Worst service ever. We were seated and left there for fifteen minutes before anyone came to the table. The server did not explain anything on the menu and just simple answer "yes" and "no" to everything. He even called me "dude". Food came out relatively quick but the chips tasted old and stale. We asked for a couple sides (cheese and limes) and another server brought them and casually set them on the table and just walked away. Not one single time did anyone come to the table to ask how the food was, how we were, nothing. After finishing our meal, we waited ANOTHER FIFTEEN MINUTES before I finally had to flag down our server for the check. No "thank you" or "come again" or anything of the matter. The employees seemed too occupied with talking to one another to even care that there were patrons in the restaurant. Very disappointing. I do not recommend the food or service.

Worst Place ever!! Never again will i return. I ordered my food and i had only taken two bites of my side rice, when i see a HAIR!!!! I immediately call over a waiter, and all i get is " let me give you another plate". He never apologized. I was disgusted!!! He brings over another plate, 15 mins later, and by that point i am too grossed out to even eat. So i tell him i will "take it to go". He brought me my bill, for the full price. I asked him if i could at least get a discount. His answer was no "because we already gave you a new plate with out the hair". I could not believe it!!! So i told him i would not pay for anything, that he could keep the food. This restaurant has zero ethics! DISGUSTED! I never write reviews, El Parian definitely deserved this one!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! While i may have a flair for the dramatic, this place was the worst "mexican" restaurant i have ever eaten at. I read the reviews and noticed they varied in an extreme manner, and decided to chance it. The waiter was obviously unhappy to be there, the chips and salsa were bland and the food was horrid. I ordered the "special dinner", upon receiving the plate i realized i had made a huge mistake. The tamale and chalupa were obviously microwaved and the taco shells were nothing short of what i would expect at taco bell. I am thoroughly dissapointed and felt i should warn others. This place is about as authentic as little caesers pizza, poor quality and poor service.

It was clean, but I didnt use the restroom so not sure about that. The food was very good, nice portion size, the salsa was good the chips not so good. The waitress never checked on us once after she took our order... NOT once, the hostess ignored us and the owner seemed to be focused on only his Mexican customers, but we did manage to wave him down to get a second drink. The bus boy was running his butt off, very hard worker. We usually go to Theresas, but this was closer so thought we would finally try it. Next time we will drive a bit further for the warmth of the servers and the service alone. Comparable price although Theresas may be a bit less and you get rice and beans.

Our waitress was absolutely horrible. They forgot drinks, when we tried to order after waiting 45 minutes the waitress told us she was too busy and would come back!?!? They then brought out the wrong meal for me, and when I told them of this they tried to tell me that I was wrong??? Our waitress was never around, I got up to use the bathroom and she was sitting at the bar talking with another waitress!! This was the first time we have been there and will NEVER be back. I have also told countless people about this experience and they also will not be going there.

The food is superb. It is tasty and the portions are generous. The prices are reasonable and we typically have leftovers. They bring you fresh chips with two sauces before the meal. The lunch chimichanga plate is outstanding. Now, on to the service... it isnt bad service it just isnt good service. They usually get you seated quickly and take you order quickly and get you the food fairly quickly then ignore you. Then the maddening delay to get the check. They just arent very polite, either. 5 star food, the service drags them down to 4 stars.

Always been a regular here and I gotta share my thoughts. If you want fast, friendly service in the Lakeville area, El Parian is the place to go. The food comes out faster than the drinks half the time, its amazing! Jose and his crew always are friendly, kind and courteous. Food: Fresh, hot and always prepared to order. The combo plates are great deals and you get a lot of food for not a lot of money. Drink: BIG BIG BIG!!!! If you come on Tuesdays, its bogo! You will never be thirsty here. :) Atmosphere: Casual, laid back. No need to dress up.

We live close by and usually enjoy the food but last night the service was so bad that I dont care if the food is good, we will never go back. The waiter had an attitude and noticed it just wasnt with our table, it was with all of his tables...I used to recommend to friends but I will be changing mexican restaurants to recommend.. I have never seen a manager and would love to know who owns El Patio to let them know how their staff treats their customers.. Sorry El Patio..on to better service and better food...

Ate in there one time a while ago. Okay food and bad service. Tried to get to-go food recently and no one would look at me for at least 10 minutes... Very shortly later, I learned that this restaurant is part of a drug ring. Hmm... Makes sense now. Food, like a lot of around town is not freshly made, mostly frozen. Too bad because there are restaurants with-in 10 minutes that make everything from scratch, have better service and are priced as good. STAY AWAY!

Not sure why this restaurant only has 4 stars because it was amazing!! A wonderful authentic Mexican restaurant!! I have been searching for a great Mexican restaurant in the twin cities for the past year and just found it! The food as ALOT of flavor! I got the Burritos Parian with steak and my husband the beef chimichanga, both were excellent, same with the rice! The service was pretty good too! This will definitely be our go to Mexican restaurant from now on!!

OMG. PARADISE. Beautiful place. Nice service. BEST OF ALL is food. Hubby ordered shrimp a la diabla. Daughter had Cheese quesadilla And I ordered La lancha Everything is delicious. Ow yeah we started with octopus and shimp quesadillas. Wow. I thought i had tried best ones already but El Parians really are full of fresh flavors. It was a pleasure to go to El Parian!!!! Definitely a resraurant to recomend 100% And we will be back. 100%

I had the best experience at el parian mexican restaurant i loved it so much i wish i had the chef in my kitchen the best food hands down i ever had i highly recomend it for anyone who wants really good food come visit us and if you want some good drinks they have the best bartender ever, he will make any drink you want and make you feel at home they are very friendly and they will help you find what you want and need
