The past few times I have come to this Meijer I have had terrible experiences as far as customer service. There are a few greeters who are very unpleasant. An older woman and another younger man. If someone says hello to you, the least you can do is do your job and respond. Also some cashiers and another woman who was walking around were very rude to me. I was very much stereotyped while shopping. I am a young mom of little ones. I know I look young and apparently that means I need to be followed around the store while I am shopping with my family. Absolutely unacceptable. I cant even go grocery shopping without being watched for ABSOLUTELY NO REASON! I should have called the manager but it wasnt worth wasting my time. The store itself is fine. But Meijer really needs to work on their staff doing a better job of being customer friendly. After the past few experiences I have had, there is no way I will be coming back here again. Id rather just go to WalMart.

Was looking for LaCroix / sparkling water, looked all over the drinks section couldnt find it. Asked 3 employees for help (two of them were standing in the drinks section) one said that it was his first day here and he had no clue, another took me to the drinks section and said "somewhere in here" and then left. Another was very confused and spent like 2 minutes looking at a card trying to figure it out before offering to call a manager. I asked if they knew of a different grocery store nearby and the employee said they werent from around here and couldnt even help me with that. Wowy great service.

I love Meijer in general especially over Walmart across the street. I really dont like how this particular Meijer is set up, just a weird layout. I purchased 11 bags of mulch here and when I opened the last one it was full of big black ants the spread through my garden quick! I took that bag back and explained what happened. They were very helpful and exchanged it out, I also was able to get some ant traps at no cost but I dont think they are working cause I am still finding them all over now.

I used to shop almost exclusively at Meijers a few times a week and loved it. Now I do most of my shopping at Kroger and Costco. Meijer has great produce, great meat, great cheeses and diary. The problem I have now is that Im buying organic and Meijer does not have a great selection. I wish they had more organic and better prices. The meat they offer is higher priced than anywhere else Ive paid for organic meat. I also wish they had a larger fruit and veggie selection.

I was a victim of stereotype. The people was very rude, me and my little sister walked in with just the clothes on our backs.... We carried no bags, pureses, etc. why was we being follow around the store like criminals. Of course were African American, and it has been stated on several occasions that the city of Howell, MI are VERY RACISTS. It has been proving and confirmed that this city does live up to there racists judgment of character.

Much like its competitor Walmart you already know what to expect. The basic grocery, clothing, electronic, and baby stuff can all be found under its roof. Meijer does grocery shopping better than Walmart. I cant put my finger on it, but it seems more "efficient". Its generally cleaner and better priced than its competition. Overall I would recommend this establishment 9/10 times over any other super center grocery store.

Its not the WORST place to shop but its pretty bad. It seems like everytime I go here something happens that makes me not want to go here again. The people here are not very involved in the work they do and couldnt care less it seems. The prices are pretty darn high. Its usually extremely busy with not enough cashiers to help. The selection of food is OK though. Thats Really the only reason Im giving them 2 stars.

Prices are good, lots of regular sales, carts are always available and they have a really good deli. The only thing that keeps me from making it five stars is that they seem to run out of stock a lot or quantity of an item will get very low, also the line for the deli counter can be extremely slow and they seem to only staff one or two people at a time which can lead to a painful wait time.

It is convenient and on my way home. They always have everything i need and there are always sales going on. My favorite sale is the "buy 10 get the 11th free". This is where I do all of my grocery and house essentials shopping. This Meijer is one of the best store layout and easy for you to shop. This Meijer is always busy and lines can sometimes be a 15-20 min wait.

Nice Employees, they respond when you smile :) Good selection of items, their produce section is almost always looking great. Sundays are definitely VERY busy, so if you want a good selection of produce go early! They JUST repaved the parking lot and it makes such a HUGE difference. Doesnt feel like my arms are going to fall off pushing the cart to the car.

Great up front cashier employees with personality. You cant have a store that sells everything without having subject matter experts in each section. If I have a question about tackle for fishing, nobody knows. Nobody knows about anything you sell bit you expect to sell it. That is not how it works. You sell a product by knowing the product....etc

I dont hate Meijer, I just dont like being in line for 25+ minutes. I dont do self scan and express lane was closed. So standing for that long after standing for 4 hours at work just dont cut it. I came to Meijer because I stood for a half hour at Walmart yesterday. I figure it would be faster at Meijer cause I didnt have much time to spare.

Whoever is on Meijers marketing team sure knows what they are doing!! The store took a little getting used to, but now that it is complete, it looks GREAT!! The produce/deli/baking section is so nice and easy to find anything you need! The only area not so nice would be kitchen appliances, but everything else is wonderful!

This store has by far the WORST photo department ever! I placed two orders online on two separate days and both times my order "didnt come through" although I had email confirmations that it did. I spoke with two different people and they both told me that it was an error on my end, I will never shop here again!

Received a belt as a b-day gift. I didnt have a receipt but the bar code was still on it. They didnt have an exact match to exchange and they told me it was on clearance for a $1. So a brand new Wrangler belt ($25) they would give me a $1 store credit. Really Meijer. No more money from me Meijer.

I am disappointed about the way the deli is treated i see the same two or three people their well after their closng time still cleaning and then being asked why they cant finish on time over heard one day because they had to do not only their work but also day shift unsat in mu eyes
