Was there with 3 other people who actually ordered a meal and I only wanted dessert which was a brownie and ice cream with hot chocolate fudge. Presentation of dish was horrible which should have been sign to leave. When I touch the fudge it was cold and no way had it been warmed so I sent it back and cancelled order. Someone else order fish with mash potatoes with gravy on side. Potatoes were cold so she ask for more in which she had already started eating her fish but not potatoes. The waitress saw her eating her fish and told her she needed to take the whole plate back. She responded well Im eating my fish can you just bring Potatoes and she responded no I have to first take those back. She ask waitress are you replacing my fish too and the waitress responded she was not and still refused to bring another plate of potatoes until other plate was returned which didnt make since. The fish ended Up being put on a side plate she had and potatoes returned half way through her eaten fish. To make a longer story even shorten the manager was summoned and concerned voiced without any real resolved. $3.00 was taken off of meal without (which the person suggested something be taken off and manager wanted to take $1.00) no resolved to bad dessert that was returned. Not even would you like anything else. Will not visit this establishment again.

Family orders simple meal. While waiting for food we discovered DIRTY SILVERWARE. Requested 2 mugs of hot water to sterilize them. By then, ORDER COMES BACK WRONG except for a couple dishes. Waitress assures us that the mixup can be corrected. Food COMES BACK WITH HAIR IN IT. We sent that dish back and decided to just finish up what was there until we noticed MORE HAIR IN ANOTHER DISH. The manager is then notified and replies, "my cooks all have blond hair", "we hadnt had this issue today and I dont know whats going on now." Regardless of the matter, the hair certainly didnt match any of ours and was exact to the hair in the last dish. So in all, with dirty dishes, unprofessional service, disgusting food with hair in it and a careless manager, I paid for the portion of the meal that was correct when I shouldve refused. My family and I frequent this place too much to receive mediocre service like this. Something has to be done and changes need to be made quickly. **I would not recommend anyone to eat in this restaurant. -Highly unsatisfied consumer

Never have I been to a restaurant and felt so uncomfortable through my whole meal. We were seated in a booth and right next to us I immediately noticed, what look liked, a off duty waitress counting her tips while sitting in the booth with another on duty employee. They were both drinking coffee. Short while later another employee, what I think was a manager, sat in another booth across from them that was dirty since a customer had just left. He sa doen with his own cup of coffee and tthey sat there and continued to talk about their shifts and etc. It was so inappropriate and uncomfortable for us. Then the other manager walked over telling them what had to be cleaned tomorrow bc there were fruit flies!! Horrible! Our food was cooked very well and tasted delicious, that is the only thing that saved this visit. So disappointed in the unprofessional conduct that happened by so many grown adults.

My whole family became sick because of the salad bar!!!! My husband purchased the chicken fried steak he is was ok. But i went to get some of the beef veggie soup and it looked so disgusting because of the very nasty film on top. So i decided to stir it and underneath the film it looked like vomit. I completely lost my appetite!!! The salad looked good but the tomatoes were on the edge of being rotten. My mother and i ate the salad and both came home and became very sick!!! It was sooo bad that i didnt eat much at all. The worse thing is we paid over forty dollars to eat!! For what rotten food!!! Gross!!! I am never ordering the salad bar again!!!!!

Had a terrible experience...even though our server was great, we were unsatisfied with our food. The breakfast food portions were like something from the kids menu even though paying Full price. We called and tried to talk to the manager, Dave and he could care less. He had a bad attitude and clearly doesnt try to make the customers happy. He wasnt even trying to accommodate our bad experience. He was a jerk. We will never eat here again and Im telling everybody I know, never to eat here also. We spent over $30 and did not get full with such little food. You should not leave a restaurant still hungry. Ugh...waste of money!

Ill be honest the food here is not the same as when I remember growing up. The onion rings are no longer hand cut and the burgers are not the same as I remember. I had dinner here this evening, and Ill tell you that even though the food can be lacking, the wait staff sure as heck makes up for it. Got a hot fudge cake for dessert, and me and the waitress where joking because it looked exactly like the picture on the menu. Ill be back, miss the old style onion rings

We had Dustin as a waiter and he was amazing! Very friendly, he made us feel like family. He was attentive and made sure our orders were correct, he went out of the way and checked ingredients for us. (I am vegan) Food was fast and the presentation was beautiful. Dustin did a great job! Our food was just as wonderful as our service.

waited 10 minutes to be seated. took waitress another 7 minutes to bring menu. another 8 to take my order and another 9 minutes to put order in. waited 30 minutes for food to be delivered. ordered my burger medium rare it was still bleeding when delivered. worst big boy i have ever been to and will never go back.

When I last went, there werent many customers. You would think the service would be prompt, but it wasnt. Our waitress had good intentions, but she forgot to bring us things we had asked for. The food was good, as usual, however. The ketchup bottles should be replaced a little more often, also.

Big Boy restaurants are a classic. Its such a shame to see them decline. This restaurant is particularly outdated. The ladies room is just flat out gross. The wait staff are friendly, which is good. I want to see Big Boy come back to life.

My uncle lives around the corner from this restaurant. Every time we visited we would eat at Big Boy. I still think the Big Boy burger is my favorite. I just wish we still had them here in Salt Lake.

Date of service: 3/24/17... Time: about 1:45... Cant go wrong, awesome Super Big Boy... Try it "Ohio Style", which is tarter instead, its awesome!!! Great friendly staff too! Give this place 10 stars

A decent place, but it really needs to be updated. The interior looks old and tired. The food is reasonable good. This Big Boy has been in the neighborhood for years and has a loyal customer base.

Somehow, we always seem to forget this place when trying to figure out where to eat. Were always pleasantly surprised and they still have all the old Big Boy items on the menu.
