My husband and I went in for happy hour at 4:30 on Friday and spent an hour here. It wasnt terribly busy, about 5-2 tops in the bar area and a few people at the bar (where happy hour is exclusively) yet we seemed to have some poor service. There were 2 servers I could see managing this area and while we were greeted pretty quickly for drink orders we had to watch our server roll silverware instead of getting our food order... Its happy hour, it doesnt take any time St all to pick out food and drinks... She didnt stop to check on us once after we received our food and the OTHER server asked if I wanted a second glass of wine. She must have been having an off day because she was sick; we and anyone else sitting at the right end of the bar could hear her blowing her nose in back. Gross. I understand its a difficult situation being a server and sick because if you dont work you dont get paid but youre handling food. It would have been nice nice to see her wiping her hands as if she had just put sanitizer on them when re-entering the bar, but unfortunately she wasnt. She did talk with her other tables so I wonder if we got sub-par service being a younger couple? (like because were Young we dont tip on the full pre-happy hour amount which isnt true from us) but she fulfilled this herself. The food was ok, the shrimp beignets were AMAZING!! The ahi tuna was lack-luster. Razor thing pieces of fish and the sauce was used more as a plate decorate than anything haha. Overall, I would stop back for happy hour, and hopefully have a better review to share, but it wouldnt be top of happy hour list.

This was a poor experience overall. We were told it would be a 30 minute wait to sit outside. In reality it was over 45 minutes, which wasnt a huge deal as we had a nice drink at the bar. We had noticed that a table outside had sat vacant for at least 15 minutes. When we were shown to our table that was actually our table. In the mean time a much better table had become available and the hostess suggested that we move to that table but to have the server coordinate it as it had to be cleaned. We wanted to move right away but our server INSISTED that we wait till it was cleaned. They had literally just finished when the hostess came and sat someone else there. The worse part was the staffs reaction...our server just stared and didnt know what to do and when we told the hostess she just shrugged and walked off. Our server just said "oh sorry," then walked off aimlessly and we NEVER saw him again, so after awhile we got up and left. I spoke with the manager while the hostess gave me death stares- shes a class act!! Super lazy and untrained staff- Ive seen better teams at McDonalds! Its not a super high end restaurant, but its expensive enough that the staff should be trained!!

6/21/17: So I have eaten at the Chart House several times since December. I have a rewards card. I decided to surprise my father for a lovely prime rib dinner for a belated birthday / Fathers Day gift with his daughter tonight. I had to remind our waiter about our drink order and my father couldnt even cut through his prime rib. One would think, his replacement meal would be complimentary, but no, I paid full price! So, I took home the piece of prime rib and my cat ate the can of fancy feast over the meat! I wish you could see the pic I took! Update as of 7/4/17: the general manager Eric called and spoke to me and said he wanted to make things right and he would be sending me something in the mail. Its been 14 days and I have received nothing. What a disappointment if you cant even trust and believe in the management team.

We brought our daughter and a friend here for her 14th birthday tonight. I made a reservation and told them it was her 14th birthday and would love a seat with a view. Although they cannot always accomodate those request we were very lucky to get a wonderful window table. As we sat down the hostess waited for my daughter to sit because they said she had a "special menu". When she looked at the top it read..... CHART HOUSE WISHES YOU A VERY HAPPY 14TH BIRTHDAY!! She was so excited. After that, everything was excellent! The service was top notch! The gentleman who took care of our table was very nice and attentive. The manager stopped by and checked on us and was very sweet. The food WAS DELICIOUS!! The best was the lava cake at the end! We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Chart House and will be back again!

Great Location. Not really what I expected for such a nice restaurant. A bit pricey for the type of food that you get. The fish was ok. Spent most of the time waiting from the time we got in the door to receiving the bill. Took about ten minutes to talk to the hostess as she was on the phone and no one was there to help. When we got to our table and ordered drinks, waited about 15-20 minutes for our cocktails. Then they mixed up my order and I didnt receive my Caesar salad. At the end the waitress charged my credit card for my meal and friends bill but corrected it. They were very apologetic to us for everything, but I guess I just expected more. 7-1-11 Went to look at my credit card bill and they still charged me, it took several weeks to correct it.

Ok. I am sorry but this restaurant doesnt even serve fries. They may think they are better than a Jeff Rubys or Waltz... but they arent. They also dont have a side of Mac and Cheese and/or Mashed Potatoes.. Another big red flag would be I am still considered a child (not 18 an adult yet) and they refused to let me order off the kids menu. I offered to pay double the price for me to be able to eat what I liked. I am furious at the fact that they declined that offer and couldnt PLEASE the customer. Especially since I leave good tips always and I am a teenager being able to pay for CHART HOUSE they couldnt just give me what I wanted. Outrageous.

Chart House did not meet our groups expectation on several issues. We were seated 15 min before the waiter took our order. We were served 45-50 minutes later. Some in our group thought their food had been sitting in the window for awhile. The waiter forgot to bring bread to the table. Portion sizes were smaller than we were expecting for the price paid. It was a disappointing visit and seeing how it was our first time there, it will likely be our last.

We had a corporate party so obviously they limited our selection. The chopped up salad was quite good. I had a basil chicken with rice which was nothing special. The really weird part was for dessert they brought chocolate lava cake but we were forced to share it among coworkers. How awkward is that? Very weird. And frankly, it wasnt that tasty because it was a little hard and did not have much lava. I am not interested in going back.
