This place is NOT to be trusted! Need to appease your pho craving? Go to Veranda Noodle Bar or the Saigon, not here. But worst of all was the treatment we received from the owner. We were looking for Asian catering and he agreed to cater for our wedding. We even called him a couple months later to confirm it and he said he wrote the date and to call him in May to go over details. HOWEVER, 6 months before the wedding he called and said he booked someone else on our date. He said he was busy and forgot about us and refused to cancel the other wedding, thus leaving us having to scramble for another caterer when we booked him a YEAR in advance. Do yourself a favor and eat better Vietnamese food at another Portland restaurant and avoid this shady restaurant that lacks ethics.

Incredible food and great prices! I have been going to this restaurant for 4 yrs now and every experience has been excellent. I think it’s the best Thai food I’ve seen in America out of 20+ states that I’ve had the chance to sample Thai. I take my 4 yr old son there all the time, and he loves the Thai fried rice and of course the appetizer sample. If you drink, you will not be disappointed. If you are looking for great atmosphere, 4 star service (you won’t feel like you have to wear a suit and tie), and incredible food at a great value then you have to come here!

Hi I am from Melbourne Australia Currently in transit in PWM =PORTLAND? Maine on way to Nova Scotia with a group of friends when we meet up tomorrow. I decided on using this delivery for my dinner. ..not knowing what to expect. To my pleasant surprise... The delivery was punctual; The dishes ordered: Tom Yum Soup,Tofu with beans & curry with steamed rice were all excellent! I highly recommend Mekong Asian Bistro for all those who are hungry and away from home. Bon Appétit

-My wine glass had lipstick on it, like it hadnt been washed. -The pork bun appetizer was cold. -My partners entree came out way before mine. -When mine finally came out, it was also cold and the plate actually looked dirty!! The manager gladly made me another dish to take home, and took my entree off the bill. Good customer service, terrible food!

This food is middling at best -- unsure if it wants to be Thai, Chinese, or some other Pan-Asian cuisine. To be fair, we couldnt figure it out either. Its rare we dont bother to eat the leftovers, but this was one of those rare occasions. Dont bother.

The crispy pad Thai was thoroughly mediocre. It was crispy because of the noodles they packed with it in a separate bag. Sysco duck sauce and salt does not a pad Thai make. Nice try, guys. I wont go there again.

If I could Id give a zero. This place is horrible they couldnt even make our food after we ordered it 40 minutes ago. This places staff is incompetent and their service is terrible dont eat here ever.

Even if you show up late on a Wednesday night the owner, Tony, will feed you and make you fantastic drinks. The food is better than any other Thai place Ive been to in Portland. Great job guys!

Fresh shrimp and pork spring rolls were fantastic, a nice zesty tang to the sauce that comes with. Also had the seafood pho and all I added to the broth was a lime, very good!
