This place is a bit of a paradox. Its walking convenient to anything in downtown Shelbyville, and walking is best since parking is limited to street parking. No meters, thankfully. Its an old storefront, and the first few feet have been converted to a sidewalk cafe, without actually putting you out in the traffic. Inside,the ambiance is Southern Mom and Pop, noisy at lunch with lots of friends calling out greetings. Wait staff is quick, friendly, and attentive. Food is not fast, because they cook nothing until you order it. The fare is country Italian, and done as well as you will find anywhere outside of Italy. I had lasagna, which is my favorite benchmark, cheese pizza, fresh bread, and sweet tea. Everything came out hot enough that there was no question about when it was cooked. Ouch! But so very good, including the tea. A great experience, moderate price, and worth a drive. Cant wait to visit again.

Probably the best New York Style Pizza in Shelbyville. I havent sampled everything from their menu but the items Ive had Ive liked. Its conveniently located in the town square nearly right across the street from the Capri Theater, so its great if you want to catch a quick bite before your movie. However, I prefer it for take out as the atmosphere and ambiance leave a lot to be desired, but the friendly service and good value certainly help.

just two of us. We timed how long it would take to get our food because we had to wait to be seated with tables open. Took over an hour to get our food and it seemed like it was microwaved and not or together well at all. The waitress kept making excuses about how we were behind a big table that already had their food long before ours. This is the second time this has happened to us. Just completely disappointing and not worth the second try.

I have lived in California for 22 years born and raised I moved out here to TN in 2014 and been here since, this place is just amazing!! The food is sooo good! My husband and I love coming here all the time the staff makes us feel like family their all so welcoming kind and prosessional their quick to our table and get us anything we need keep up the awesome jobs yall are great!:)

A family favorite. Convienant for carry out. Since its so popular ( and small) that seating can sometimes be an issue with a family of 6. Great pizza, pasta and the Salads are fantastic and fresh! Staff is amazing and curtious. Sometimes the wait is a bit but its always fresh hot food made to order :)

Their pizzas are phenominal and for a little different taste treat, I like the bow-tie pasta and the lasagna!! Prices are a little more than moderate but considering the quality of the food well worth it. Seating is somewhat limited so I mostly do carry-out. Great place for pizza!!

Absolutely love the food here! There is not a single thing we have tried that I dont love so far. Service is good. If your in a hurry, this is the wrong place to be. It is very laid back and takes some time. But it is 100% worth it!
