Sarku is a chain Teriyaki restaurant, but the food is made in the traditional way right in front of you. Its a solid option in the Columbia Mall Cafe Court, as the food is simple and healthy — not to mention pretty tasty. If it is your first time, probably best to go for the standard dish: chicken teriyaki. Over steamed rice and with veggies (also steamed) its a nutritious 700 calorie lunch that is big enough to leave leftovers for many people. They also do potstickers, etc. But the main draw here is Teriyaki Chicken. The people at the Columbia Mall location are super-nice, and even a longish line moves quickly. Tip: Ask for extra sauce, which theyll happily provide. And a shot of Sriracha will turn up to the heat if you desire.

the only item I get here is the chicken teriyaki with noodles. it is fantastic food and quick. they are always busy so the food does not sit for very long, and is being cooked constantly. they will also put extra sauce on the chicken if you ask for it.
