No Respect! It upsets me that these restaurant owners come to certain neighborhoods because they think certain people like seafood, but dont care a lick about the neighborhood or the people in it (read between the lines)! This restaurant is all about making money in "certain" neighborhoods and not caring about the people that they serve in the neighborhood they are located in. If you dont care about the people you serve, no telling what kind of food you will get because your focus is just about taking our hard earned money! I received an incorrect order, they actually took the food off my plate to add what I ordered. This was so unsanitary! I asked for my money back, the manager just shrugged his shoulders, as if to say, "youre just one person, Im making all kind of money off of your people, take your few dollars back, youre not important"! He did not bother to say Im sorry or try to give me a fresh plate for my inconvenience of waiting for 45 mins or longer for hot fresh food that I paid for, then getting my order wrong, then having to drive back twice. They probably served the plate of food that I brought back to other guest, and before that the food taken off my plate I wouldnt be surprised because you dont care! Youre just making money off of hard working people! I will not return, because of principles! You dont respect the people you serve! I will not give you my hard earned money! No telling what you will serve me to save your money but take mine! No Thanks! I hope someone reads this and dont go to your restaurant because of the principle of the matter of not respecting the people that gives you their hard earned money that pays your bills! I will not return because of this reason. Also, I can make my own fish, oysters and fries, and boil my seafood and make my own crack sauce and whatever kind of food you put out! Which is what I went home and did. I saved alot of money and I knew it was fresh. There is also many other restaurants in the area I can go to.

If I could give this place "no stars" I would, solely based on customer service. I was not told there would be a long wait for food, so after about 30 minutes I started to inquire about the status. Was told " just a couple more minutes" the next three times I asked ...after about 45 minutes , I asked again and the guy at the desk responded with an ole school, mean girl eye-roll saying "a few more minutes". I immediately asked for a refund. You wont get my money and treat me like Im bothering you. I gave him a short lecture about customer service, which he laughed about, clearly not caring that he lost a customer. I told him Id write a review and he said "okay"...he may as well have said "Gurl Bye...dont nobody care!" I wont ever go back....Im sure there is another neighborhood joint that cares about customer service, that I can give my money to.

Location that makes you look over your shoulder. A 15 minute wait time for a phone order of boiled shrimp, sausage and corn at 8:30 pm was surprising considering the other reviews. Opened the styrofoam box when I sat down to eat and nearly dumped the liquid in the bottom of the bag all over myself. I also noticed that there is A LOT of butter/oil in the liquid. Everything tastes great and the oil actually makes them easier to peel. I paid $0.50 and got the "crack" sauce with it, which also has a buttery flavor and is so good that I nearly drank the leftover. The boiled seafood was great and the medium flavor had a good kick. Corn and sausage was also delicious. I wouldnt consider it a GREAT price as some folks reviewed since boiled shrimp is an easy dish to prepare at home for 1/3 the cost. If only I could find their recipe!

This place is spoken of as top rate. I beg to differ. A long wait is understandable for a seafood place. But if you placed an order and waited 45 mins for pick up and to wait another 30 minutes after you arrived its ridiculous. *Major seafood chains wont wait that long.* The food is way too spicy to even eat if youre ordering boiled food. (And I can tolerate spicy foods) Then Im glad I shuffled my food around to later find a clump of HAIR at the bottom of it. Why the hype again? My tip to management and associates: Find a more EFFICIENT way to serve your guest. Lines should not be out the doors. (I guess its a strategic way to build demand.) Work on quality service youre still a local chain and will remain if you cannot improve the service.

I kept hearing about Lotus and there boiled spicy shrimp. Well I finally made it over there one day after work. First impression, ghetto...hood..just not my type of area to live,work or hang out. However the staff was friendly and even though the wait was over 20 mins and there was alot of rachettness coming in and out..... it was totally worth it. I got the 1/2 order of the mild boiled shrimp with a potato IT WAS SOOO GOOD..the flavor the smell the seasoning loved it!! Im a country girl and I have to say they out did my grandmama and thats saying a whole lot. Must try dont dine in ...Get it to go!!

I love the crawfish and shrimp (extra garlic, medium heat with potatoes). Potatoes are a little extra. Crawfish is small now in late June to me, but depends on your expectations as size does matter when it comes to my crawfish. Always a line during crawfish season. Price point, service and time spent waiting is way better than Cravin Cajun (1960 spot). Never had any issues with parking (lock your doors...IJS) Definitely would recommend for takeout. Good luck calling ahead!

Very poor customer service! Attempted to have lunch at Lotus Seafood on Veterans Memorial near my job. Cashier told me 30 minutes for my order. Waited 45 minutes and still did not receive my food! Got a refund and stormed out angry! Not the way I wanted to spend my lunch break. Never will I ever go to that place again. I dont know what the hype is about waiting almost an hour for some boiled seafood but I will not spend my money to hurry up and wait! My first and last visit.

This place is horrible!!!!!!!! Extremely unprofessional and a careless act towards customer service! Extremely HORRIBLE!!!!!! We ordered our food at 12:08 PM and waited for 47 minutes and still did not get our food. Upon asking what the issue was, their excuse was, "were waiting on the rice" Mind, you about 20 people ordered after us with the same rice and got it. If you expect any sort of customer service, please do not come here!!! Completely unacceptable and careless!!!!

Very affordable seafood met with asisn cuisine. No matter what you order its in a massive quantity. The crab legs and shrimp boil are my favorite. The potatoes are always hot & soft. Regular spicy is hot so to the people that order extra spicy more power to you. The fried rice are great compliment to any order. The catfish is swai. Great fried shrimp & oysters. Kinda ghetto at times but its great affordable food.
