We have been here many times and sadly our experience keeps declining. They are never very busy even on Friday or Saturday nights. The highlight of the meal was the calamari, well seasoned tender, batter was light a bit too much lemon in the aoli. I ordered the scallops which were served on something called bacon cakes....the bacon cakes were twice the size of the scallops, and basically inedible. The scallops, which I know should never be over cooked were translucent and still cold in the center so I sent them back. The server returned with my entree literally 10 minutes later, still undercooked. On top of the scallops was something called tomato jam, basically ketchup with sugar. Hoping the risotto with sweet peas and asparagus would save my dinner, again a fail. Risotto should be al dente, not crunchy. My husband had the Sirloin, which was cooked as ordered, well seasoned and flavorful, but again paired with under cooked risotto. We wont be returning, a disappointing dinner $90 later.

I thought the service was better than the food. It could be a bias because of my current new food palate. I feel that the food there was overly salted, especially the risotto. Lets start with the spinach artichoke dip and calamari. The calamari was cooked just right. I may be biased because I have tried so many but the dip was missing something. Spinach and artichoke dip was missing something too. I felt like it needed just a little more cream but it was not my favorite. The kids menu chicken fingers had the same batter as the calamari so I couldnt tell the difference. The seven spice prawn was not that great either. The salt of the risotto was overpowering the prawns. Wild mushroom soup was not that great, the constituency was good. Lobster linguini was not that great. Then the only thing I thought was well done was the salmon. I have been waiting to try this place and have heard many great things about it. Its not the restaurant for me.

Went for the first time tonight, and we will not be going back. We sat at the bar after waiting in line at the host desk, but we never even saw the host. Once we grabbed 2 seats at the bar, the bartender didnt even say hello. Eventually we just ordered 2 drinks waited way too long, again, however at least the bartender apologized for how long it took. For dinner, i ordered the Top Sirloin for $28... i couldnt even eat it. I wasnt that it was totally burnt, the inside color was done medium which is what i wanted, however for some reason the entire steak tasted charred. I gave 2 pieces to my husband and he wouldnt eat both pieces. I should have returned it, but i didnt want another steak. It tasted as though it was cooked on grill that hasnt been cleaned in years. Very disappointing for a steak that expensive. My husband ordered the Lobster Spaghetti, he said it was decent, but again no way worth $28. Never going back.

Not impressed!!!! I was very excited to revisit tria after having a lot of great experiences there in the past. Granted it has been about 10yrs... service was poor. When I asked to put in an order for beverages the waiter asked if I could wait till after the food was served... then there was three plates of food missing from our group! We were done eating our meals when they finally arrived. It took another 20 minutes to get my drink order in. Unacceptable!!!!!!!! The final straw was the dessert order being messed up. The waiter then said he could package it to go! Hmmm... am I being rushed out?!?! I will never set foot in that place again! Rude! Spend your money elsewhere! Where people know about the service industry! I give Tria a BIG FAT F!!!!!! As in FAILURE!!

Friends of our had been several times before and recommended eating at Trias for my birthday. The four of us were all impressed with the casual formal feel and atmosphere. The waiting staff were warm and attentive. I asked about the lamb T-bone meal which the waitress informed me, sometimes has too much gristle but is fabulous much of the time. She assured me that if I didnt enjoy it they would cook more until it was great. That gave me the confidence to order it. The lamb T-bone came with 3 T-bone steaks and were awesome. The presentation on the plate looked beautiful! The others also loved their food too. We shared 3 desserts all were excellent. We ate and talked for 3 hours, excellent experience!

My party of 5 came to Tria for a very late lunch after visiting the Ford Museum. I found it by searching "farm to table" in Google maps. Its actually inside a hotel. The server was very attentive and friendly. The food was awesome. The pop-overs are insanely good. The pita and tapanade/hummus/red pepper appetizer spread was delicious. The whitefish was crazy, melt-in-your mouth amazing. The pepperd steak wasnt particularly good and I dont recommend it. The hamburger was very good. No surprises with club sandwich. Their mashed potatoes were very delicious. And thats all we got - Id definitely go back!

The food was good. However, it took a long time to get our food and had to make multiple requests things like to go boxes. But the worst part of the evening was what happened to my grandmothers food. We took my grandmother there for her 100th birthday. It was the whole point of our visit. They brought out the wrong food item for her and it took over thirty minutes to get the correct food item. We were done eating by the time her food arrived. They apologized and removed her food from the bill but the experience was bad enough we most likely be taking her to another restrauant next year.

Food was good. Mussels generous and easy to share among four. Not quite as tasty as Acquas (White Bear and aForest Lake) preparation . Prime rib was well prepared and flavorful. The bread arrived warm and was readily resupplied. The service was attentive but spotty. After taking our order, the menus were left on the table. We stopped a bus person and handed them off. The mussels plate was left for us to soak bread in but then left and left, even after the entrees arrived. We finally put it on the tray used to deliver our entrees which had been left to add decor to the room.

this restaurant is in some retirement home community, and i think that the old people that live there must have lost their ability to taste food. the dining room looks nice, the patio is awesome, the waitstaff is annoyingly friendly, the menu sounds amazing, and the food looks great on the plate. but nothing tastes good. we ordered bruschetta, wild rice soup, french onion soup, fries, asparagus, risotto, and beef tournedos, and it was all bland and totally lame. go here if you like to pretend that youre eating good food.

Great place after work on Friday! I took a co-worker to grab some wine after work (happy hour 4-6:30 on Friday), wine was delicious and at a great value for happy hour prices ($3). I recommend the bar flat breads or prime dip sandwich if youre going to be doing some food too. Service was on par, food within 10min and the drinks on the table right away. Price for entrees is a bit high but i suppose thats expected for the type of atmosphere and service you get, definitely a place for a nice evening out price wise.
