Went this morning with a friend. She got eggs and ham which was OK, Hard to ruin that. I ordered the "voted #1" French Toast. The first order came and looked like toast. If there was any egg on that bread it wasnt visible to the naked eye. I asked the waitress to have it remade. That was a chore as she spoke very little if any English. (Im amazed in that area there are no English speakers that would be willing to wait, especially in this economy. My guess is the owners are too cheap to go that route) The replacement was soft and gooey. By this time I was hungry and my friend was almost done so I just ate it and chalked it up. Not a good experience.

Wasnt accommodating. I ordered cheesy grits and a sausage side, a quick breakfast. The grits were extremely bitter to taste. I didnt scoop a single spoonful. I alerted the waiter and he was not understanding. He didnt offer a replacement and didnt want to remove the charge. My friend ordered a bloody Mary and eggs Benedict. She says her eggs were overcooked/firm and her bloody Mary had too much seasoning. My other friend with us said he really enjoyed the Cruise omelet, lots of cheese and avocado.

If you get the chance, you need to sit outside at The Breakfast Club. The inside is a little cramped, but not out of hand. We waited to have a table outside. It is worth the wait. It was really delicious with a decent sized menu. I was able to customize one of the meals to include additional ingredients. Also, my coffee cup was never empty. Also, the bathroom decor was very eclectic . Youll have to check it out. If youre in the mood for breakfast or brunch, this is the place to go!

This happy little pink cottage is a personal favorite for brunch (for obvious reasons)! Their omelette list, as well as their delicious homemade cinnamon rolls are reason enough to keep me coming back. My personal fave is the pancake sandwich, but with potato pancakes instead of regular. Delish- like a hash brown sandwich! Pro Tip: get here early on weekends so you dont have to wait. Also check out the awesome art a block away, under the metra tracks.

I have driven past this restaurant for years and never went in, however we had a client meeting here for brunch, and wow was it good. Start with the cozyness of the dining room, very relaxed. The staff was professional without being overbearing. And the food was fresh, generous servings, I had the corned beef hash yum yum yum. Ive found a new brunch spot.

Youll think you just walked into someones house because this place is actually in an old house... painted pink. Youll be cozy (practically elbow to elbow with the person next to you) while you eat. Breakfast is on par with most in the city. Nothing really stood out as fantastic, and nothing stood out as terrible. Overall a solid breakfast experience.

Order the pink awning drink! Its incredible! The blueberry pancakes were pretty good. Its in the middle of no where (hidden gem!) but its a great spot that offers both indoor and outdoor seating. Your mind cant help but run scenes from the classic movie while waiting for a table. The manager was nice but really into our conversation.

Went here for a late breakfast on Thursday when visiting Chicago. It wasnt crowded. Loved the place, friendly service, they only accept cash and u have to pay at the counter. Very tasty food but I only ate half because the portions are big. They only had plain coffee no latte, cappuccino,....

Small, nice, quaint, insert another synonym here. Food was good except for the biscuits & gravy - yellow-ish/orange-ish is not an appropriate color for sausage gravy! Plus, its 2017, accepting credit cards is preferred (so is PayPal, ApplePay and various other electronic means).

My girlfriend and I hadnt seen one another in a while. We ordered coffee and breakfast. After an hour and half we were asked to leave because there were people waiting. We politely apologized, got up, paid but noticed 2 tables open and no one waiting. I will not be back.

Good place for breakfast in our old hood. Food is always excellent, lots variety and high quality across the board, though a bit overpriced. Service is uneven, sometimes prompt and friendly, other times inattentive. Its a small place so get there early or expect to wait.

Great neighborhood breakfast spot! Food was delicious with large portions. Presentation was first class, excellent service and three of us ate for $30. American classic is $6 and my wife couldnt finish it. Highly reccomend. We will be coming back again! Cash only though.

Comfortable, clean, friendly. Food is kind of average, service is kind of slow. Bloody Mary was a bit watered down maybe? Kind of flavorless. Coffee was on the lower end of average. Salmon Benedict was lower end of average. Biscuits and gravy was the same.

Great place to have breakfast, but sometimes its a wait for a table, luckily for me, I get up early enough on a Sunday to get a table in a timely manner, egg dishes are tasty, potatoes rock, service a little slow, but worth it

I agree that this place has excellent food and I always leave satisfied. The service is extremely slow though and can be very frustrating after a long night out! I think the food is worth it though!

One of the best places in the city to grab breakfast. Food is great and priced well. Some of the best biscuits and gravy you can get, and the eggs benedicts are all excellent.

I try to make it to this place at least 2 every month. Id recommend the stuffed potato pancakes, or the gravy and biscuits. Excellent food, excellent staff.

Breakfast burrito was perfect for a hungry morning. Served with perfectly cooked sliced potatoes and wonderful marble rye toast with fresh strawberry jam.

hidden down by the rail tracks and tiny old factory buildings, this gem of home cooking serves up tasty diner style food, but in a homier atmosphere.

Any Benedict here is top notch. Sweet potato pancakes are also an unusual delight, just right the right amount of sweet and crispy goodness.
