We winter in Rockport and China A experience is a must - large comfortable restaurant and great combination of Chinese, seafood and barbeque - sometimes we go with group so everyone finds food they like. Even those that resist buffets. Even real ice cream!!! Rockport has many nice restaurants but China A is a must for the exceptional variety. Love the seafood so for that you need to go for the dinner or Sunday menu. 8 types of shrimp - fish - raw oysters on half shell - crab legs - calamari various ways - sushi etc.

Nice decorations. The art is beautiful. They didnt have a big selection, nor are they super clean. The food is okay. I only got 2 things which were the spicy chicken and ship and the lo mien. I went surfing loch so they were not crowded and I do not know how the dinner items taste but from my experience it was a 4 out of 10. The customer service, the items I liked and the decor, are the only reasons I would go here but still those are not good enough.

We called in an order for about 10 people. They had it ready to go in about 25-30 minutes. The food was really good. Crab Rangoon and general Tsaos chicken were superb. We got fried rice and shrimp lomein and sweet and sour chicken, all very good. I didnt have a chance to look at the buffet but I highly recommend their food to go. Thanks China A, you made for a great Christmas evening!

Great fast buffet! The food is buffet quality (not fine dining). Youve found a favorite inexpensive spot for local grubbers to chow down on. You get a bang for your buck thats for sure. Know that the majority of the foods are fried or heavily sauced. There is a generous fruit bar and some salad if you are not into that sort of thing. An easy yes!

Price is right for what you get. Isnt the worst buffet Ive been to but also not the best. A few of the stirfrys were pretty good. Had decent wonton and egg drop soup. The sushi was really bad. The kids really liked the ice cream which i would say was of good quality(actual brand name in buckets) versus the usually soft server machine.

Amazing!! They have a full, hot buffet of all the usuals PLUS crab legs, boiled shrimp, crawfish and the most incredible selection of sushi! My 7 year old got a full steak cooked to order at the hibachi. They also have BBQ hibachi but we didnt try that. Came here for vacation and must say our best meal here was this place!!

Their food is disgusting, the pizza tastes like rotten milk, there is weird chunky green stuff in vanilla ice-cream, and their watermelon is an absolute disgrace. Their food is far from fresh and after eating here I am genuinely concerned for my health!!!

I entertain out of town guests about twenty folks twice yearly. They repeatedly ask to come to China "A"... Apparently the place is appealing. Eat here personally often, but tend to prefer seafood and sushi items.....

Ordered to go. Rice and entrées were okay, not too much taste. Actually ordered spicy however if didnt taste spicy at all. Good portion for the price. No fortune cookies (LOL) that was a first.

I have been here twice for lunch, both times they were just opening. Everything was fresh and hot as could be. I loved the coconut shrimp...couldve eaten 3 plates of that alone.....

One time there was a cooked roach in my food. They didnt give me a refund either. Another friend got food poisoning and ended up in the hospital after eating here.
