How this place got such high ratings is beyond me! The food is ok but average at best. I went with 8 other people and we all agreed that the ramen was not given enough ingredients as listed on the menu. All soup base and noodles and hardly any of the main items needed to make a good ramen. I ordered a spicy seafood ramen and received hardly any seafood! The same for my friends! They also have Chinese food but we didnt order any. I saw a few other people eating it so it might be better than the Ramen. Ironically the place is named USHIOS RAMEN HOUSE not anything related to Chinese food! So, how they got such a high rating is beyond my comprehension!!!

Average ramen at best. The broth didnt have enough flavor, my husband couldnt eat the meat because it was not good, and I thought the noodles were average. I went to another ramen place the other day and they were delicious, this one was disappointing in comparison. I do have to say their chicken fried rice was delicious though, but that was from the Chinese menu. Their name had ramen house in it so I was expecting it to be good ramen but was disappointed; it seemed to me their Chinese food is what is best.

Im always a little nervous when an Asian restaurant offers food from more than one culture in the region, but there was nothing to worry about at Ushio Ramen House. The ramen was hot, flavorful, and authentic, exactly what I needed after a spirited night of drinks for St. Patricks Day. Green tea was served in a cast iron pot, like you would get it in Japan. All told, great product at very reasonable prices. I will return!

What hasnt been said? The food was super fresh, the noodles perfect, the slices of pork were thin and not too fatty, there were plentiful fish cakes; I had the Shoyu Ramen Deluxe. It wasnt expensive. The chef was very sweet. One of the best ramen houses outside of SF for me. Coco was our waitress—super helpful and kind! A great place to eat in Stockton! The presentation was beautiful.

Very clean inside, and the service is very polite and friendly. The food was absolutely amazing! Im going back again as soon as I can. I went with my best friend and we ordered the Fried Wontons, Chicken Fried Rice, Tonkatsu&Rice, and the Tonkatsu Miso Ramen. We highly recommend the Wontons and Fried Rice. Im pretty sure those were the best Wontons Ive ever had in my life.

Ive was told about this place from alot of people saying that this is the spot for ramen. And yeah they were right. The food is great even had fried rice Awesome! The shrimp is very good. And of course I got the Spicy Beef ramen....yup! Awesome tasty and just on that point of how it should be! Will be coming back again!

Great, spicy but manageable heat for their Ramen. Their chicken kaarage is fantastic, and it comes on the Ramen. You can customize your Ramen, too, so it works for vegetarians and meat eaters. They are really friendly, and even provided an extra bowl for our young daughter to share- no extra charge.

Service was good, but it wasnt really busy at the time. Both the ramen and fried rice were pretty good! Some may think the fried rice is too salty though. And about the ramen, I ordered #4 on the menu.
