If I could rate this place, I would give it a negative star. Its not even worth a 1 star. This is our first and last experience dining at this restaurant! From the reviews that Im just reading now, I feel the need to share my experience too because we all seemed to have gotten the worst waiter/service ever! We happened to get the worst waiter in History. He acted like he didnt know what we were talking about when we asked about a deal that we saw on television. He said "What deal, we dont have no deals." Then he said that the deal ended the day before...Ummm, ok? He couldve said that from the start, but I honestly feel like he was completely clueless. He made it seem like it was his first day, but we know it wasnt. The weird thing about him was that in the middle of talking to us when we first got there, he slowly developed an Australian accent. Im not sure if he was pretending or putting on an act or if he really is Australian. It didnt sound like a real accent anyway. He kept pronouncing the food choices back to us in an Australian accent. It was really awkward. On top of that, he was super pushy. I honestly felt like he was treating us like we couldnt afford to eat there. I suspect that he may have been racist or something by the things that he was saying or asking us. He kept trying to make us order some tuna probably because were Asian. I say that because he asked if we liked sushi. I thought it was rude the way he suggested it. It got to the point where I just ordered it because he kept demanding it. When the fish got there, it looked so dry and spoiled. It looked like the fish had been sitting for a few days. I was kinda scared to eat it. Raw tuna is supposed to have a wet look when its freshly cut and also taste buttery. The sauce was okay but the texture of the fish tasted quite old. Not sure if thats how the fish was supposed to taste... While ordering, he asked us really stupid questions. For example, he asked us what we wanted to drink and I said water for us all. Then he asked if I wanted my daughter to have some juice instead and I said no. Then he asked if I was sure because it was complimentary. Why didnt he just say that from the start instead of trying to make us feel stupid. Again, his tone made it seem like we were some cheapasses that couldnt afford to eat there! After he came back to take our orders, he asked at the end if we wanted to get some bread with our order. We kindly declined. Then again, he said the bread was complimentary. I thought that if something was complimentary, they just bring the food to us without asking???? It was weird because I watched new people come in and get served next to us and the bread was just brought to them ahead of time, no questions asked. He kept making us feel cheap the whole time we were there. To top of off, his customer service was so bad that my spouse and I got into a huge argument over how rude he was. My spouse wanted to say something back to the waiter because of the way he was talking to us and the way his tone sounded. I didnt want him to start any arguments even though we had such a bad experience already. It was a negative experience all around. When we got our food, my ribeye steak was not cooked to my liking. I asked for medium rare with the center to be red. They cooked my steak well done!!!! There was hardly any pink & the meat was lean and actually kind of dry when chewing it. I wanted to tell him to replace it but we had such a poor experience already that I forced myself to eat it. Very disappointed in myself that I didnt ask to get a new one. To end this, dont ever go to Outback Steakhouse. Make ur own at home or go to another restaurant. Even Dennys or Perkins has better service than here for a steak! Read and learn from these reviews. The Maplewood Outback Steakhouse is exactly as it seems. And by the way, they hung up on us three times when we called before coming in. Worst experience ever. You would have to go through it in order to understand what I really mean.

This location is bias. I dont even want to give it a star, but it wont let me post if I dont give them anything. I heard family member talking about how unfair their service is toward Asians, but I thought it was all talk. We call in advance 2 hours to make a reservation for a group of 10 people to make sure there will be seating available. We gave them the time we will be arriving and when we arrived the front door server told us they gave our seats away and it will be another 15 minutes. We were shock. We decided to wait 15 minutes, after 15 minutes has gone past another server approached our large group and told us we will have to wait another 30 minutes because there is another large group that is supposed to be showing up around the time we are to be seated. We were getting irritated. We ask why wasnt this mention when we made the reservation. The server said its first come first serve for large group. The large group they were waiting for wasnt even there yet, but we were and they say first large group first serve. We decided to just go to Red Lobster which has way better services and server. We were glad Outback Steak House decided to be bias and basically kicked us out because we will never go to that location again.

Went here tonight with my wife and 4 of my friends and we were absolutely disappointed with the service and food. We were seated for 10 minutes until any service was given to us. Water was not refilled until asked. The flowered onion appetizer was sub-par. We did not receive any utensils until approximately 30 minutes afterwards the appetizer was given. Two of my friends who received their salads literally had to eat their salad with their hands since every waiter ignored our table. The time it took our entrees to come out was an whooping 1 hour and 10 minutes and they all were very sub-par. We were all starving by then so anything wouldve been good to eat. The steak was undercooked, the chicken was plain and the portions are too small for the overpriced costs. We were thinking about grabbing something from taco bell afterwards since the food here barely satisfied us. They also forgot about one of my friends ordered milkshake entirely. Best thing about this place is the free bread they give out. I say, come here for the free bread and leave.

We used to go to this restaurant pretty often, but we havent very often gotten good service. I realize its our own fault for still giving it another chance, like tonight........ after two requests for a glass of ice for my wine, I finally got up, walked all the way to the bar (we were seated next to the bathrooms way in the back) and got it myself. I had forgotten to ask for no butter on my carrots, but, as with the ice, I couldnt locate our waitress. Finally the host seated someone close to us so I asked him to get our waitress. She did run back to the kitchen to tell them not to put butter on it, but by that time, it was too late. Both our meals were soaking in butter. The waitress said "He did the best he could." ....in other words, he did nothing. Im not mentioning any names because every time weve had a bad experience, its been with a different wait staff. One time our waitress admitted she totally FORGOT we were even there!! wow. I wonder when well learn.
