The food was less than desirable. They are suppose to be breakfast and lunch only, you think this would have made the food decent. On the contrary however the food was awful (I had a burger, breakfast may be different). The burger was clearly a frozen pre-patty, and to be honest, McDonalds is MUCH better (I hate McDonalds burgers, yet I think they are better than this place). The Bacon that was on the burger was nearly impossible to chew. We were never asked how our food was while we were at the table eating, nor did the waitress return to provide refills. I would never return to this location. I am writing this review today, but this experience occurred a couple weeks back. We visited the establishment around 11:30am for lunch, they were not busy (maybe 10 tables total at that time. I dont suggest going here, especially if you want a burger. Youre better off going a minute or two up the road to the fast food joints.

We love breakfast and when we were visiting friends in the area they told us we had to try Ham n Eggers. We are so glad we did. We sat at the bar top. Donna was extremely helpful. She went so far above and beyond, I felt like a local! My girlfriend and I shared a huge breakfast of 3 eggs 2 pancakes and the most delicious bacon I can remember having. Donna split our breakfast for us. She overheard us talking about our favorite new England tradition of a grilled blueberry muffin and next thing we know she is slicing and buttering the muffin herself to hand to the grill. We cant wait to come back on our next visit to Pittsburgh!

I liked it. I had lunch here. I had a club sandwich and it was HUGE. More importantly, it was delicious. It was actually carved turkey, not chintzy deli sliced turkey. The bacon on it was really good as well. You wont go hungry here. The portions are good sized. My only thing I didnt like - and it may just be me - was the fries. I cant tell if they were seasoned or what but they werent my favorite. Cute place with a retro decor.
