The waitstaff were exuberant. Their enthusiasm was largely wasted on the product. The food was largely a disappointment.. The positives were the crab wontons -- fantastic, as was the fried eggplant. The hot and sour soup was both, but too thick and the sour preponderant. The fried rice was undercooked -- quite literally, crunchy. Five, tailed shrimp graced the honey-walnut-shrimp salad. The gravy for the ABC was not typical, no doubt, prerogative, but poorly received. The pork in the sweet and sour pork was tough. However, the most egregious representation stands on the wontons -- described as vegetable stuffed: These were a sprig of broccoli wrapped by a wonton and -- thankfully not fried, but steamed -- set into a stew of overbearing sauce. The sidecar was decently made, if lacking for cognac, as the norm -- but all were left disappointed and several still hungry, ruefully wanting lemon chicken and an eggroll from the shadowed ghost of Chungs across the street.

I went here for Valentines day. The hostess was super helpful when I asked to change my reservation for a half hour later. I had a cocktail that was a valentines special, it was decorated with a sprig of babys breath flowers clipped onto the rim of the glass by a miniature wooden clothespin, and it tasted even better than it looked. I wish they had slightly more vegan entree options, but there are about 4 or 5 things on the menu besides salad. I chose 2 small plates to have as my entree. The wontons tasted delicious, but were a bit spicy for my taste, I had a size of jasmine rice to counteract the heat. The vegetable rolls were delicious. They can also do fried rice as a vegan entree if you ask for no egg.

The food was excellent without exception. Even my wifes almond chicken, which I consider Chinese food for people who dont like Chinese food, she said was the best shes had in a long time. The pork belly appetizer was just wonderful and Im not a big pork fan. The service was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. A couple of minor quibbles stop me from giving it 5 stars. I like my water cold, not room temperature... perhaps thats just me. They should invest in some more comfortable stools, though, or replace them with chairs. The wobbly wooden ones leave much to be desired. But a thoroughly enjoyable experience and meal, otherwise. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

The atmosphere was really cool and chic and the staff were friendly and attentive. We ordered the Mapo Tofu and the Hong Kong Chow Mein. The tofu was really well seasoned and had a nice spice, however it was quite small of a portion and very salty. The Chow Mein was also a small portion and had almost no sauce on it. When it was served the waitress told us it would probably need to be cut with a knife. Proper Chow Mein should come apart with just chopsticks. Overall Id say it was alright. But I am more likely to stick to places in Windsor to get my fix of authentic Chinese cuisine.

Simply, Great tasting food! I had the General Tso Brussle sprouts. It came with mouth watering crispy sprouts with added beautiful flavours of general Tso. It was a medley of amazing things. In the Entree, the Eggplant with black bean sauce was something I havent had before. Mild in taste and yet with tantalizing flavours. Cocktails were very good indeed. Staff were friendly and the ambience was great. It was a great experience overall!

The chicken was dry. Like the dessert, which was also dry. Cake should be moist. The table was wet when I sat down. The tablecloth was loud, it took away from the ambience. The ambience was nice, but I couldnt enjoy it because the corn in my salad was too big and a lot of it got stuck in my teeth. I feel like theyre trying to be something theyre not. If they lowered their prices 50% wed be half way there.

I purchased the cheeseburger egg rolls and the flan and was extremely disappointed my wasnt filled properly it which you will see in the pictures and I paid 8.00+ for a flan that was a little bigger than a quarter and the flavoring didnt beat one I could purchase from Mexican town for $6.00. Quite disappointed! Would come back to the restaurant to complain if I didnt think it would make me late for class

Only had a quick bit to eat and a drink but I was much impressed! Cheeseburger spring roll is the only thing you need to know about this place! Order 20 of them! Haha. Yeah they are good! *Edit* 6-6-17 Cheeseburger spring roll is still amazing! Added the Thai old fashion to my check list of wonderful drinks. Very friendly staff.

What a cool place. Straight away youll be wowed by the stylish interior that has a look all its own. The food is an incredibly interesting mix of east meets west and there isnt a stinker on the menu. Super interesting cocktails and amazing service. My only issue is the pricing seems a bit out of line, but only just.

This is a really cool place with good vibes. I sat at the bar for dinner and cocktails my first visit. Drinks were good but the food was surprisingly bland. And for what they charge youd expect an amazing dining experience. The drinks may lure me back but the food definitely wont.

This is a place I intend to go back to over and over again. I am excited to see what kind of wacky Asian fusion variations they will be able to come up with. The seaweed salad is recommended. It has the most peculiar texture and mouth feel.

The staff was excellent. The food, however well seasoned, was totally overpowered by the salt. I dont know if Ive ever had such a salty dish in my life. Between the excess salt and the high prices, I dont think Ill be back anytime soon.

Server made great food n beverage recommendations, lots of free very accessible parking, very chic dining atmosphere, craft beer was perfect, and ... wait for it ... the three small plates and one large plate for two of was spectacular.

Excellent, unique Chinese food. Obviously the name is confusing, not sounding like a traditional Chinese restaurant, but maybe thats the point, its not traditional. Bonus, you can walk to Plato One, without leaving the building!

Not much value in the Almond Boneless Chicken. Others had better experiences with the noodle dishes. The desserts are weirdly in the alcohol menu apparently. Cant recommend coming as a large group as they dont split checks.

Food was excellent. Each dish used fresh, healthy ingredients! Wonderful service & decor. (Id recommend some sound absorbing material inside. It is difficult to hear others at your table if group is larger then four.)

Same bar pedigree as sugar hose, so the cocktails are great, but the cheeseburger egg rolls are only okay. I mean theyre always delicious, but theyre never as good as the first time you bit into one.

Food was really good but overpriced for what you get. I would recommend trying almond chicken. Nice bar with good drinks friendly bartenders. Nice addition to the Detroit food scene
