Best diner ever! Ive been to other diners, but I keep coming back to this one. Its simple small diner, but its the best Ive ever been to. The food is excellent. Try one of the Paninis they have. Try one of the delicious salads. Try anything you cant go wrong! The portions are plentiful. Everything is fairly priced. My wife and I come here all the time. Now, we come here with the whole family like we did today. It was my birthday and they brought me a delicious piece of carrot cheese cake. It was so good and I ate so much I couldent even walk straight. Its family owned and the staff is so friendly and helpful. I feel happy every time I come here. If you havent tried them yet, do it. You wont regret it. -Mike-

The Farmingdale Diner is new.The owners are new and so is everything inside and outside. The diner opened up in May 2014 and I have not stopped going there. Everything is awesome! The food, price, staff, cleanliness, etc. I dont want to go on and on but this is my now favorite diner. It is owned by family, a father and his four sons. They are so friendly and may I add, Cute! The waffles are to die for. The other reviews here are for the previous owners bc the Farmingdale Diner opened in May 2014.

Ive lived in this area most of my life and have been eating breakfast at this diner since the mid 80s. Ive always enjoyed it. Last time I went was about a month ago. Not sure what the last reviewer is talking about, but Ive never found any of the staff to be "creepy". Never encountered any other problems (such as with the food, hygiene problems of the staff, etc.). Definitely a nice place to go for breakfast.

Havent stepped foot in the place since the previous owners. Heard some positive stuff about it, figured Id give it a shot. Big ol bug in my salad. An entire whole insect. Pretty poor first impression. Called to voice my disappointment and was met with indifference and a weak "Well, thats never happened before...". Well, I wont be back to find out if its a regular bonus with a meal.

I received very fast service and lots of attention. I did not care for the chicken soup at all. The Cesar salad was cut into tiny pieces and was hard to pick up with their fork, although tasty. The stuffed peppers were ok but I would not get it again. Because of their service and personality I will rate them as 3 stars. The food could always be much better.

First time eating here and first impressions is its good environment with friendly and happy staff. Food wise ordered a burger with onion rings and it was so oily the cheese didnt hold both of the buns onto the burger. Onion rings were just as bad. I may give this place another try at a later time but it was close to home while snowing.

Awesome beets at first and little bread rolls to start. I just wish they made the homemade blue cheese dressing like the previous owners! However, terrific experience always. Id love for them to add sea bass and sea scallops too .......yum. Well still keep going in the meantime.

Very disappointed with the service, most important was, there was a half piece of sugar wrapper inside my mash potatoes, that was disgusting! They didnt apologize, just came over to give us some stupid excuses! The server was rude too. Not recommended this diner!

The food is ok. The waitstaff is wonderful. But the owner gave no care when told there were dogs locked in a car in their parking lot. That is a huge deal breaker for me. It is illegal to leave a dog in a parked car in NYS.
