1.) The host asked us where we would like to be seated. We said inside. The waitress who sat us disregarded this and sat us outside. 2.) We were served bread and butter only to realize we had no utensils. We then waited 10-15 minutes before we could ask an employee for them. 3.) We received our sides well before our meal. 4). Hot tea is $8/cup, while iced tea is $2.50/cup with no explanation as to why. 5.) The meal was overpriced (even for a Sunday brunch) considering the quality. Everything seemed to be improperly seasoned. The chorizo sausage lacked salt and was $8 for a small plate. The hollandaise lacked salt and was overly lemony. The crab cake lacked seasoning and breadcrumbs. The home fries were good, but we dont go out to breakfast just for home fries. 6.) We had to wait another 10-15 minutes before we could get ketchup for the home fries. By then, we done with our meal. 7.) It seemed to take forever to pay for the check. Our waitress even acknowledged that everything took a while and apologized. She explained that a party was going on, but the restaurant was barely half full. 8.) Th music box our check came in was both unnecessary and obnoxious. By far the best breakfast weve had in this area has been from Depot Diner. The food quality, service, and price (less than half for what we paid at Wenham Tea House) far exceeds anything else weve been to. This staff seemed to lack communication and organization and the food was sub-par.

So my family is visiting the area for the must be fifth time and this is the first time we had been here. We barely made it in time but glad we did. 1. The place is cozy and just fits the title teahouse perfectly. There was a wait here but not surprised. 2. Yes the food is pricey here but was worth it honestly. My parents and I both enjoyed our food (psa the potato salad is prob the best and the crabcakes werent to breaded) and the tea, depending on what you get, is basically dessert. 3. The hostess was rather to the point but was still friendly and made the experience good. 4. I liked the little music box the check came in. It needed some lubricant to play but was still a nice flare to end the meal too. Overall would say at least try this place or stop in, worth it.

I go here for breakfast a couple of times a month. The food is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! I highly recommend the Irish Benedict. Their selection of teas is superb and varied. I love the mini muffins that they provide for breakfast. I love the homemade butters even more :) The staff really pay attention to detail. The environment is so welcoming. Fresh flowers and linens on every table. Music boxes instead of traditional check presenters. Courtney is often our waitress and she is a sincere delight! Always knowledgeable and more than accommodating. Dreaming about the next visit.

#1 on the North Shore for gluten free breakfast. My girlfriend has Celiac disease, so all her food must be 100% gluten free. Weve never had a single issue at Wenham Tea House; the servers and kitchen staff are always aware of cross contamination. Even better, they offer gluten free versions of nearly everything on their menu. Aside from dietary concerns, their service is excellent and the food is always phenomenal.

If you want to feel like youre getting away but dont have time to travel, Wenham Tea House will be a perfect spot to reset and relax. My wife an I have dined their 6 times for breakfast/brunch and have always left relaxed, well fed, and felling welcomed. Food is great and the atmosphere and experience is like no other place. Sunny, inviting, and great way to start a weekend or special event or to bring guests.

The brunch is definitely overpriced. The food is good. The staff is normal but the elderly hostessed stuck us in a table corner because we were not elegantly dressed. Its a place you go to maybe once or twice in your life and thats it. You really go there for status. A few very elderly people and that was it.

The food was amazing, and our waitress was so sweet and attentive. They even give you some little slices of banana bread while qe waited for our food. We didnt have to ask for coffee refills either. The food was hot when we recieved it and it felt authentic and personal. I will definitely be coming back!

I had my baby shower here. The staff were wonderful, the food was great, and everything was clean and organized. It was afternoon tea, the only complaint we had was that we were hungry when we left. We shouldnt have been surprised though, as it was small sandwiches and pastries.

Parking is terrible! Cant understand why people are allowed to mark on the street - there is no room. Tried to go twice. Hours dont match what is posted on line. I am not giving them a third shot. Done.

Great place if you like drinking tea in a place that reminds you of Grandmas house. Went with my wife for tea and scones and it was pleasant.

Not exactly my scene, but I went there for my grandmother and her friends. They had an incredible time and still talk about it months later.
