First I would not recommend eating in, the service is very slow and prices are high. We have ordered carry out many times and have been satisfied with the outcome, but this last time was anything but pleasant. Ordered on the phone as normal and was told it would be ready in 15-20 minutes. Well I got there at the 20 minute mark and waited another 30 minutes for my food. No discussion from the staff as to what the delay was. In fact when I asked they had no response. When they rung me up not even an apology for the wait, no discount for the inconvenience in fact they made sure to add the 25 cents for the hot mustard! As I was getting ready to leave after paying they said have a nice day, really! I for one will never order from them again.

Weve been getting take out for years here, just got it again tonight [sweet & sour chicken w/ fried rice]. Food tastes fine as always; its not high end or exotic or anything like that, but good simple Chinese food for a TV night every now & again. Weve tried a couple others in the Clarkston & Waterford area, all relatively comparable, although I would prefer if the sweet & sour came with veggies & pineapple chunks at East Ocean, its fine for what we order so we keep coming back.

The same average Chinese food I could get from any number of other places in metro Detroit, but higher prices and lower quality meat. Entrees took quite some time to arrive on a dead Monday night. My dish was pretty spicy per my request, but the chicken was cut into tiny, tough bits. Redeeming qualities? The soups are decent, the cabbage-based egg roll was above average, and their hot mustard is tear-inducingly hot (which takes some serious heat for me to say).

Without a doubt ! ! ! Absolutely the worst Chinese food Ive ever had. Ordered sweet and sour pork.....big mistake......could have gotten a better sweet and sour entree from Krogers. The Won Ton soup was luke warm....the egg roll was luke warm and had very little flavor. Please dont go there. When I walked in there was not one person in the restaurant. (huge clue, of course) I had to give it a try, since I live only a half a mile away. AWFUL ! ! ! !

This place has everything from hamburgers to sushi! Even a full bar! I wouldn't recomend the sushi though, I ordered a few different rolls but the all contained dried out imitation crab and hard slices of avocado, Service is unpleasant and food is poor, but they charge five star restaurant prices! So if you want to get a hamburger at a Chinese dinner or maybe some old sushi and wash it down with a bud light you've found the right place!

I went to dinner with a group of friends. We are all from out of town and wanted Chinese. I ordered the general Tsos Chicken. The breading was way too thick and it really didnt have that much flavor. On top of that, the rice was horrible. Ive had better luck microwaving my own. Normally, I wouldnt care a whole lot about the quality, but it cost $13.75. The combination of poor taste, slow service, and high prices will ensure I dont come back.

These people are very kind and explained dishes with me in order to expand my Chinese food repertoire. The food is delicious and AUTHENTIC. My Vietnamese wife thoroughly enjoys the cuisine as both cultures share some similar flavor profiles.

Eaten there once during this past summer. Had either the general tso chicken or sweet & sour chicken. Either way, the food was okay; edible and filling but not overly tasty. Prices are on the high-end for the lunch portion that we received.

Never had a good experience here. Their ONE waitress is absolutely horrid. You have to flag her down to get a refill youve been waiting for, and the food isnt even remotely worth the wait!

Been going here for 15+ years. Best sit down Chinese resturant. Food is awesome, people are extremely friendly. Never had a bad experience here, takeout or otherwise.

Too expensive. Food is satisfactory but we got two appetizer wing orders and one dinner and it was $22. There are many options to get more value for your dollar.

Take it from someone with a qualified opinion (the only Jew) in Clarkston, the closest decent Chinese food is Eastern Pearl on Dixie.

I usually get the general tsos chicken to-go, and it is always very good. This has become my go-to Chinese restaurant in Clarkston.
