I read all the great reviews about this place and decided to check it out. Upon arrival I was greeted by a friendly waitress and was seated promptly. When I checked the menu for the gyros, I was kind of surprised by the price. But I figured that they must charge a little more because it was a better quality gyro and that they have bigger portions. Boy was I shocked when they brought out the "dinner" platter. There was only enough gyro meat for a regular sized gyro. Every other place I go to, the gyro meat would be overflowing. The meat was just average at best and it is kind of sad that the thing I remembered was the fresh pita bread and the pretty good fries. Skip this place and head straight for Nicks gyros on Touhy and Harlem.

I placed an order from here for delivery. The order got there on time the problem was that i did not receive everything i paid for. So i called and the manager told me, I am sorry i will take it right now. 30 min later no call so i called and he told me i gave it to the guy sitting in front of the house. Apparently they see it ok to give it to anyone they see infront of the house. Somebody else got what i paid for and the MANAGER was ok with the fact that i told him i did not receive it. His response was i left it with the guy sitting infront of the house. Good food horrible customer service.

I used to come here with my uncle who grew up only blocks away. I am from St Louis and recently brought my wife while on a trip. The food is still excellent and the service was fantastic granted they had just opened on a Sunday before any kind of rush. We did however end up paying after tip $40 for just the two of us. One saganaki, one gyro, and one combo plate with a water and iced tea. More pricy than I remember but delicious. Plus my wife loved it!

Gyros lack flavor, felt like no seasoning at all. I had to pick up one from Mickeys in Oak Park on my way back to home, much better gyro. I dont write reviews often but this one needs it. This is definitely not the best gyro in Chicago, not even close and I wont come back sorry. Still giving 2 stars for the effort they made for good service.

Food is great but service has gone down the drain. Prices have gone up and the amount of food you get has gone down. Now they weigh the amount of meat that goes on a gyro sandwich. What kind of Greek restaurant does this? A penny pinching one! Ill be looking for a new Greek restaurant, one that doesnt with my food before Im served.

Have been coming here for years. The food is great and inexpensive. The service is always top rate. The owner is in the restaurant and is very friendly and hands on. Love the gyros sandwich & the souvlaki plate. The chefs special salad & the lemon soup are 2 other favorites. Best gyros in town! #CityExperts @GoogleLocalCHI

Very good but have gotten a bit too pricey for the neighborhood. Be careful if you request delivery. You may not get everything that should be included with a full meal. Gyros sandwich is a bit high and not that much better than other restaurants. Worth the experience and to judge for yourself!

Delicious fresh food served daily, open for lunch and dinner for pick up and delivery. Recently I placed a catering order and all of the guests were thrilled with food. Save yourself the trip from going downtown and visit Central Gyros local and family owned!

My family has been coming here regularly since they came to the United States, and so I have my first restaurant memories here. We moved from the neighborhood, but still come back on occasion when were passing. Wonderful gem, love it. Best!!

Great place for casual greek food! A few of my favorites are the saganaki, gyros, chicken lemon soup, and the cold spread sampler. The service is great and you will find parking across the street. I especially like the flavorful gyros.

Old school Chicago neighborhood fixture with friendly service and affordable quality food. Owner personally goes to say hello to every table (if you opt for table service). Counter take out another option. Beer and wine also.

1 x gyros plate Way over priced nothing special very thin greasy slices of meat pita very stale. Only positive is they have steak fries. Other than that your paying for their liquor license.
