Will not be coming back to this location again, ever. When I first came in, it was right at the opening time, 11 AM, and yet when I ordered their chicken teriyaki, I was told the only options available were either fried rice or noodles, either of which is a 50 cent surcharge. I work in the food industry myself, if you dont have something, you work out some kind of agreement with another store in the company to "borrow" some of their food ingredients (in this case, white rice) or, and this is absurd given there is a Wal-Mart within walking distance, go and buy a bag of white rice! Already a little unhappy that I effectively had to tack on an additional 50 cents, I went ahead and ordered anyway, getting teriyaki chicken with fried rice. The rice itself was bland, the only flavor I really got whenever I ate it was the teriyaki sauce from the chicken. The peas and carrots in the fried rice were the wrong kind of crunchy--cooked, but dry as if they were freezer burned. However, the reason I will not be coming back to this store ever again is because, not even a fifth of the way through my meal, I found a HAIR in my food. This is unacceptable, no matter how low cost or how mundane the food you offer is. As I said, I myself work in the food service industry, and I know getting your hair in the food you serve is disrespectful to the customer, but more importantly, its a health code and food safety violation. Bringing the matter to the employments attention, I was offered a replacement meal. Im sorry, but if Ive just found a hair in my food, what makes you think I want ANOTHER plate of food prepared at the same location, BY THE SAME KITCHEN STAFF? I simply wanted my money back, but was told by the front counter staff that they were "unable to offer a refund." I was given a fully stamped free meal card, which doesnt cover the fried rice surcharge, nor the extra meat charge I had paid for when I ordered. Sarku, you leave me thoroughly disappointed, very unhappy, and feeling rather disrespected. It will be, at the very least, a LONG time before I go to one of your stores again.

I only go here when I am broke and desperate for cheap sushi lol. It is good for getting that sushi fix on the cheap! Went here 6/3/2016 and my rolls were miniature. Maybe they r saving money or something but it had very little fish inside and the roll was literally the size of a dollar coin. I uploaded a pic for review. Also I ordered a roll with salmon and it had a weird aftertaste, that was similar to bleach or something, maybe its where they order the fish from. But I didnt get sick. Check out my pics

This rating is based on the fact that I have been trying to call this restaurant since 9:05, they close at 9:30, and there has been a busy tone, once I arrived at the restaurant it was 9:28 on my phone and the doors were locked, a young girl inside looked at me looked down and shook her head. Very disappointing as I am new to virginal and looking for a good place to eat sushi, but they are more concerned with getting out than getting sales... Very disappointed

I have eaten Sarku Japans Teriyaki Chicken since I was a child. I used to go to a location they had at a mall in Bethesda, MD. When I saw that they had opened an actual restaurant I had to try it... and I was not disappointed. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and the establishment was clean. I go back every now and then for their Teriyaki Chicken combo which is around $7 and I will continue to go so long as they continue to make tasty teriyaki!

The food is definitely good, but they charged me four times from my debit card while I didnt even buy anything! I guess they just saved my debit card number and charged me the next day or so... I talked to the manager, he asked me to get him my bank statement & I did so, he said he is going to send email to his manager or supervisor and will refund my money, but they didnt! So from my experience and from that day on i never use my debit card in that store.

Good food. Fast service. We went the 1st time and ordered 2 meals. Didnt receive card indicating we had been there with stamps for free meal. Went 2nd time and ordered 4 meals. Reciecved the card. 1st time going workers looked and acted strange. 2nd time going workers were different and a little more friendly. Largo restaurant staff much nicer especially the white male manager in the evening.

Love this place! Lots of food and relatively healthy. I order ahead by phone because the wait can be considerable when busy, as they make most to order. Staff is friendly and I have seen the same faces in the kitchen for years. Very consistent in quantity and quality.

Been to this location a couple of times and the chicken in the chicken teriyaki has always been full of gristle and is just generally not good chicken. Wish it was better, Ive been to multiple other locations of this chain and have loved it.

I like to eat here with my wife but not always open at the times they say they are. Also they do seem to run out of things for awhile like they person who orders supplies isnt that good or not getting the right amount of ordering budget.
