Well this was not my first visit so no judgements should be made on this one star. I would normally give this place 3-4*, but this review is specifically for this visit I made today. I was in the queue to order food and I could see that the place was totally packed. So the guy at the counter takes my order, however tells me that there is no free table.(well I can see that!!) Implying I wouldnt get anything anytime sooner. No reassurance saying I would get a table in say 10-15 minutes either. I couldve waited still I said, "okay then I would get a takeaway instead", to that he says, we have 10 more orders for takeaways. I had no other option but to just leave the place. There was no effort made whatsoever to keep the customer, which is not exactly how food industry would work. I wonder what he was gonna tell the people waiting in line after me. I would just recommend them to be prepared for this than driving customers away.

New place in town. Very nice food, tastes delicious. I am very satisfied with the flavors. Very much recommended. Out of 2 visits in last 5 days - recommend Samosa/Potato Dumpling/Chilly Paneer. For restaurant - please keep up the good taste :). A little more variety in the menu would go a long way.

Urban Tawa is Best Indian Fast Food Restaurant with incredible delicious food. I like the fact that it is a vegetarian makes that part of meal selection a bit easier. Watch out for this place to catch up all over Detroit.

Mediocre taste, menu and service. I am better off preparing at home. My friend was charged for an extra cup of *Diluted* sambhar. What year do we live in ? 1980?

The food feels like its from India. The atmosphere is very nice. I recommend it to anyone who wants to try vegetarian, jain or Indian food.
