Had lunch here because I wanted to eat at a local family run business and immediately regretted my decision. Our waitress seemed as if she was bothered to wait on us!! The couple who seemed to own the resteraunt didnt even make eye contact with us even though we were sitting at the bar right in front of them!! The owner looked so pissed while she made the sandwiches!! I would have walked out if I wasnt with two small children!! I would NOT recommend eating at this establishment!!

Old-timey diner tucked away in a beautiful part of Frankfort, right near the Kentucky river. We ate breakfast there on a Saturday morning and were not disappointed. The food was great (dont miss their home fried potatoes, not the hash browns, ask for the fried potatoes!), the service was also good and we enjoyed the friendly locals, several of whom spoke to us and gave us great information about the area. If we get back to Frankfort some day, this will be a stop for sure.

Not just a greasy spoon! Phenomenal! Awesome! Stupendous! Scrumptious! Wow! Home cooking. This food was terrific and the service was even better. Hamburgers had so much flavor. Meatloaf worth driving in from a long ways away to eat. Even the bread was yummy. This crew is top notch and have terrific personalities. You feel like you have known them forever and they have know you your whole life. We will be back absolutely, positively, for certain!

If I could give a zero I would. Worst experience ever. We were there last May and it took forever to be served never got refills on drinks. We gave them a second chance was worse. The staff was rude never even acknowledged us even when we said hi. Sat at the counter for 10 minutes. Obviously, we left and will never be back. I guess they dont care how they treat people. Definitely, no southern hospitality!!!!!

The cliffside diner provides decent food that is well prepared and served quite efficiently. The trailer containing the diner fairly easy to find if you are going into Frankfort, as it is on one of the main roads into the capital building area. The beef and gravy open-face sandwich, burger and onion rings were all excellent. Nice stop.

No question that this is a MUST-DINE restaurant when in Frankfort! Authentic diner, with genuine staff, good food, and a great atmosphere. We enjoyed a Reuben sandwich and Fried Chicken Salad. The fries were cooked to perfection. It was hard to say no to a milkshake and/or ice cream. Thanks for the friendly welcome and the excellent service!

This little place is charming. It has a great deal of nostalgic charm with a pleasantly busy atmosphere and very good food. It is rather cramped, so it may not be good for large parties. The one thing I would say is holding it back is that at peak times the staff seems very disorganised and a bit gruff and impatient with the customers.

Great greasy spoon in an out-of-the-way place in Frankfort. The staff is friendly, the food is consistent, and the atmosphere is just right for a diner. There are a lot of options on the menu (including a hot brown), and even on a packed day in the middle of lunch, you can still get your food within 15-20 minutes.

Great food at a good price! The diner is adorable and has a 50s meets the modern day feel. The waitresses were very nice to us. However, the ladies working obviously didnt like each other and kept making remarks about each other while we were there. Still would recommend eating here!

We drove all the way back from Liberty to eat here again! Meatloaf was the best ever last night and the fried potatoes Devine. Tonight I had the fish dinner with fried potatoes again. They were also unbelievably delicious! I am from Indiana and I will be back!!

This was a great place ! Me and my husband ate here today 7-10-17. I had open face roast beef - wonderful , he had turkey and mashed potatoes, we had side salads and I topped it off with a piece of chocolate pie. All was wonderful .

Breakfast is no longer served all day. Fried potatoes are great. The onion rings are awesome (although we were not informed of an upcharge for having these as one of our two sides). Very friendly staff!

Fried chicken was the bomb! Three pieces of perfectly crispy heaven like my grandma used to make. My lady says her double cheeseburger was totally yummy. Too bad we were too full to have a shake.

Its kind off off the beaten path, but worth finding this place. Its small; six booths and 14 stools. The food is very good. I would recommend the fried potatoes. The service was also excellent.
