This afternoon was my first and last time ever eating at this particular Mission BBQ again. No complaints about the food but the young girl named ALEXIS who rang me up this afternoon had the worst attitude and was very rude to my husband and I. She kept asking for my name for my order and after nicely repeating it twice, and then spelling it slowly for her, she got very upset with me and I just told her to put "B" since my name seemed to be too hard for her to comprehend and spell. She then threw my receipts on the counter, said "sign" and rolled her eyes at me. My husband was rang up separately from me and he was met with the same grouchy attitude by this particular cashier. Another cashier even asked her what was wrong and she said, LOUD and CLEAR for everyone in the restaurant to hear, "Im just in a bad mood today". While my husband and I were eating our food we saw that sweet Alexis took her lunch break. She literally looked like she wanted to kill everyone and we got a great laugh from watching the other staff behind the counters clearing talk about how rude she was. No amount of pulled pork is worth the attitude of some nasty teenager angry at the world. Ill try a different location next time. Hope your day gets better Alexis!

So first and foremost, the food is excellent. I mean, probably the best Ive ever had at a fair price. I got the pulled pork sandwich and it was amazing even before any sauce. The service was quick, even during lunch. And the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The ONLY thing that bothered me (and apparently is a company wide practice) is the fact that they play the star spangled banner at noon every day and you feel almost required to stand and join in. If youre ok with that, cool. Ive never been to this place before and stopped in because an old friend recommended it to me. I was in the military in 2009, and understand what theyre doing, and appreciate the sentiment, but that is just a little too much kool-aid for my personal tastes when I just want some amazing food. If I come back, it probably will be after noon to avoid the awkward situation that it is. Otherwise, I definitely would recommend it to someone else, just a little later in the day.

Are you kidding !!! What this world is missing is the type of service and commitment we received from Mission Barbecue yesterday for our visit. We took a small school group of 32 people for dinner. First of all, the food was delicious! Smokey, juicy barbecue with HUGE portions!. The sides were great! :) Second, the service and attention to the customer was next to none. The manager was a SWEETHEART!! You, my friend, were raised by good people. Thank you! We could tell that your employees loved you too. It takes effort, trust, and love for people to gain admiration in such a powerful way. Please go and visit this establishment. The location (on the waterway), the food, the employees, and the atmosphere are just great! Cant say enough good things about them. :) Rachael Beach Your review will be posted publicly on the web. I have never had anything less than an excellent experience at Mission BBQ. Not only do they have the best barbecue in Maryland, they also have the best service. I was given the moist (fatty) brisket instead of the lean, and a dry piece of corn bread. The manager responded with a full pound of lean brisket, and a box of 8 pieces of the fluffiest corn bread Ive ever had! The manager Ben and his team run a truly wonderful restaraunt. Its clean, efficient, and if you come often enough, everyone will call you by your name. Mission Barbecue in the Annapolis Parole plaza is by far the best restaraunt in the city. Its the best Texas Brisket on the east coast! 10/10

In town from GA my wife and my 10 year anniversary - went to this restaurant because of all of the other raving reviews and, after having eaten there, I would have to agree that they are spot on. This is now one of my favorite restaurants! From the friendly staff and awesome atmosphere to the delicious food - everything was on point. I personally got the brisket with mac and cheese and coleslaw. Mightve been the best BBQ and mac and cheese that Ive had in my life - coleslaw was no slouch either! Way to go guys - keep up the good work and PLEASE open one of these restaurants in Georgia :-)

Ive found Mission BBQ to be consistent from visit to visit and from the three locations Ive tried, this one being no different. Good, juicy, flavorful meats, great sides and amazing lemonade. If you are not familiar with this area, you will have a hard time pulling into this small small shopping center located next to the Annapolis Town Center at Parole. So, make sure to pay closer attention to Google maps, the directions are correct, but with lots of road intersecting, you can easily pass the entrance. The good news is, they are opening a second Annapolis location at the harbor.

I had the brisket and the smoked turkey. They were outstanding. The 6 sauces were all great, but I liked the old Bay sauce the most. Really cool atmosphere. The Mac and cheese was maybe the best Ive ever had and the cobbler was exceptional. But the best part about this place is the staff. The employees are friendly and responsive and the owner is excellent business man. He certainly knows how to run a great operation and is very welcoming to new customers. I have Mission Bbq closer to my house, but I prefer coming to this one.

I had an excellent experience at this location. My wife had delivered our second child earlier in the day and I stopped through to pick up a meal. The staff was efficient and personable. They asked what brought me out there and when I mentioned my wife had jusy delievered they added to the order and congratulated me. I am not one to do reviews, but had to because the staff made this experience exceptional! Thank you Mission BBQ for making this great day better!

This is my absolute favorite restaurant. Pete, the manager at the Annapolis restaurant is AWESOME. He is very personable, friendly and just an all around great person. I think I have had just about everything on the menu. I love the moist brisket, yard bird, baby back ribs, turkey, pulled pork and chicken, kickin collards, salad, Mac and cheese... Do I need to go on? I go so often, that they know me by name. I highly recommend it to anyone.

What an amazing experience! Before I walked in the door, the advertisement for the 9/11 cup caught my eye. Once inside, the walls were covered with patches from local fire, EMS and law enforcement agencies, as well as memorabilia from military agencies. There are also pictures of hometown heroes and those lost to war. If you find yourself there at high noon, expect to stand up and salute America, as they play the National Anthem every day.

Customer service is amazing here, as it is at most mission BBQs. They accidentally gave me the more fatty brisket instead of lean, and I told them it wasnt a big deal and I would eat it. Even after that they went out of there way to give me a whole extra portion of the lean brisket and came back later with strawberry shortcake and a brownie! Way above and beyond what I thought was necessary. Love this place!
