We went on Mother’s Day to try this restaurant, what a mistake. We arrived at 6pm, a party of 7, and had an hour wait (this was fine). We sat down at 7pm and were not served dinner until 8:15pm, an hour and 15 minute wait. There were two parties of equal size that were sat down after us which received their food easily a half hour before us so I don’t think their kitchen was that backed up. In fact, the majority of us felt our waitress forgot to put in the order. When the food finally came out, the condition was less than stellar (it had been rushed?). First, from the first person being served to the last was about a 5 to 7 minute span. Everything came out piece-meal. One member of our party ordered a cheeseburger without onions. It came out with onions and was cold. She ended up sending it back and cancelling the order all together. I had the pulled pork sandwich. The sandwich itself was good, but I’m not sure what the cottage fries are supposed to be. I received a plate of sliced potatoes that were soaked in oil. A few (very few) were crispy, but the majority were limp, grease soaked slices. Are they supposed to be similar to chips? Should they be crunchy? Everyone that received them found they were all in the same condition. A few of our party members did order the ribs and found those to be lacking as well. They expected them to fall off the bone, but our waitress informed them that that is not the way the ribs are served. That was a disappointment. Given the length of time for the main meal, we did not order dessert. To add the final insult, as a party of 7, gratuity was automatically added to the bill when clearly less was probably appropriate. Maybe this lead to the poor service since there was no need to provide decent service; the tip was already a foregone conclusion. Unfortunately, this was our first visit and probably our last. This definitely ranks as one of our worst restaurant experiences.

Having worked in the restaurant industry for over 20 years, when I hired into THE BONEYARD I realized that it was a very special place to work because of the number of employees who have worked there for so long. Coming from corporate restaurants this place treats their employees and customers like family because it is a family owned restaurant and that makes all the difference in the world. There are fathers and daughters sisters and brothers ,mothers and sons working together and you wont get that any corporate or trendy restaurant. For 30 years The boneyard has stood the test of time because of the food . Ribs that are delicious, chicken that falls off the bone. If youre a seafood fan you have got to try our shrimp, you wont be disappointed. And the steaks are something that the owner takes great pride in. The portion size are very generous and the price is a good deal, you pay a little more than fast food, for a slab for two. We have draft beer specials during the week, $1.50 for a Bud or Bud light. And we pour a pretty good Long Island. In this day and age we need to keep local family businesses like this alive

I could have made everything at home in less time than it took to get our drinks. I ordered the southwestern chicken. All it is, chicken with generic BBQ sauce, southwest cheese slice, cheddar cheese slice, diced tomatoes from a can, a few onions and cilantro. Absolutely everything taste like it was from Gordons Food Service. Extremely low quality. The Garlic bread had no garlic and was burnt. Than the mashed potato arrived wrapped in tin foil like they nuked it in a microwave which is just how it tasted like. Nothing had any flavor. At the beginning of the order I ordered some lemonade for my drink. It was made from a powered mix and again had no flavor, and if I would be so bold to name the brand I would guess it was Crystal Light. Extremely poor service. My girlfriend ordered a burger where the bun and burger were both burnt, than didnt even assemble the burger. Kind of just slapped it on a plate and handed it to her. We will not be returning.

Went in on Saturday, August 6th. I repeat SATURDAY. Took us almost almost an hour for our food. Service sucked! We basically waited on ourselves. We pre-buss our own table. Server left a pitcher of water that we serve ourselves. Almost walked out. After 50 minutes waiting food finally came out. Server didnt even clean up our salad plates that we already gathered up. Those plates werent picked up until we called the manager over. Manager was worse. Told her everything wrong and she made an excuse that theres only 1 server working... 1 server working the whole restaurant on a Saturday at lunch time?!? So where was the manager??!! She should of been helping serve as well. Just overall disgrace!

My family and I go often to the Boneyard III on Plymouth road and have been for years. Today, as we were packing up and leaving, a server for another table tells us "That table over there says you have to keep your kids quiet and they cannot run around the table. Just go with it." Of course were not going to "Just go with it." 1. We were obviously leaving and these patrons had no business saying that. My kids were NOT out of hand. 2. That server really should have ignored the request or informed them that we were in fact leaving. We will not be back, that was the rudest experience ever. The hostess (whom I believe is the owner) didnt care when we told her we would not be back either.

Well I must say I have never had an experiences quite like this before... it start off good, but as we sat waiting for our food... I noted a Flying Bug out of the corner of my eye… However after our food came to the table the bugs were everywhere... I could not even eat without having to swat the bugs away from my food it was so unsetting and gross... If this is what it’s like in the dining room. I can’t image what the kitchen must be like... And after making the hostess and the casher aware of the problem... I was told that this was an ongoing issuer… I could not get out of there fast enough and me and my Family will never be back again

One thing I can say about this place is you will not be disappointed. Their ribs arent fall of the bone but are really delicious. The half bbq chicken is finger licking good, their t bone steak is thick, large, she cooked to perfection, lastly the bone yard burger is a must try.... It is so large that I would not recommend for the weak who cannot handle a challenge. The servers always paying attention to your needs and they being out pitchers so your drinks never run low. The best part is you feed a large family without crying at the cashiers register... highly recommended

Im not a fan of pork, but the ribs were really good. Tender, meaty with minimal fat. ( no porky flavor ).. The bbq sauce the waitress brought out was NASTY ! Like dipping a strawberry into apple cider vinegar. Shrimp was good . Lightly breaded.. Not over done.. Waitress attendance was perfect.. Came by table twice and left me alone while I was stuffing my face .. Salad was dull. 2 tables next to me dirty. Hasnt been cleaned since the last customer .. Dirty the whole time Ive been here... ( hows the kitchen ) ...
