"Do you WANT more water?" Hands down the worst service I have ever experienced. I will never return to this restaurant after my experience this evening. It took 20 minutes from ordering a beer to receiving it while the restaurant was maybe at 15% capacity. There is no excuse for the pace and service I received. My cup was empty for over 10 minutes before I was asked if I wanted more water which then took another 10 minutes before I had a second cup of water. Additionally, it took an hour from the time of ordering my burger for it to arrive at my table. I am astounded this place is still in business. Perhaps the 3 shots I witnessed the bartenders take during my hour and a half dinner should have put some hustle in the service? Yes, these 3 shots happened before 830p on a Thursday. Whoever owns this business should be absolutely embarrassed.

If I could score zero stars I would. Stopped in today for lunch at around 1:00PM, got seated right away, then waited 15 minutes but now one ever came. We found the host and asked if the server knew we were there and when he finished cleaning a table no one was waiting for he talked to the server. The host came back and said the server is busy with another table and offered to take our drink order. We asked if he could take our full order as we were there for lunch so we had a time restriction and he refused so we left after wasting more than 20 minutes of our time there. Went to Great Waters down the road instead and got great service and great food. Well NEVER come here again.

It was my first time here and Ive been waiting for a good burger joint. Came in for lunch with a coworker, who recommended this place, and was seated right away. The service was quick and server was nice. We both ordered the Wonder Woman burger and, yum! If you like a little spice to your burger, I highly recommend this burger. We both devoured it! The burgers werent greasy at all and was perfectly moist. I had it medium well. Plus the portion was very reasonable. The fries were also perfectly crisp. Ill go back again!

Food was good, worth eating again. The service was deplorable. I had to ask for waters repeatedly and to be filled repeatedly. Waitress took my fork, brought my food recognized I needed a fork said shed bring me one. Walked past smiling for several minutes. Finally I had to track her down and demand a fork. She was rude and our dining experience was totally unfortunate due to rude behavior and deliberate forgetfulness. Who acts like this anymore? My son learned a great lesson and we wont be back no matter the food.

This was one of the few restaurants within safe walking distance to the Crowne and LOVED it. We checked it out first just for a brew in the afternoon and returned for our evening dinner. My turkey burger was huge and quite delicious. The deep fried cheesecake was fabulous. The atmosphere and service were wonderful during both visits. We will return anytime were in the area. Thanks for helping us enjoy our 38th wedding anniversary.

The waiter forgot about me. Two single guys came after I did. Seated right next to me and he was all over them. They got waited on before I did and there food came long before mine did. Worst was the waiter made excuses why my food hadnt came. Very lame excuses. Other patrons noticed. When the food came the bottom bun was so soggy it was like had been placed in a bowl of water. It was a wasted hour and half that I will never get back.

The place wasnt crowded on the Wednesday night we were there, but the service was a little slow (but the waitperson was nice when they were there. ). Decent-sized food portions, a bit stingy on their wine pour. My partner enjoyed the Wonder Woman burger as it was decently spicy. The chicken in their cobb salad was a standout. Overall the experience was nice, but a wee bit overpriced for what it is.

This place used to be outstanding before the fire they had.......then after the renovation, the prices went up.I live downtown st paul so its certainly convenient for me. I ordered their american burgerbwhich was very good, but the weird salad w/ weird lettuce wasnt very good. When i got my bill it was $18 bucks!!!!! And I only ate lunch!!!! I wont do that again, and I wont return.

Really bad service at this place . No one bothered seat us . The waitress was so much in a hurry . She wanted to get the check even before I had my first bite and I she did and I had to stop eating and sign it before she would just leave us in peace to eat . And the food was not any great . Just a regular burger . In all an awful experience . I will never go back again .

Burgers are ok, size wise they are filling.. cooked the way you ask. However, I have a theory... I think they keep all their spices.. garlic... salt and pepper etc out of the kitchen so it doesnt contaminate the meat. The toppings are good to great, buns/bread is good to great, the beef itself is flavorless. Its a shame really Ive given these guys 3 tries..

Good selection of burgers to choose from, all priced around 12-18 bucks depending how fancy you want to get. A little more pricey than I usually like, but a fine place for a celebration or special occasion. Went in the afternoon, food arrived pretty quick after ordering. All in all a good spot, but nothing so special that its a "must stop" place.

Husband and I are visiting from Milwaukee and stumbled across this place while looking for food and drink after midnight. This was probably the only place open and serving food. Husband had the Reno 911 burger and I had the sliders. We both shared onion rings. Everything was delicious. They also have a great beer selection.

Had great burgers today. They were cooked exactly as ordered and left us wanting to return soon. My son did not utter one word until his burger was gone. LOVE the skinny fries too. Great service. Our waitress Pearl was excellent and made me a nice salad using spring mix instead on the usual iceberg found at other places.

Thee worse burger I have ever had. Way overcooked and dried out. Asked for grilled onions on my burger, they came on my daughters burger. Was told by another site that this restaurant was comparable to Burger Jones - NO WAY near as good as Burger Jones. Also way overpriced for the quality of food you get.

Amazing Sweet Potato Fries! Im a SPF fanatic and whenever I travel away from Washington State I go out in search of them. Loved them! Loved the fact (even though I dont drink) there were brews from home! Nice variety displayed. Staff was super friendly and it made it easier to be away from home.

American Burger Bar is open late for food; kitchen closes 12:30 am. We were greeted in a welcoming manner, and served right away. Nothing special about the food, but it was delivered rapidly and exactly as ordered. It is centrally located and less than two blocks from a Green Line stop.

I like the food here but the service leaves something to be desired. Our server was decent after she made it over to our table but it took about 15 minutes :-( Suggestion: If the table is waiting on a third person, check in with the first two guests to see if they want to order right away.
