I like here. I have been to both King House Buffet and China Garden. Food served is almost same (Chinese buffets throughout the US have the same things), but prices are totally different. King House costs you about 10 dollars each, while China Garden does about 6.95 (incl. tax), for lunch. Drink is included in the price in both places. I found a deal with China Garden and it offers "student discount" for college students. If you show your student ID, you can eat the same for $5.95!!

I really love this restaurant. Its in need of a major overhaul but the food for the price is pretty good. Anytime we order to go or for delivery the food is amazing. I would say a to go meal or delivery meal is better than the buffet, but the buffet has this amazing jalapeno chicken! I would give a higher star rating but they didnt have any of the sweet biscuits. Everything else has always been good it is definitely a place to try if you live around or go to school at MSUM.

I ordered from this restaurant for the first time over the weekend and was extremely disappointed with the service I received. I ordered delivery and they told me it would take about 40-45 min to be delivered to Moorhead... it took about 2 hours! When I received the food it was only warm. I ordered Won-tons and egg rolls which were much smaller in size then I have ever had. The egg rolls were not much bigger then an oversized chap stick. Very disappointing!

this has to be hands down my family;s favorite Chinese restaurant, we try other places but we find ourselves constantly comparing it, no one does it like the china garden love love love and the staff their is soooo awesome we can a long time with out going and we come in and they immediately remember our family favorite

They rarely change food treys and when they do its usually made to order. The food is mediocre at very best in the first 30 minutes of it being open if youre lucky enough to find the food that they didnt use from the night before. The best thing their is the cheap price. Besides that I wouldnt feed it to my dog.

Have them deliver about once a month and the food is always hot and fresh!! Ate in at the buffet and it was about average, I would highly recommend ordering in if you dont mind waiting 45mins and your in moorhead. We have never had a problem with our orders and have order from them about 20 times now.

I came here one night (7pm) to get food from the buffet, to-go, and the food looked like it had been sitting out all day. There were limited options and the few that I chose were cold and the flavor was mediocre when I managed to ignore how old it tasted.

Good food with decent delivery and take out times. Buffet is very affordable. Pleasant workers and atmosphere, just keep in mind that it is a buffet and the food does get stale when it is not busy.

Take out orders are usually not fresh, pretty sure they just take from the old buffet. I dont know why I keep going back, I guess because it is close. Avoid, they dont care about quality.

Most of their food is pretty ordinary, but their pepper chicken is to die for. When you order their lunch specials they give your an unreal amount of food for a pretty reasonable price.
