The Best of Tokyo Sushi Restaurants arrived in DC! Yuzu’s sushi is remarkable. I started one evening with Omakase. Dish after dish carried me to wonderful world of delight and culinary satisfaction. Then I followed up three days later with Jo-sashimi, thick cuts of fresh fish presented beautifully on a giant butterbur leaf . The service each time was excellent: friendly and competent, taking extra care to make clients comfortable. Yuzu is certainly the best in Washington area. At the sushi bar made of solid walnut, the chef uses his beautiful pottery and ceramics that enhances the pleasure of dinning. Rare is a restaurants even in Tokyo that knows how to make people enjoy food also with eyes. The restaurant is elegant but simply decorated and with taste. I have recently gone to New York to lunch at Jean George. Yuzu is its Japanese twin brother!

ランチ利用。日本人店員に飲み物を最初に聞かれたが、ドリンクメニューが無かったので「何がありますか？」と聞くと、、「何があるって、、、(沈黙)」と馬鹿にした対応。結局何があるのか教えてくれず。 豚角煮定食($14.50?)を注文し、美味しかったですが、ご飯も角煮も冷めていました。そして値段の割には本当にちょっとしか来ないです。 おまけに雨が降っていて寒い日だったのに、暖房は全くきいていなくてみんなダウンジャケットを着たまま食事をしていました。もう二度と行かないと思います。

Had a dinner here with my foodie friend. We ordered their gyoza, kakuni teishoku, and sushi assortment. Gyoza was brilliant as it was made with crispy wings -- I loved the slightly spicy sauce that came with it. My friend ordered kakuni, which was profoundly tasty and the pork meat was very soft. Last but definitely not least, we both loved their sushi. We both lived in Japan before, so we appreciated how neatly the sushi was made here. The rice was uniformly prepared and fish were beautifully cut. We enjoyed their Kirin Ichiban draft beer and Yuzus staffs were very polite. We will be back for sure.

The sushi was very good, and everything tasted fresh; the restaurant was practically empty when I came for dinner, which was a little surprising. It seems as though Yuzu probably gets most of its business during the lunch rush, and not so much during the evening (which is exactly what I experienced when I used to live in Rosslyn). Id definitely come back in the future - especially if I was looking for a place to have a nice, quiet, and relaxing dinner.

The food was traditional Japanese which is hard to find in the DC area. - Kudos to Yuzu. Their appetizers, sushi, desert were superb. Even the draft beer made me feel like home (Tokyo). The staff must have been trained in a Japanese environment. Their atmosphere also makes me feel at home. There is parking right across the street, so should have no issues there. For those wanting an authentic Japanese experience should try Yuzu at least once.

I stopped in during happy hour for a light snack at the bar. I stopped in around 6:30 and ot was pretty slow but ot picked up after a while. Happy hour prices are reasonable for this area, bar and snacks $4.95 each. I had the California roll and it was really nice. Great service, friendly staff, no complaints Ill be back.on the area for business and Ill co.e back again.

This place is very good and doesnt get enough attention. Fish is fresh, the chef is conscientious, and the wait staff are all adorable and fun. Its cursed with a bad location directly on Wisconsin but its close to metro and parking...come!

Great good, great price! I was a bit surprised to find a chocolate cake on the menu as the food is very traditional Japanese, so I had to order it. Like everything else, it was fantastic!
