There is nothing authentic about this food. It is an insult to Mexican cuisine. Taco Bell and Del Taco have much higher quality ingredients than this restaurant. You get better flavor from those 89¢ burritos sold in the grocery stores freezer case than you do here. Skimpy portions, tough tortillas, dried out, lackluster chicken, and much better beans are served straight from the can than they are here. The guacamole was oxidizing (starting to brown). And everything was covered with an Alfredo like, not con queso sauce or shreds or cheese... There was no differentiation from one item or dish to the next. Our food came to us way too quickly. Translation: not freshly prepared, thrown together. Temp was warm at best. Flavor: lacking. Salsa: watered down. Chips: thick and hard. Considering portion, did quality, and overall taste, this restaurant is insufferable overpriced. Save your money and time, go elsewhere or make Mexican at home. Im totally amazed at all of the people who gave this place good reviews, ranting and raving about how wonderful it is... Must be related or paid to tell such lies. Note to self: Dont trust Yelpers. Ive been trying to find restaurants in my area. Amazing experience. By far the best Mexican food Ive ever had. The two people who rated this poorly did so out of social reasons. The one guy with the hard-on for Google only gave good ratings to extremely pricey or hipsterish locations on his profile (how fing pretentious). The second fool must just be used to low quality food if they believe taco bell or del taco is consumable. But yeah if you can tell good Mexican food and youre not a product of a crap environment or social fad then youll most likely enjoy this place, a lot.

I was at your M-59 restaurant this past Friday night. I have the worst service that I have ever had at Grand Asteca. I have been going to your restaurants for the past 7 years and never had a bad experience until Friday. I will never go to your M 59 location ever again. I usually go to your Groesbeck location. If it wasnt for all the good experiences at your Frasier, I would never return. If I have anymore bad experiences, I will never return to ant Grand Azteca restaurants.

The food and service is always great here. The servers are very courteous and the food comes out quite fast. I knocked off one star because the bathrooms were pretty gross. No soap in the dispenser, no paper towels in the dispenser (also no air dryer), the toilets hadnt been cleaned in quite awhile either. I love eating here but the cleanliness of the bathrooms makes me wonder about what their kitchen looks like.

Ordered a taco salad with the grilled chicken, he told me that was fine. I went to pick up and she said cant have it that way.. only with shredded chicken so they gave us the fajita taco salad.. barely any lettuce or chicken.. was more like a soup in a shell.. very disappointed for a $10 salad. Girl at front counter was very snippy about it all as well.. My co-worker and I are not impressed with this slop.

we decided to try something different at work today. so we got some carryout from this place. food was very bland and over priced for their small portions I got a lunch order for almost 9 bucks. it included a very small chimichanga some beans and lettuce and tomatoes. 9 bucks later still hungry.

Went to dinner with husband and 1.5 yr old (rare occasion indeed)Food was fantastic love the fried ice cream! The server friendly and helpful with menu descriptions. Drinks cold. Family friendly didnt even blink when child got antsy! Highly recommend this is a great chain of restaurants!

Food was ok but we ordered two 27 oz margaritas and they were weak to were you could only taste the mixture not the taqulia then we asked for a little bit more taqulia then they charged us for the two shots. But they eventually rectified the situation upon talking to management

The food is very poor, it tastes comparable to Taco Bell. Ive given their menu a few tries but every time I end up leaving disappointed. They do have cheap lunch specials which makes it okay but paying $11 for small portions of untasty food is not worth while.

Came to see a show at the Showroom. Parking - valet or self-park, its the same price $5. We had to park towards the other end of the lot. The good thing about self-park is that we didnt have to wait for the valet after the show and were able to leave right away.

First time ordering carry out from here. The foods tasted great, just like authentic Mexican town! Staff was very helpful. I ordered over the phone and picked up my order right before closing which is probably why my food was cold. (I only live 5 mins away)

Had a great lunch here to celebrate the last day of work for a fellow co-op. Quality is consistent with their other locations, and we even got the lunch specials at a discount. The salsa and queso blanco are as good as ever. Highly recommended!

Friendly and helpful staff. Food cant be beat! Large portions and delicious. Taco salad was slightly smaller than expected but was very filling. Excellent margarita specials too. Food came quickly and overall inexpensive.

Perfect place for quick afternoon meal. They have rotating lunch specials that are usually around $5. Your typical beans, rice, enchiladas or tacos with wet burrito. Service has always been good too.
