I had a horrible experience at this IHOP with my family today. I left feeling very concerned with the lack of service I recd today - when I eat out, I expect much better, especially from the wait staff. Our visit started off decently. We were seated within 5 minutes of arriving to the restaurant (great!) but everything was downhill from there. We were seated at our table for at least 25 mins. before our waiter, Taiwo, even came over to introduce himself to us and get our orders started. We finally placed our order, but our waiter walked away before he took everyones order! Then, instead of receiving our drinks right away, we didnt get them until our food arrived 15-20 minutes later. When the waiter brought our food to the table, instead of placing each plate and cup in front of each person seated at the table, Taiwo stood at the head of our table and made everyone reach for their food and drinks. While we ate our food, Taiwo never checked in to see how we were doing, if we needed something, we had to flag him over to get what we wanted. At the end of our meal, instead of clearing our table properly, Taiwoo, again, stood at the head of the table and asked us to pass our plates to him! The culminating factor was that our waiter acknowledged the service was less than to be desired, but did not attempt in any way to improve our experience. About 80% of this IHOP experience was completely unbelievable and unacceptable. It will be quite awhile before I even CONSIDER coming to this restaurant again!

I was happy to make an early order at iHop, being as though they were the only fast-food place open on that nasty snow day on March 14 2017. I ordered the Strawberry Banana French Toast meal for pick-up. I was greeted very kindly by a middle-aged gentle man at the door. The restaurant was obviously not busy as I was probably their first customer of the day but I could be wrong. As I opened my order back at my office, it looked like my order had been through the PANANA CANAL and back. My order looked as though it was rushed and just thrown in the box . Then i realized that I had only been given 4 french toasts. Then, I though, well, maybe i may be wrong. So I went back on their website and confirmed. The order said, "6" pieces of toast. Furthermore, it wasnt until the first bite that it seemed as though I was just eating bread. That was not a French Toast Meal. The Strawberry seemed dipped in some syrup. I was not expecting that. I only ate the banana as that was the only thing that tasted fresh and right. Maybe, the workers didnt want to be there on that snow day or they didnt want me there ordering and proving their manager wrong about people ordering on a nasty weather. Whatever the case, I might try again if Im that desperate to eat something again.

I called on 11.6.14 approximately 11:22 wanted to order some food for take out. I was very nice and polite, as always because I do not want anyone messing with my food. I started to order and the person on the other end was speaking so fast, I said could you please repeat yourself. Then he said in a very angry tone mam what you want? I then said can I speak to your manager? He said it is the manager your speaking with. Then I said why are you so mean? He soften up and said he was not mean he just asking me what I want. I said never mind I would not be ordering from there not with that attitude and your handling my food. I hung up. Customer Service is a everything to me. You could be slow with my order, you could ask me the same questions over and over about my order but if you present yourself in a manner of caring and patience. He need to go back into training because if he is the manager and dont have self control of himself, how can he demonstrate good working habits.

I havent been back in a over a year [and I live in Laurel .. Ill do DENNYs or FIRST WATCH before I go back here] do to nasty managers. They have a manager that was [not sure if he is still there] so disrespectful to the staff, that I couldnt take it anymore and stood up for them. His tone was terrible. Once I said something, a lady said that she was recording him talking rude and caught me in the video. I gave her my card just in case she decided to send it to headquarters [I have been keeping an eye on social media just in case she posted it]; but the staff were cool, it was the manager bringing the atmosphere down. PS~ a note was passed to myself and the lady, that our meals were free. I didnt make a loud announcement; I just tipped the staff well and left.

I love I Hop, but if my first time with I Hop was at this location, I would have definitely hated it. The food here is nasty. They dont care about their guests. The food is not presentable, doesnt taste any other I Hop Ive been to, ever!!! They serve u drinks in plastic cups while youre dining in (its wasnt just one time that it happened to me). The smell make u lose appetite, server curse out all the time and in front of guests.... The lost is too long. Ive been a Server before. I know its hard work, but making money in general is hard work. Like Jeez be professional!

Really bad customer service. I called before I got to laurel. They put me on hold, sat the phone down and took an order. Then just had the phone sitting there. I drove 10 minutes into laurel hoping they would still be on when I get there, I pulled up outside and they hung up on me. I walk in and about 6 people in iHop uniform stood there talking and laughing. After about 4 minutes I asked how do I go about making an order. This is very unwelcoming. I shouldnt have to leave my own city because our ihop service is so horrible. Good luck going there.

Horrible. I ordered a omelet. You could tell it was cooked on a dirty grill. The manager came by and I showed it to him. He diagnosed that the grill was dirty, not phased at all. He took it to the kitchen where I hear the manager say that I told him the grill was dirty. The cook says im tripping. This place is horrible and I will be making a formal complaint. Dont come here. Go to Dennys, Cracker Barrel, Bob Evans or eggspectations...anywhere but here.

This is my go to spot after a long day, hard day, for celebration, as a pick me up or just because. I always have great servers, the food is always spot on, maybe one mistake or so but normally perfect and its just a warm environment. Ive never had any issues with the place, save for the day my friends and I were waiting almost an hour for a buddy without ordering, but then again, thats understandable

I enjoy this place due to the convenience of it .... I dont expect a lot but I like the service they give you at specific times. Just make sure when you visit its not a time when theyre busy or an event hasnt let out, for example a high school party and everyone heading here, thats when theyll be swamped with business. But other than that, great place and found my favorite server by the name of Nandi
