Very disappointed. It was their opening weekend at the Patton Rd location, so I was willing to give them somewhat of a pass, as necessary. I went there about 6:00 on a Sunday evening to order takeout. I was second in line behind a couple. They were seated quickly, so I was prepared to order. Thats when I realized the entire staff consisted of 2 people. Thats 2 people to greet, seat, serve, process payments and bus tables. It was another 15 minutes until I placed my order. By that time a sizeable line had built up behind me. A lot of grumbling and a few exits. THE FOOD: The taste was okay, but it was grossly over-priced. I had the St. Louis Ribs (5 overcooked ribs and about a one-cup serving of good mac & cheese - $16.00). My wife had the salmon and rice pilaf w/dill - $18.00. She described it as tasteless. Bottom line - do yourself a favor. Take the short drive up I-81 to Smokehouse, or downtown to Momos in Hbg and get the real thing at a more reasonable price.

I visited about 5 days after they first opened for lunch and things were still chaotic. Several items on the menu were sold out or just not available for lunch. I ended up ordering a Beef Brisket sandwich with fries, which took far too long to arrive at the table. The sandwich was fantastic, but the very small portion of fries (about the size of a small fry from mcdonalds) were under cooked and greasy. It ended up costing about $15 total , which is a little high in my book for lunch for one person and the small portion served. I may give them another try for dinner in a few weeks after they get all the kinks worked out and more items from the menu are available.

Very friendly, great atmosphere, coolest bathroom theme ive seen in a while. While I wasnt impressed w/ the Notorious P.I.G. (not alot of flavor besides the sauce I put on it) or the pickle, the chips (BBQ flavor) were good. Will try the Old Bay Chips the next time, as well as something else on the menu. Got there at 1pm on a weekday and they were not very busy. My sandwich took a little longer to get to me than I had planned but it wasnt too torturous of a wait. The person I was with got the chicken and said it was good. Music was nowhere near too loud; didnt really even notice it that much, honestly. Finally, its a BYOB establishment which I find to be pretty cool.

Had a wonderful meal here last night. There were some amazing highs like the bacon wrapped dates, the pork belly & the boss dawg. The staff was great even though we showed up 25 mins before closing we werent rushed at all and we ordered a lot of food 7 apps and 2 entrées. Plus HUGH props to the 2 guys in the kitchen if you havent been its a open kitchen and they were all smiles and looked they really enjoyed making our food which means a lot! You guys could work for me anytime! Totally check this place out

I also liked the fact the food was not over seasoned or salty like many Bbq joints Salt is not a flavor, its an enhancer

Honestly, the pits. I had such high hopes for this place since its around the corner from me! The meat tasted and felt like days old leftovers. The buns seemed like they were purchased at the convenient store next door. They had no bacon (early in the day). The fried green tomatoes- soggy. I never leave reviews but I felt compelled to leave one after the price paid for such sub-par food.

I was there on the first day they opened and the I was impressed. Having lived in the south for 5 yrs. I know BBQ. Portions was massive, Pulled Pork Entree, I picked at it over next day and half plus made a sandwich. My only suggestion, not complaint, is I like my BBQ messy. To this end I would have liked to have been given option of "Wet or Dry"....Will be back again soon...

I cannot say enough great things about Smoke.! Always greeted with a smile and leave with a happy, full belly. Ive tried almost everything on the menu, the bacon wrapped dates take the cake. Today I had the Nashville chicken and my mind was blown. Ill just leave it at this: I live in Memphis Tennessee, and I look forward to coming back to Maryland for Smoke.

Paid $12.00 for pit sandwich and cole slaw. Not much meat on sandwich and it was big chunks which make a bit more difficult to eat like that. Was never asked how I like my beef which is med-rare to rare and got well done and done some more. Music was obnoxious and LOUD! Couldnt talk without yelling to person next to me. Was very disappointed to say the least.

We are huge bbq fans and we frequent many places that have bbq but this place had no flavor and was way over priced. For the same amount of money we could have had a large meal at chaps and dessert up the street. We will not be coming back here again and from the looks of it they didnt have much business in there the entire time we were there.

Best BBQ in town, the Boss Dog is the way to go, add some of their BBQ sauce to anything you get. Personally the old bae chips are my favorite, but both are amazing. These guys are great, personable and know everything about smoking meats.

I was sad to see Corned Beef Factory close, but this opening up in its place was an okay consolation prize. Been here a couple times now. Its a little inconsistent but Ill keep trying. The staff is friendly and overall I like the place.

I got the Notorious P. I. G. sandwich. Pork and slaw were good. I tried both barbecue sauces and they were both delicious as well. Lunch was served in a timely manner. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes barbecue.

Great new BBQ spot. I had the Notorious P.I.G. sandwich. It was awesome. Great atmosphere too. Tool was playing on the soundsystem while I ate lunch. Be sure to check out the bathrooms. They Rock!

I spent many years in North Carolina and south carolina. Since moving to MD I have yet to find great bbq. Smoke is delicious, from the wings to the sandwiches, and even the bacon wrapped dates.
