I hope this place can survive in its tucked away location. The wonton noodle soup was outstanding! The broth had a great flavor, even a touch of heat. The wontons were amongst the best Ive ever had, if not the best. The add-ins that came with the soup, (cilantro, onion, lettuce, lime, sprouts, etc.) were fresh. With Asian soups, I find that its the little things that set them apart. In addition to the soup, I ordered the egg rolls. Wow! These are not your standard, frozen Chinese restaurant egg rolls. The best egg rolls that Ive had in a long time. My only warning: I ate in the restaurant, but this place is probably designed for take out. Dont get me wrong, the service was great, but I ate here in the summer and the air conditioning was either broken or not on. It had to be over 80 degrees in there. Obviously, dining in would become more of an option depending on the weather.

I read a few of the google review and decided to stop in for lunch on a Saturday around 12:30. My wife, kids and I each ordered something different and we were all amazed at the quality of each dish. One of my sons ordered the traditional Pho and loved it. I thought it could of used some more vegetable to brighten it up (I think Saigon in St. Paul has some of the best Pho in town). My wife had pork lo mein and it was very good. I had the grilled pork banh mi and since my visit last Saturday have been back twice to get more banh mis for dinner and lunch. Fantastic. But surprisingly the best dish of the four was my other sons chicken pad thai. It was very flavorful and prepared perfectly. Gion was, for us, a winner all the way around.

Theyre literally a bunch of Asian crooks. They messed up on my order so bad, I was on the phone with them and trying to tell them they messed up on my order. I get this dish ALL the time and they were literally trying to convince me that the dish is a "custom dish" and its not on the menu, like seriously!? I went back to get it "fix" and they didnt bother to make me a new one or not even charge me or get a free one next time for the inconvenience they just threw back in and recooked it. They also said that the dish was costly... $10.00... seriously its ten dollars and its Noodles, Noddles are cheap not costly... Will it actually put you out of business or bankruptcy if you make me another one? I dont recommend this restaurant at all.

I was looking for good Vietnamese food on West/NorthWest side of town. Mission accomplished. This place is great. Friendly servers and awesome food. I had the Vermicelli salad and Eggrolls. The ingredients on the salad was fresh and and clean. The noodles were perfect, separated and not too soft. The beef on the salad was well marinated and had the right mix of sweet and savory and was cooked to a perfect combination of tender and a little crunch. The eggrolls were fresh and not overwrapped with a great filler of pork and noodles. I am definitely going back here. After all with an introduction like this, I know need to test the rest of the menu.

At first I was kind of put off by the decor and vibe of the restaurant since it wasnt very inviting and kind of reminding me of a warehouse with painted wall. The place could be updated to be a little more inviting. The food tells a different story. I ordered two of the banh mis and an order of the cream cheese wontons. The wontons are some of the best Ive had. The only flaw is that they are kind of light on the cream cheese. The bahn mi was great. The vegetables were very flavorful and fresh tasting. The grilled pork had amazing flavor and the seasoning was awesome. Overall I would be back for the sandwich alone.

Great spot for a bowl of "fo" soup and other items with chicken and rice!! Would have given 5 stars but we had a bit of an issue finding the john in time, and my large sons had to just go tinkle outside the building. Thankfully nobody saw us except the gas station attendant and he seemed pretty cool and was actually laughing. Im just glad the sons didnt try to "hold it" because theres a good chance they would have made a mess of my van on the way home (I failed to lay down protective quilts that day). All in all a great spot, just clean up the issue with the john location and this place is 5 stars hands down! Thanks

I go here regularly, and its definitely one of my favorite places to eat. I remember the first time I went here, I was pleasantly surprised. Its pretty easy to miss as its between two other stores, and the indoor decor is sparse and simple, but not shabby. The spring rolls are the freshest and best Ive ever had, and the chef special pho is delicious and large for the pricing. Egg rolls are really good too, as is the wonton noodle soup. They have other dishes as well which are really good. Overall its a really good meal for a reasonable price. I highly recommend checking this place out.

I must admit I was shocked by the low prices and HUGE portions. I ordered the spring rolls, they were well made and fresh, definitely one of the best I ever had. I ordered Pho soup and was amazed when I saw a GIANT bowl in front of me! They dont mess around :). Pho was absolutely delicious. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who has a craving for a Vietnamese food. The prices are very reasonable and the portions were large. The place is very small, but it has its charm. I will go back again.

They just opened a larger restaurant around the corner from their old, cramped location (in the same complex) but the food is the same great quality. I have tried many of their offerings but the yellow curry is a standout favorite ( I order it medium spicy ). I also like the Thai Basil dish and the spring rolls are fresh and perfect. You cant go wrong here.

Went for lunch. I had classic Pho, and my partner had Pad Thai. I thought both of these dishes were OK, but unremarkable. Decor is minimal, but thats common for a Vietnamese place. Service was adequate. There are better places in the city for this type of fare, but then, there are few Vietnamese restaurants in this particular area.

Like someone else pointed out, I sure hope this place makes it, the location is not very visible. The food is phenomenal. Very fresh ingredients, and unlike some other Viet restaurants in the Twin Cities, they dont use any MSG. Excellent take out. Portions seem larger for dine-in, but its hard to tell. I love this Place!

I waited an hour for my food and they never brought it!! I was with a party of 3....they brought my one friends food and when my other friend and I kept asking for our food, they would say "its coming...its coming!" It never came! Multiple people came in after us and got their food. What a disgrace!
