We have been coming to Grassfields for years now. The quality of the food had never changed and has ALWAYS been absolutely delicious. This past time my fiance for an aged steak and it was so delicious... It literally melted in your mouth when eating it. The scallops have always been a favorite of mine and the steak tips are great too! The waitresses were very nice too. The only thing is this past time a woman who I believed was the manager who was helping the front staff was pretty annoying and rude. First we couldnt book reservations for a 13 plus person party which was fine because I know most places dont but when we got there and had been waiting for over an hour the woman told us if our entire party wasnt there then she would give our table away and we would not be seated ..... Anyways other than that I will always return back there.

Consistently good. Caters to an older crowd. Does not take reservations so there can be a wait. If you go late, lets say 8:00, there will be no problem since the regular clientele is in bed. The menu is not large but everything is fresh and well made. I particularly like the coconut shrimp and stuffed mushroom appetizers. Great entrees include steak tips and teriyaki chicken. They sell a lot of scrod, so its very fresh. Not a lot of vegetarian selections but the Mediterranean salad is delicious.

Even though we stay in the same neighborhood for last 4 years, we have never been to Grassfield earlier. We were pretty surprised by the quality of food here. We ordered the ultimate jumbo margarita, allagash beer, roasted rack of lamb and thunderbird chicken burger. The complimentary bread and butter were good, I loved the margarita and the lamb was well cooked and very tasty. My husband loved the burger as well; he said it was spicy but tasty. We are going back there soon.

Always excellent food, service. Our favorite is salmon with their special rice (spinach,butter and white rice). Steak, scallops , fish and seasonal special salads. Save room for coffee & dessert. Their puddings are very good and ask for the daily special. Lunch menu until 3:30, then goes to dinner menu. Sunday = no lunch menu.. just dinner (more $ and bigger portions). If you cant finish and taking home, we always get rice order to go also. Check online menu.

Place is outstanding. Lunch menu was amazing. Ordered the teriyaki steak tips and deep sea scallops in a sherry sauce. Out of the world. Steak was cooked perfect, juicy and tender. Scallops were mind blowing. Got the roasted butternut squash as a side, also out of this world. Price for all of this deliciousness was only $13.99. Great service as well. I try to get out to this place for lunch a couple times a month.

My husband and I visited Grassfields on a Saturday night. The resturant was very busy (over an hour wait), but it was definetely worth the wait! The food and service was top notch. I ordered the surf and turf with the broiled scallops and my husband ordered the same with the lobster pie. The total bill with drinks and desert was under $60.00. Cant beat that! Will be returning very soon!

I have never been to the Grassfileds in Danvers.. However, I have been to the one in Andover and the food and service is always great. The crabmeat pie is delicious and their frozen strawberry amigos margaritas is really good and only about $6 (if i remember correctly). This restaurant is reasonably priced! Great atmosphere. The wait is sometimes close to 30 minutes, but is so WORTH the wait.

Food is and always was consistently good. Cocktails gone way downhill. Had the worst Sangria tonight ever. Watered down,red color but tasted like weak pineapple juice. No fruit in it and served in the smallest glass. Looked like something an ice cream sundae would be served in. Terribly disappointed. I make my own all the time and its 20X better.

They serve a small loaf of hot bread. The cocktails are well thought out, and well mixed. The have a series of surf and turf combos that are all wonderful Their rice/spinach dish, and the mediterranean salad are both excellent menu choices. You cannot eat there only once...Youll be back over and over.

After a long day of classes, far from home I stumbled into greenfields. Flogging Molly Played softly in the background as my pre steak scotch arrived. The steak was a great cut...cooked perfectly, and the staff were all very friendly every time Ive visited.

I went 3 years ago and as of then, no childrens menu was available. The prices were extremely high and the staff were snobby. Also, the water they used tap water that tastes like crap.
