We have eaten here a couple of times before, and gotten carry out a couple of times. The food was good most of the times but the last encounter we had with them the carryout order we received was not only incorrect and therefore over priced, but the food was sub par. I called back to let them know and had both the person who answered the phone and the supposed manager on duty argue with me about what I had ordered. After explaining that I expected to be compensated for the money I spent she said she would take care of us the next time we placed an order. Fast forward to a week or so later we decided to give it another try. When I called in and was given the manager, they wanted us to pay for the food again (and give us free French fries that were left out of the last order) When I explained that the missing side item was not my only issue last time, the food was burnt etc, she said there wasnt anything else she could do for me. I told her to cancel the order and I would make sure to tell everyone I knew not to patronize this business. She then HUNG UP on me. I may try to call back another time to speak to a GM or an owner, but I am highly disappointed at the level of customer service this person showed. I am not trying to get over on anyone, but I expect that if I do not get what I paid for, that I will be compensated with a replacement. Is that too much to ask? Dont go here, or if you do I dont recommend carry out, as they apparently take no care in ensuring the orders are complete and correct.

Today we had our first visit to RFD and were really positively impressed. This establishment is not a "fine dining place" as you can guess and is not pretending it to be. But as a diner it does a fine job and definitely deserves my 5 **. PROS: GREAT tasting comfort food FRESHEST and yummiest salad bar I ever tasted in this area HUGE portions ATTENTIVE, professional, friendly service CLEAN, nicely decorated and cozy ambiance UNBELIEVABLY great value for what you get CONS: NONE that weve found at the moment, but we wish they would have labeled their salad dressings at the bar, and our dessert (Cherry Pie) while being not bad still was not as impressive as all the rest of the food. In conclusion we have to admit that we are sorry to spend our money at Bill Batman, IHOP, and many other places around this area and instead didnt come here much earlier. But no worry, well compensate for this mistake pretty soon and recommend you do the same.

We recently went to the Reisterstown Family Diner for breakfast with a friend who had stayed overnight at our house. I ordered the Reisterstown Omelet which contains spinach, tomato, feta cheese and black olives. It was very good. My companions liked the things they ordered. The service was pleasant, quick and not obtrusive. The booth was comfortable. This might not sound like a rave review, but the Reisterstown Family Diner was exactly what we wanted for breakfast.

Great place for a good breakfast. I cant speak for the rest of the menu but if its as good as the breakfast you wont be disappointed. The staff is friendly and attentive and the prices are affordable. Omelette meals ranging from $7-$9. Three XL pancakes (thick with great texture) at $6.99. Portions are hearty! Ill have to get here for lunch someday. They have a good looking salad bar setup that Im looking forward to trying. I will update this post when I do.

We were in the area for a soccer tournament and stopped here for brunch. The menu seemed small and kind of over priced. BUT I tried the creamed chip beef (with biscuits instead of toast) and it was THE BEST anyone at our table has ever had. And the buiscuts were awesome too. You can tell it was all mad from scratch. Again, it seemed pricey to me but ypu get pretty big portions. Our waitress was so nice. Service was friendly and fast.

This place has changed ownership since Dennys and (in my opinion) currently is the best diner-like place in Owings Mills/Reisterstown area. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The food is great, i have not had a bad meal there yet. It presents a variety of food that both kids and adults can enjoy. If whatever you desire is not on the menu, the kitchen can make it per order.

This is one of our favorite places to go for a meal. The salad bar is always fresh, and the choices are good. They have regular specials. Rest of the menu gives lots of options. Portions are generous. The service is outstanding. Wait staff is so accomodating, and the kitchen will prepare the food as per our preferences. And lastly, the prices are very reasonable.

Wasnt expecting much at first, but boy were we pleasantly surprised! The wait tine for a Sunday wasnt long, the service was EXCELLENT, and the food was super tasty. We had a nice server from Turkey wait on us and he was great. The portion sizes were very satisfying too. We really enjoyed this place. Highly recommended.

Weve eaten here twice recently. The food and service are very good and its a quiet and comfortable environment. My only complaint is that the Cole slaw is too milky and bland. They need a new recipe for it but everything else has been tasty.

The good: Good breakfast place, Good soups, Open late, Long menu, everything you can ask for in a breakfast diner. The bad: Seats are uncomfortable, staff professionalism isnt great, needs training, Diner food is very bland and mediocre.

I enjoy the food here. I went in looking for a reason not to like it. However, I now go there at least 3 times a month. When family comes into town, I take them here. I enjoy the breakfast, while my son loves the cheeseburger.

Very friendly. Very relaxing. Delicious food with a large menu and great prices. Plus not only do they hold to the quality of there food, but they do not cut back on the serving you receive. You get more than your moneys worth.
