsel they have to offer! Personally my favorite is the Drunken Noodle dish with added scallops and peapods. I love this place and am going back today for more:)

Very good! Ive eaten there twice -- once for dinner and once for lunch. Had Pad Thai and Peanut Curry for dinner -- both very tasty and portions are big. Were both relatively big eaters and still made a very very ample second meal out of the leftovers. Lunch portions are a little smaller and priced a bit lower. But lunches also include soup and a spring roll. At lunch, Pad Prig and Potato Curry were both very good.

Loved the food!! Pad Thai was especially delicious with excellent flavor, good portions, fresh ingredients, love that you can choose the degree of "hot", service was friendly checking on us frequently refilling our drinks, even though we live in Anoka Im sure we will be visiting again because I am already craving the Pad Thai!! This was the first time we ate here and it was a great experience. We were limited on time and told the waitress. They were efficient...very fresh made to order and it was excellent food. We had the Pad Pak with chicken and Thai egg rolls. The price was very fair, portions were plenty to share and the food tasted wonderful. We will go back.

Food was lit , I absolutely love the peanut curry sauce my roommates and I have made it a point to try something different every time we go and have loved everything so far. dining in for lunch is the best and I recommend it really nice experience and fast service u get a soup and app with every lunch entree . Highly recommend

Ate here for the first time and was very impressed with the pad thai curry. Unique blend with a light curry sauce that was very pleasant. My fiance ordered the green curry Thai hot and it was definitely Thai hot. Order your spice level knowing it is pretty true to Thai standards. Excellent food and service.

Fantastic! Ordered take out one night and was very pleasantly surprised! Tom yum soup was very flavorful, the shrimp spring rolls were extremely fresh, and the spicy chicken was tender and flavorful. Definitely my new go to when we want something easy and delicious! Welcome to the neighborhood.

We just tried this place out and we really loved it. The spicy chicken, pad Thai, and crab cheese appetizer were all outstanding. Well be back to try more menu items in the future. The portions are generous and the atmosphere is well appointed and less noisy than most restaurants.
