Best BBQ in the area! I have gone here several times the staff is very friendly and usually the owner is there to say hi as well. Pulled pork is good but the chopped brisket is the best brisket I have ever had! Perfect marriage between pulled pork and beef brisket. Chicken is also very good, moist and smokey. I also regularly get the hot link which is spicy but very flavorful. As far as sides I usually skip the mac n cheese(which is good) and go for the baked potato salad which is way better. I also recommend the BBQ beans, regular potato salad, and smoked corn on the cob. The sweet sauce is great along with oakie bread. The turtle brownie is also a must try. Cant recommend this place enough. Try it you will love it!

This is real BBQ! I ate at Billy Sims yesterday and was very impressed with the quality, flavor and value of the food. I ordered the "1980" which is a combo including two meats of my choice and either two regular sides or one super side. I had the sliced beef brisket, boneless chicken breast, BBQ baked beans, and potato salad. the beans were just loaded pulled pork and had perfectly balanced flavor and texture. The chicken was perfect too with a delicate smoke flavor. I will be back soon to try some more.

Billy Sims is probably the best barbecue in the area by far. As far as taste goes excellent. Although the portions are very small for the price. I was somewhat shocked though. I thought everything was made from scratch. Until I saw them making the beans. They were opening up canned beans and adding there meat to them. Not what I was led to believe. I will still buy the barbecue though.

Horrible service, rude employees! Small portion of food, for the expensive price! Famous Daves is wayyyy better! My ribs were pink on the inside. I asked for my money back, & they said I would have to come back when manager was on duty! What kind of establishment doesnt have a manager on duty? The employees are rude and have NO customer service. DONT EVER EAT HERE!!!

This is ABSOLUTELY the best BBQ pork Ive ever had. The Mild Sauce and buttered buns go together for a superb wrapping for the melt-in-your-mouth meats! My favorite side is the Baked Beans. Of course my son likes the Mac and Cheese side best! :) Try the sliced Beef Brisket for a lean beef solution. Youll be coming back OFTEN, like my family does!

I was there the night that this jasmine was there with her boyfriend/husband. I was the one that your husband threw food at. I was ready to call 911 on you. The people at this restaurant are the most guest oriented in the area. The food is second to none! I see all the plaques and awards to prove it. I have never been disappointed.......ever!

Good BBQ doesnt require sauce. Its needs nothing other than smoke & a good rub. Make sure to get sauce with your order. Its not the owners fault or the employees. Im sure the lack of flavor is due to the corporate recipes. The one star is for the employees. They get a gold star. Friendly, good people.

Small place i guess no more then a party of 3 would be completely overcrowded great food though service was very nice the size of the place over heats due to ovens and what not being right in sight. But yeah pick up your food if you can overall 8 out of 10. Not to shabby Mr.simms

Best BBQ in the area. Everything Ive tried has been top notch. Pulled pork, smoked Turkey and ribs are all excellemt, but the chopped brisket is out of this world.. Skip the sauce and enjoy the smokey goodness. All the sides are fabulous too! Youve got to try this place.

The Troy Michigan location has a very friendly staff and store is very clean. We love to get take out for lunch whenever possible. The food was excellent and the sauces are not something you can get in the grocery store. This location is highly recommended!

Love the Heisman Sandwich. Many food choices, very clean, and TVs to see some sports on! Smoked BBQ is very good. Very good price too, buy the souvenir cup and reuse it, save a buck! Very good location too right on crooks rd.

Simply the best BBQ in town! Bad Brads, Dickys or Slows do not even compare. Eat here and you will not be disappointed! I wish they had burnt ends, but everything on the menu is outstanding!
