My Chip Card wasnt working/said it was declined. (This Debit Card Machine; had fell off the register about 3 times). A lady name Pamela was dealing with my issues, being disrespectful and rude, considering I spend $500..... I suggested numerous times, to try and suspend the transaction and move to a different register, with a different card reader.. and or to speak to a manager. After about an hour and a half of waiting she finally took my advice and moved to a different register. I put my card in the other register reader; and everything went through. The way I was treated like I went shopping for the stuff and then acts like I had the money and didnt. Was very disrespectful. The other lady that was dealing with me before hand was sitting on her break, right in front of the Self check out making snide remarks, like I didnt have money. We Will never go there again! It makes me pretty upset that a $500 sale didnt mean a thing to them. Couldnt even speak to a manager. Word of mouth is the best advertisement.

I was conflicted with this one! I was so excited because I hadnt shopped at a Meijer in years due to the part of the country we now live in! I was pleased that some of the items we went in for we actually on sale and they carried items that we enjoy that Walmart doesnt carry! Employees were helpful and walked us to the items we were looking for to ensure that we found them! (I miss when more stores still did that) sounds like the perfect late night roadtrip stop, right?! Well, like every true roadtrip there must be a potty and snack stop! This was ours and it was good for the snacks, but horrible for the potty! The first bathroom we were sent to had a broken stall and the so called working pine was over flowed with human waste and bathroom tissue! Then the other bathroom (which was technically in a closed doorway because it was late at night) had blood on the handicapped stall!

I normally love shopping here until I checked out. I am a young mother and the cashier(elderly with reddish blonde hair short on her head with really thick eyeliner) asked me how old I was I told her my age and she said "what the hell were you thinking. You need to stop fooling around" she then proceeded to say things about how bad that was. She made asumtions on who I was even though we had never met. Rudest cashier Ive ever dealt with.

Terrible check out line wait times. As in I can be patient but 30-45 minutes is ridiculous. Went in on a weekend and assumed the long lines were due to it being a Saturday/Sunday. Went on a week day same problem (at self check), went a third time giving them one last shot this time trying an employee working the register same thing. I wont be returning til they decide to hire more people and treat their customers better.

Have not shopped at the brighton store for more than a year, found that check out was painful no matter what time of day. Tried again on Sunday morning at 930 found shopping convenient but again check out took longer then shopping for cart full of food. Only 2 manned checkout lanes open and only one person handling 8 so called express and self check out lanes. Stock the lanes as good as you stock the store.

I rarely am unable to find what I need here. Prices are great, and using mperks saves me some money. I have used the curbside pickup service which can be extremely helpful for those days when going shopping is just a bit too much to do on your own, ie. sicknesses, overloaded with other stuff, just dont want to deal with carts and the people who push them.

What a strange night to run into Meijer for a few things. Some guy walking around with no shoes on, only u-scan open with just one worker servicing 10+ registers, and 4 employees talking for far too long while several customers needed help at their registers, ourselves includes. Going to stick with Kroger, Target, and the Hartland Meijer.

Went to the local Meijer, just to pick a few things and while I was shopping an employee WHO WAS OFF THE CLOCK, noticed me in search for an item, took time out of his night while he was doing his own shopping to show me where the item was, that is customer service. Kevin, the employee deserves a raise if not more. Outstanding individual.

I had a good experience with an employee in the electronics department. I was looking for a part and they happened to not have it. This employee went out of his way to research where I could find it. Thats good service and showing that you care. Its not everyday that you come across a grocery store employee like that. Well done sir!

Its convenient and open all the time. Employees are friendly and its usually very clean. The deli should slice meat earlier though. Theyre in there early the people just wont slice for customers until 7. It would be helpful for the large assembly plant down the street to be able to by fresh meat for lunch in the morning.

It is the most inconvenient store, the return bottle area is far away from the shopping area and they never have more than 1-3 machines working. The check out lanes are extremely long and slow, even in the middle of the day. Driving the extra couple to miles to the Howell Meijers is a time saver.

Get this store front, and parking lot updated. Along with paying the cashiers more so they will get better employees and more dedicated. This Meijer is not as nice as all the other ones and does not have a Huntington Bank in it. Prices are great on food/produce so we continue to shop there.

Cashiers are consistently pleasant, and product selection is good. Compared to other Meijer locations as well as other stores, I have experienced a lack of consideration for customers while associates stocked the floor. Aisles have been blocked on a busy Saturday afternoon.

Extremely slow service, everything seems to move at a snails pace here. Redeeming quality - the store is very clean. That should be a given though & doesnt translate to a positive review when the customer service desk runs the way it does here.

Meijer is my first choice for groceries. Better selection and pricing. Plus for a small fee I can use Curbside. I dont even have to go in anymore! I do all my shopping online and pick it up the day and time of my choosing!

I can usually find what I am looking for, but when I cant, the staff does not seem to be anywhere around. The self scanners are horrible here and will take longer to check out than going through a regular register.

Has everything you would expect from Meijer. Produce selection is usually pretty good and prices are cheaper than Kroger. I do like to buy cheap jeans from there. Bathrooms can usually use some help though.

Store was out of order. Shelves were not stocked. I asked for help at the jewelry counter and was treated like I was interrupting staff social time. Will not return. I will go to Zeeb rd Meijer instead.

Love Meijer to death but sometimes check out lines can be rough. Try their online order and curbside pick up. You can avoid the big lines and pay ford everything from home. Pickup is just as easy.
