THE WORST SERVICE I EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. I never tatsed the food. When I walked in the staff all looked at me as if I were a foreign object. They never greeted me, handed me a menu, or anything. So I helped myself to a seat at the bar and grabbed a menu. As Im going over the menu the staff never came over to me and so much as took my order. The kitchen and cooking area were highly unsanitary. The cooks werent wearing gloves while handling food and I became highly disgusted. I just got up left. I recommend you choose another BBQ place. And Ive been telling everyone about the rude staff and dirty kitchen.

GREAT place to dine. Wifey and I drive up from Sunbury, NC. The food, the service, the friendly staff makes your visit worth the miles traveled to get here. The Chef really throws down on the grill while the waitress makes you feel at peace and comfortable. The food just about melt in your mouth, its so darn good. GREAT JOB SUFFOLK BBQ. The dining area was so hot I had to take the rest of my meal home to eat it. I ordered a pulled pork BBQ sandwich...was extremely dry. Tasted like it had been sitting out all day. Server was very friendly and attentive. Good service without good food isnt enough to keep me as a customer.

Not great place at all. I wanted extra shrimp and they charged me for two platters. Only given me one. The waitress was nice. Bit the cook was very irritated and it showed. If you cant handle the public then maybe she should find something else to do. Never going back!

Very unsanitary!!! One of the cooks was chewing a toothpick and it was hanging out his mouth while he was making food. GROSS and highly unprofessional. Bathrooms gross also. Id give 0 stars if i could. Cooks also touched food with NO gloves on. Never going back.

Very friendly owners and staff members. Delicious BBQ sauce. Havent tried a lot of the menu items because im hooked on the Brisket sandwich and Potatoe salad, which is made in house and not preorderrd. This restaurant is an added touch to downtown Suffolk.

This place is the best BBQ. Place ever! It is not unclean at all. The only reason I say that is cause I saw a review that was contradictory to that statement. The kitchen area is just very small therefore it looks cluttered but its all very clean

We went twice and the first time the food was fine but second time was the last. We ordered pulled pork but it was so greasy that we literally soaked it with paper towels before making sandwiches. That was the last time we went.

A little hard to find but well worth it. Ive spent a lot of time in the brisket capital of the world Austin TX and this is the best brisket Ive had outside of there.

We used to go for ribs here all the time. Lately they havent been as good. Last three times we went the ribs have been soggy. Hopefully this isnt a trend.
