I ordered a pizza for delivery. They took two hours!!!!! Their excuse? The delivery guy came to my community (its gated) and there a security on site, so all he had to do was let him know and he wouldve let him in! Duh! The delivery guy claims he couldnt enter the property. Why not call us? So we were aware and let you in?! Finally they send another delivery this time its a lady. Shes unbeknownst to the situation, but I let her know that the pizza is brick cold. Obviously not her fault. So we call the place to let them know were not happy at all with the service. They leave us on hold for 5 five minutes. Then the manager calls us back and I explained the situation. His response was well well give you a refund if you return the pizza! Are you kidding me? Like its our fault you hire incompetent people to deliver your product? That manager had no kind of customer service what so ever! I will never go or recommend this place to anyone. Get it together.

I read some comments before visiting this place, and they were right about one thing: the service is not great. However, it did not phase me. As a Chicagoan this pizza did not impress me. Ive realized the difference of the New York slice, its thin and unfulfilling. I prefer a slice with a thick base, and covered in authentic mozzarella cheese. Again, this is not the place for that. I cant blame them for giving me what I thought would be amazing. Its really like a whole in the wall type of eatery. The decor suggest they are a classic, and refuse to change. Would I visit again, sure! When youre drunk what better to prevent a hang over than "grease".

New Yorker who knows his pizza and this pizza is very good for Florida (some days better than others though, I guess it depends whos making it that day). Oversized slices for $2.75 is a steal. Atmosphere could be drastically improved, but that is clearly part of its "charm." The employees and pizza makers are not rude, but sometimes are short. However, once you show your face a few times, you get along just fine. Would love to see this place get an overhaul - it could really do so well and has a lot of potential and room for growth.

GIANT PIZZA - the biggest pizza I know of in South Florida. The sauce is good and the cheese is good too. This is very excellent pizza. Ive been coming here for a very long time, wow - a decade now. I remember asking my friend "Where can I get the biggest pizza possible?" He directed me to Mauros. Its not just good because its big though, its very tasty too. These are great pizzas to order for kids parties or any party for that matter because your guests will be talking about it for a long time.

Great Pizza. Horrible Customer Service. I was trying to catch a bus at 11:35a.m. To bring my Father a slice of pizza at the hospital where he just had open heart surgery. Mauros opens at 11, i got there early & as the tall man with dark hair begins to open the door i explain my situation & ask estimated time.. Lets just say he either has no people skills or he doesnt have a heart. Very rude. The young woman was very nice though. I will never send business there again

My office is really close to Mauros Pizza and I just ate their for the first time the other day. The pizza was good, I mean nothing to write home about. I do hear however, that their dessert pizza is awesome. The decor was cool and the music was awesome. They have a little stage their and I hope I can catch a show there sometime. I would recommend that you check these guys out and judge them on your own. 7.5/10

$2.75 for a slice this big is a deal. PERIOD. I got a pepperoni & sausage slice. Sausage was sliced not crumbled but still tasty. Crust was a lil crispy. Use those napkins on the wall to soak up some of the grease--if youre into that. Wall of dollars is interesting. Small menu & cash only baby. Like the sign says, " NO cups, NO ice, NO forks, NO knives, and NO Parmesan Cheese so DONT ASK! Ha!

I use to go to this place at least once a month order a slice or two at a time nothing major. Came in one day wanting a medium pizza was told order would take 30 min. I asked when I come back can I pay since I didnt want to use thier atm and get charged a fee. I was told no they would make it when I come back so, since they dont need my business I wont be returning.

Best place in South Broward for Pizza, especially in the wee hours of the night. They only do pizza. Their slices are HUGE!!! Very New York style. Make sure you bring cash as they dont accept credit cards. They have a few tables outside. A couple with umbrellas. Best to pick up a slice on the go or buy a pie. Well worth the wait as sometimes they have lines.

Good pizza. Docked 1 star for draconian and somewhat comically Seinfeldian warnings and disclaimers. "No forks, no knives, no Parmesan... dont ask for them"(???) Wont provide service if youre on your cell phone or texting? Someones taking themselves too seriously. Again though, the pizza is good, just odd attitude towards customers.

These people are so rude and unprofessional. They leave you on hold for 10-20 minutes for pick up orders and deliver or dont deliver whenever they feel like it. Rude signs in the store too. They suck! Greasy big for nothing pizza. Dont apologize or appreciate the people paying their salaries! Stay away.

Great pizza, and customer service. Closest to NY style pizza in the area. Great Cheese (thinking its Grande cheese), sauce and dough are all baked perfectly together. *The only thing that i wish they did offer, were subs or calzones or some small entrees, but unfortunately only great pizza for now.

Dont do it. No specials, they itemize every item by $3 each . A medium starts at $18. There are tons of awesome Authentic pizza places right here around the corner NOT ripping you off. They are a bare bones make it yourself as expensive as you want it. Do Yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Since I moved to Florida on 2001 I have never liked the Pizza anymore after we find Mauros Pizza in Downtown Hollywood. Guys, its a MUST EAT PIZZA. Cheesse and Crunchy like I expected to be. I truly recommend this store for hungry but careful eaters.... I am eating pizza as we speak. lol

Awesome pizza. No this isnt a Chicago style casserole (not a pizza). This is real deal NY pizza, the way pizza should be. Thin crust, doesnt droop down when you pick it up, perfectly done. If you dont like it, go to Dominos or Pizza Hut and get some of that stuffed crust crap!!!

Closest to New York Pizza as youre going to find here in this area. Great Big Slice with grease oil dripping down your hand as you eat it. Service not the greatest but it doesnt matter you just there for the pizza great for after the clubs and dancing or after the beach

Their pizza is the closest to New York style that Ive had in Broward. Perfect balance of dough, sauce, cheese and toppings with just the right crispiness. I love the price and the fact that you can do a quick late night stop, since theyre opened til 4:00 a.m.!!!
