The food here is good. Not amazing, but good. The person you are likely to talk to on the phone is rather curt, but dont let that stop you from calling in an order for delivery. Delivery charges are pretty cheap, as are food prices (at least if you order Quart size!), and delivery times are reasonable. (Usually under half an hour.) I dont recommend eating out at this restaurant, however. The atmosphere is not very good. Add this to your phone as a good and quick place for Chinese delivery (probably the best in Ypsilanti) when you dont feel like cooking. If you want to go to a restaurant, however, drive to Ann Arbor and go to either TK Wu, Champion House or Pacific Rim. The first has fabulous food and decent atmosphere (although not even slightly fancy!), the last is the fanciest, and the second is in the middle. All have very good food, but the Mu-shu Chicken at TK Wu is amazing.

This place used to be the only location id buy chinese food from but, after today I WILL NEVER ORDER HERE AGAIN. I made a order for delivery for my usual...sesame chicken and to my surprise i get sweet and sour chicken. When i call to inform them i got the wrong order the man on the phone decided to get smart and tell me no i ordered my own meal incorrectly. I asked him to bring out my food and they can have the wrong meal...the driver pops back up and demands the food but, doesnt have my order. Then i call the store back and the same guy once again is gettinf mouthy with a customer. So i told him to completely cancels it and come get the food. The driver then tries to go off on me as well. WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT...what ever happened to being respectful...

We called in our three different orders for our friday dinner and mine is what I am basing this review on. I ordered the Jumbo Shrimp Sweet and Sour with the large Hot and Sour soup and 1 egg roll. The egg roll was mostly filled with cabbage and seemed VERY dry tasting, the Hot and Sour soup was ok but not the best Ive ever had, the Jumbo shrimp sweet and sour was mostly breading and the so-called jumbo shrimp were barely what I would call even a medium size, NOT jumbo by any degree! Along with the order taking longer then 10 minutes to arrive when we are just a few blocks away from them. So to say the least I was NOT and AM NOT going to be a repeat customer and am NOT happy with the meal AT ALL!!!

While the food at lucky garden is delicious the service has really gone down. They are no longer polite just efficient. When we dined in every table was dirty and we had to just wipe it off with our hands. When our food came the portions were half of what they used to be. I almost felt ripped off. We shared a meal and the extra plate was visibly dirty. Our soy sauce container was empty and we only seen the waitress when brought us our food. She never checked on us again and we never got water. Besides the two of us there were only two others dining in so i dont have an explanation for the experience other than the service just going down. Im sad to say it because weve been going there for years.

Service wise this place was very good. When I called I was told there would be a 30-40 minute wait but ten minutes after I hung up the delivery man was at my building. I ordered chicken with broccoli and white rice. The rice and broccoli were good but the chicken was disgusting. I honestly dont think it was chicken at all because it was too rubbery. The taste was absolutely terrible. I will not be ordering from Lucky Garden in the future.

I am not one to tear a place apart in a review, but I ordered Beef Lo Mein from Lucky Garden yesterday and as I was enjoying my food I felt something weird in my mouth. I thought it was a hard vegetable, but then it poked me. I moved it to the front of my mouth and come to find out there was a strip of metal in my food. If I could posy a picture on here I would. It is on their Facebook page though for proof. I recommend not eating here.

This place used to be really good years ago, but quality has gone down while prices have gone up. I cant even say my order was even mediocre...sad when steamed white rice has more flavor than the shrimp egg fu yung, the brown sauce should have been called white sauce and again, no flavor. The shrimp rolls were chewy instead of crisp. Very very disappointed...the only reason I went with 3 stars is the service was at least good and quick.

Lucky Gardens one of those places that always seems to be polarized one way or the other. I hear people say they absolutely love it, and people say they absolutely hate it, for one reason or another. I find it to be decent, but not stellar. Delivery service is good, quick, and easy, the foods quality is not amazing, but theyre good for quick Chinese on a Friday night when youve got a hankering for some Sichuan chicken.

No flavor. They switched my order with my friends, and I was halfway through his sesame chicken before he mentioned it was weird my Tso had sesame seeds and his sesame chicken didnt. We tried each others food and realized it was exactly the same except one has sesame seeds. Its decently priced compared to campus prices, but unless youre lazy its not worth it. It could be good food if they actually cared about quality.

Ive ordered from them probably a dozen times in the last few months. The food is always decent, except for their chicken. Any chicken meal Ive Ever ordered from them has always been extremely poor. Dry, and overcooked to the point of just being inedible. Their prices and portion size is more or less on par with everyone else in the area, and their delivery is reliable and with in the 30-40 minute window.

The other day I ordered delivery from Lucky Garden. I placed my order, paid with my debit card, took a phone call from a customer, and by the time I was done with the call the delivery man was in my office... They always tell you that it will take 35 minutes, but it is often 15 or less. FASTER DELIVERY THAN JIMMY JOHNS

I always order delivery. Their food is pretty good for Americanized Chinese food. They give you a great portion of food as well, especially for the price. Delivery is always fast and the food is always hot. I totally recommend this place if you want quick Chinese and dont wanna spend a lot of cash.!.!.!.

The food is good, especially their fried rice but the delivery person sucks, he never comes in and give such a weird expression as if he is doing favor on you. Their service standard sucks. I would say if you can pick up the food, its good but dont rely on the delivery.

Ordered food, didnt hear anything from them for an hour, called was told it was on its way, called back 30 minutes later, found out they hadnt made my order and the person I spoke to 30 minutes later was too busy to find out where my order actually was. Rude.
