I was taking my mother to DaFrancescos for her 84th birthday for the Pasta Fruitti di Mare Jumbo shrimp, scallops, calamari, clams sautéed in marinara sauce tossed w/ fettuccini pasta 18.95. We had it as a carry out from a relative a few weeks ago and it was wonderful!! We arrived, DaFrancescos was closed for vacation/moving. We had never been to DiFratellis but know that it has been there for years. So we thought, it must be good, lets try it. There was a birthday party in the dining room, it was very loud. We ordered the Fettuccine Seafood Marinara—Shrimp, Scallops, Calamari & Mussels w/ Zesty Marinara Sauce. $ 21.49 minus the mussels and a Calzone $9.29 (well done). The plates came and the Seafood Fettuccine did not even look appetizing. It was a very generous portion of pasta but my mom didnt see much seafood so she started moving the pasta around looking for it... not much luck. She found 2 shrimp and some very tiny pieces of squid. I was shocked, I started to look for more with my fork. Seriously! $22 for box pasta and 2 shrimp.... oh, I found 1 more... 3 shrimp! And a few pieces of squid. I wish I had a picture. We were both so disappointed and upset, my mother didnt even taste it. I set the plate aside and we split some of my calzone (it was not well done, as requested) but good. The waitress was very busy but pleasant and did resolve the issue. I see some reviewers commented on the décor. This was my first visit so am not sure how old or new the current décor is. If you are Italian, (or 1st or 2nd generation), and/or if you have been to Italy you can understand and relate to the way it is decorated. As long as the entire restaurant is clean, who cares. If we give DiFratellis a second try we will stick with the calzone or pizza.

Horrible experience. Our waitress was a B****, tall, curly hair with glasses. Never checked on us, only when she saw us looking pissed. People coming and going. Food took literally took an hour. AN HOUR with only 2-3 other tables occupied! The ONLY thing that redeemed ANYTHING was the kind owner who comped our dinner after we were fed up and complained! Food is ok, they use tomatoes that taste canned! NOT worth the trouble. Not to mention, my husband heard the waitress making comments about us when we never bitched at her directly, which she would have deserved! Would never go back and never reccomend.

Went yesterday to try and have a nice dinner...what I thought was, ended up being a horrible experience. I found a piece of glass in my soup. I told the waiter and the owner came over and said it wasnt glass that it was an eggshell! Ummmm.... Im not that stupid! I bit down on the glass! It wasnt eggshell!!!! I never even got an apology... I know the difference between glass and eggshell. The owner should have offered me a compensation of something!? But NOTHING! I WONT GO BACK AGAIN... So if you dare to eat here....beware!

Huge portions, so overall value is good. Annoying that you can't use a coupon on carry outs even though it doesn't state that anywhere on the coupon or their website and the person checking me out even said they should have that written somewhere.
Sauce is...okay. I think they try to appease a more American crowd since they put cups of sauce on their pasta dishes which is not the Italian way. Way too much. Gnocchi were very heavy.
I doubt we'll go back. It was just okay.

The food is amazing! small and intimate setting. The cooks always walk around and ask how your meal is. 90% of their pasta and other dishes are made from scratch in house. Wine list is good. Would highly recommend the Minestrone Soup, Gnocchi w/Palamino Sauce and the Spaghetti Carbonara. If Im craving Italian and looking to spend 30-40 on dinner for two this is where I go!

The food was delicious! I had the chicken marsala, soup and bruschetta. They originally forgot the bruschetta and called me back to admit they made a mistake. They let me come pick it back up and offered me a drink while waiting. I cant decided whether I like the food or the staff better!!

Great food, great prices, always have some left for the next days lunch. Wine is priced very reasonably. Nice staff, owner comes around when he can get out of the kitchen to ask people how things are. Décor is quaint, could use a little updating, but very clean! My favorite!

We chose this restaurant to host our wedoing rehearsal dinner for 20 people and could not be more pleased. Our servers were fun, and kept up with everyones needs. The food is incredible & portions are extremely generous. Would highly recommend!

Excellent every time. Hard to pick a dish there are so many good ones on the menu. Great value. Wait staff is attentive and Joe the chef is always walking around to make sure the food is good! We Will come back!

A great place to eat Italian foods wine prices are right the food is excellent and the service for us is always been outstanding. If you like a variety try the Angel Hair Bianco sometime.
