My office had a carryout order today. We had several orders, and almost everyone was very satisfied with the food. Two of us, however, ordered the Taco Loco salad, and we were both extremely disappointed. The description on the menu of this item did not match what we got at all. The menu states: "Beef, chicken, beans, lettuce, sour cream and cheese. Served in a baked shell and topped with tomatoes and nacho cheese." Nacho cheese? Not exactly. This is highly misleading, as one would expect a creamy, yellow cheese that is typically found on nachos. This item had shredded white cheese. It was good-- just not nacho cheese, which we were expecting. Also, we both asked for no tomatoes. Come to find out, the chicken appeared to be cooked with tomatoes in with it, so we were disappointed to find tomatoes IN with the meal. Also, the chicken was cooked with some kind of pepper, which is VERY upsetting. Peppers are not the type of ingredient that can just be left unsaid. People have allergies and picky tastes. I would have steered clear of this item had I known that peppers were in it, as I am unable to eat peppers due to a stomach condition. Basically, the food was good, it tasted good and was prepared well. The menu, however, needs to clearly list all of the ingredients, so that picky or allergic customers are not left hungry and $8 in the hole.

Up until today this was a 5 star authentic Mexican food place. Ive been going here for years. I make it at least once a month sometimes more if I do a take out. I loved this place and will actually miss the food immensely. Today I took my 24 year old out for her birthday, we ordered jumbo Margaritas and our food. The waiter brought our drinks and he spilled a whole jumbo Margarita on me . I was soaked, shirt pants everything. Not a big deal accidents happen. Ive never been in here without leaving at least a $10.00 tip no matter if I order just beans and rice takeout for my other daughter. Anyway he brought another drink to replace the one he spilled and our food. When I got the bill and seen that he didnt even discount 5% at least, needless to say I was a little peeved but I figured maybe hell say something when I pay. I went up paid the bill which was $46.86. He gave me my change of $13.14, I asked for 2 fives for the 10, handed him a 5 for a tip told him that this was my favorite restraunt and because he never offered a discount for soaking me with a drink I would never be back. What happened to customer service. I always tip and almost always tip well because Ive been a waitress before. I would have been mortified by not giving a discount or at least the freaking drink for free. Dont go here

I usually love this place, but I just went in for dinner and there is a literal hole in the ceiling. I was seated at a table RIGHT NEXT TO IT and over the course of my meal watched a leak go from an occasional drip to actually raining in the restaurant. Also watched waiters walk under it without acknowledging it. Shocked, I said something to the hostess while paying the bill. She said, its okay, someone is coming tomorrow to fix it...then comped me 10% "for my trouble"...the whole restaurant is carpet and theyre just letting water dump in?! Absolutely bizarre.

Azteca is one of our favorites (Fraser location) in the Detroit area. Kitchen and staff are from Guadalajara, MX area and food is authentic. We spend a portion of the year in Mexico and this is the real stuff. We especially enjoy the molcajete, a steak, chicken, pork and shrimp dish with onions, chiles and tortillas served in a granite stone bowl to retain the heat. Also try the many fish taco dinners from various Mexican regions. Yes, they also serve the typical stuff Americans know, but they have so many authentic regional dishes you will love, too.

I was not very happy with the food. Staff was kind and professional but the food was not very good and didnt fit description on the menue. The Beef has a funny tast. And the chemchunga meal was a little pricy for the small serving size as well. I could have gotten two meals at a restaurant in S.W Detroit (mexican town) for the price i paid for my one meal here. And it would have been tastier and larger servings. Definitely not some where i would go for that mexican town tast!. Its worth the drive to S.W Detroit.

First, I went through 3 sets of silverware before I got a clean set. Second, our waitress was horrible. She had no care to check on any of her tables, (sat for over 10 minutes waiting for her to check "how or food was" before I gave up to go get a clean set of silverware) Third the food was just nasty. and inedible. The steak was all fat, and what wasnt was gritty. You are better off going else where, I suggest El Cozmel.. never a bad experience there..

Great mexican food every time. Ive tried many dishes from fajitas to enchiladas and im happy with it all. Most recently i had the enchiladas poblano. It has like a dark gravy sauce to it which it enjoyed. The portion size was more than enough to have for seconds the next day. They have great margaritas too. Sometimes they have specials on them and there large. Service was good.

Big beers and good food, need I say more? I dont but I will, service is always friendly, and energetic. Its not on the menu very much, but the carnitas (seasoned pulled pork) are great. Try them in a California burrito, amazing! And the molcajete is one of thier best dishes. And dont forget the dessert, the fried cheesecake is on point!

Ive been thinking about taking the family to your place to eat. On my way home I noticed the parking lot was totally packed with cars. I am definitely stopping by tonight.... For someplace to be so packed so close to home of my family favorite kind of food Im definitely bringing the family. See you tonight or maybe even this afternoon

What a pleasant dining experience. We had a great time in a lovely atmosphere. The bread is phenomenal, I had Chicken Shwarma?, and it was very tasty. The staff was very pleasant and the decor seems to lend to a very relaxing environment. Everyone was very happy with their meals and the cost was reasonable. Great Mediterranean food.

Always good, the waiters are great, most of the waitresses too. The food never ever disappoints! Other locations have had bad reviews, but I have always loved the location in Fraser. I eat here at least twice a month. Hands down my favorite mexican restaurant and the menu is HUGE! Get the molcajete, amazing and enough for 2 meals!

I was very disappointed with the price I had to pay, for the small portions of some of the food items, and I ordered the taco salad, with beef tips, there was very little meat in it. The best items, was the chips and salsa, and the fried ice cream. Needless to say, I will not be visiting there very soon again.

While I may be spoiled living near Mexican town, the food here was not good. Not good at all. For 2 plates of 2 tacos and rice, the bill was over 40 dollars for dinner, and the ground beef inside was far from tasty. I definitely will not be going here again and would suggest looking elsewhere for your tacos.
