Ok so I am one of those people who has never frequented parkers only because I never had cash and became a regular after the new upgrade to moderate technology... I was so excited to see parkers #3 being built less then 1min from my house until I went there & Mrs thing taking orders gave me an ugly look all because I asked for my tea which she repeated back to me when she took my order.. I love parkers always have been satisfied with my food but its something about poor customer service that makes things just not taste the same well all my excitement for parkers #3 has been threw out the window despite me waiting so patiently for your opening I doubt I will return goes to show good food doesnt trump good ol fashioned manners. Parkers bbq be careful who you out on front line as a representation of your company sure Im just one person but you never know how many ME s will not return because miss thing using her Dookie wiping face on your customer! Great success with your future envedors.

Im a Wilson native and have been hear too many times to count. The food tastes the same and as good now as it was 30 years ago. The chopped barbecue is as good as you will find anywhere. The slaw is the best youll find. The fried chicken is the best fried chicken on the planet (really it is). The barbecue potatoes are the ultimate and Ive not found them at any of the hundreds of other barbecue joints Ive tried. The sweet tea is the best Ive ever had other than my grandmothers. Parkers is a legend and if you check it out youll see why.

I loved everything ive eaten here.. allthough i wont get into a bickering match over who in eastern NC has the best BBQ. I like their BBQ but its not the "Best". However, their BBQ chicken is second too none , as is most of their side dishes. The people are nice, but usually swamped with business.

I loved the fried liver. The barbecue chicken was good, but the thigh had too much fat on it. The french fries were hot, but didnt taste freshly prepared. The staff is very hospitable and helpful. The establishment is NOT cash only. They accept VISA, MasterCard and Discover.

Good food. Excellent atmosphere. Friendly staff. Best one is close to hasting Fords. We eat at all of three and Joan has the best. It seems all rd leads back to this Parker. We call this one home. Wish there was one in little Washington.

I had a barbecue sandwich the barbecue and the slaw was delicious. It would have tasted a lot better if the bun had been even slightly warm. French fries were okay,nc I little limp on the cool side, but everything else was great.

Overall good food but is a little overpriced to be a chicken restaurant. More than $7 for a basic fried chicken plate is too steep. Period.

Fries was soggy and under cooked, couldnt eat slaw, BBQ pork was OK kinda bland, first time here. Wasnt worth it to me. Not again.
