Unfortunately, my experience wasnt very pleasant. I went in to order soup today and the service and the soup was horrible. Instead of the lady greeting me properly, she yells "can I help you?" from the back of the restaurant where she was wrapping utensils. I thought "Wow", it would make more sense for her to come down to the register to help me, considering I was ordering takeout. When she walked down to the register, she asked why was I looking at her the way that I was. I responded, "because that is the way that you are looking at me". She says, "first time"? I said, "yes". She never greeted me at all and while I was waiting for my soup, I was wondering, should I even get the soup. Well, when I make it home and attempt to eat the soup, it did not have any taste or flavor to the soup at all (Hot and Sour). I called to let them know about their soup and that I was not happy. The lady said I could bring back for refund; She did not offer an apology. She was just down right "RUDE". So, I was refunded $8.53. Needless to say, I will never go back there. I read one of the previous reviews, where they received good service and that the manager was a man. I wasnt so lucky! I hope other people have a better experience.

THE OWNER HERE IS AWFUL!! She treated me so badly. I went there with my family and ordered no sauce on my food. When it came out I let her know it was wrong, she told me that I didnt order it the way I did.. She then went on to talk down to me and I told her I just wanted a refund.. Which she denied. I told her I would call the police if need be.. She then got a $20 bill out of her register and threw it in my face!! But what you wont believe is she then started ranting about how her food is good food really good food. And told me to go ahead and get McDonalds!! And even went as far as telling me her religion, I replied that I was Christian she started telling me that I wasnt good enough to be one!! How dare she question my religious beliefs?? Mind that I was completely civil with this woman THE WHOLE TIME no profanity involved! The food looks good but this woman is just nasty and a complete turn off to the restaurant..I would NEVER go there

I just open my crab puffs and was so disappointed. It was some little thing in a circle . Like 1 in. by 1 in. Six littler then the frozen ones I get at the store and were over cooked and hard as rock. Last year I got the normal ones that look like stars from this place.Im assuming someone bought the place and is milking it for all its worth. If not then shame on you for serving such crap. These were so disappointing and nothing like the other China restaurant serve. You know those noodles you fell cheese in and cook with soup. Thats what they look like. Just pathetic. Over 5.00 for some bullshit. Look and taste your food before you leave there. That was my mistake. Trusting them!!!!

The food is very authentic, never had any problems with it. Been going there since 94. They will even customize the dish a bit if you have the waitress that has been there for 20 years, who is an awesome person (but gets chewed out for conversing with customers, so she doesnt talk as much as she used to). She alone is the reason why I would go back. Had Szechuan Duck (Peking Duck with Szechuan sauce, and the vegetables that go with it) The hostess can be a bit moody (once told me if I am too poor, I can go to McDonalds when I missed the lunch special by a few minutes, though that was 10+ yrs ago), but lately has been polite. The owner, he is a hard worker, and a very polite kind man.

My name is David, and I am the new owner of “ Chee Kong”. I am very glad to meet all of you. My uncle and his wife have retired, and today is the third month we opened, I am sorry, i am late to update the news. My uncle and his wife has been operating the Chee Kong for 30 years, this is not a easy thing. But please rest assured that although they have retired, my family will be more friendly to treat each guest.I know my family will make mistakes，but please forgive us, we will try our best to do every thing good and nice.

My family and I have gone here for Chinese food for the last 10 years in Davison, its been run by the same hardworking family for all of that time - and the food is wonderful! As I have traveled to China and had the food there - this is the closest that Ive had since we went. Also, the food is always ready on time and hot! And especially for carryout packed so it will not leak in your car!!! My 4 year old daughter especially loves their sweet and sour chicken! The owners are friendly and very very busy considering the door did not stop opening and closing with either carryout or dine in customers. If you havent tried this you need to!

This is the most disgusting place Ive ever ate. The place isnt to clean. You get that dirty feeling as soon as you walk in. Server was just creepy and made us feel uncomfortable eating in. The food is over priced for the quality. Its like they use canned chicken like what you find in Campbell chicken noodle soup for the chicken fried rice and soup. We get our bill and go to pay and they add on more money for a service charge... where do they do that at!? Dont waste your time or money trying the food. This was our first and last time going in this place!

Save your money!!!! Go somewhere else!! First time- walked into extremely RUDE service, the hours said they were open until 10pm, we walked in before 9pm and they said Take Out only. Fine, so we ended up ordering Kung Po Beef and Schezwan Chicken- the most BLAND, tasteless food I have ever tried. If you dont mind 5 stalks of celery in every bite, old meat, and the crunchiest doughiest egg roll- this is the place for you! I have no idea why the prices are so high here! DO NOT GO HERE! Youll thank me later, or wish you didnt if you do!

There are few options in Davison, Michigan for Chinese food, even fewer now that I have tasted Chee Kongs cooking. Ordered several dinners for my extended family and of all the available options, the white rice was the only thing that tasted good. The sauces were bland, the vegetables either over cooked or under cooked, and the egg rolls tastes like they had been fried in last years oil. Next time I am in the mood for good Chinese fair, I would rather travel an hour out of my way than eat here again.

The food is great, the service is perfect, and this is consistent. Were regular visitors, and will continue to be. We know that there are always times that a kitchen might not be running perfectly, or a server might have an off day, but it never happens here. We always know were going to have a great time, and a great meal. In the words of a another favorite restaurant, "friends dont let friends eat at chain restaurants." You wont be disappointed.
