After driving around for a couple of hours trying to find some place with less than 1 1/2 hour wait on a Saturday night, my wife and I came across this place. There was next to no one in the parking lot, which worried us. Our fears were put to rest when we took our first bites. After that, I vowed that our next out-of-the-country vacation had to be Peru. One Peruvian reviewer said the food wasnt good; so, if real Peruvian food is even better than this, Im not sure my gullet could handle it. The food was fantastic. Even my wifes fried rice was something to talk about. I cant wait to go back. And as for the service, our sweet, smiling Peruvian waitress was a peach. We tipped her well, because she earned it. I know you cant please everyone, but we were extremely pleased.

As a gringo, I suspect a lot of the authenticity is lost on me. This is not the americanized tex-mex. The dishes which say seafood includes octopus, which isnt common in this area. Many of the dishes are topped with an egg, which struck me as odd. That said, the food Ive had here was good, but there a few surprises ordering unfamiliar food. If you want something different but safe, I recommend the Fried crunch pork sandwich. It is crispy fried pork with sweet potato on a soft bun and served with a spicy mustard sauce. Its also huge, I dont know why its found on the kids menu.

Really disappointing. For the price, I would have expected authentic Peruvian dishes with fresh ingredients... Instead we were served bland freezer meats thrown under a meat pounder and into a fryer. I didnt realize chicken fried steak over a bed of French fries and white rice was a Peruvian dish? Poor environment/awkward. On the up side the margaritas were good.. Chicken tenders, chicken fried steak, fries, rice and 2 margaritas = $58.00 Felt ripped off and we are not cheap by any standards.

En Septiembre 05 2016 estuvimos en este lugar, la comida estuvo muy bien pero el servicio fue pésimo la mesera todo el tiempo estuvo muy ruda y no nunca regresó ala mesa para preguntar si necesitamos más bebidas.

I am writing a historical crime novel, and had a horrible case of writers block until recently. Writing a prison scene, and describing the awful food served to the inmates in an 1820s jail, was very difficult for me....until.... I visited Sabo Peru ....I got all the inspiration I needed and a nasty bout of diarrhea on the drive home too (thanks for letting me use your washroom, and sorry about the mess, Shell Gasoline).

I love this place! Especially lomo saltado. Service is slow and could be better but I come for the food, so I have no complaints. Started going when they were a hole in the wall 6 years ago? Now theyve expanded to this nice location. Owner is always nice and courteous. Dont know what Peruvian food is supposed to taste like, but its good food hands down.

Best food ever! the menu is great! and very easy to understand! and the service... was awesome too! we drove 2 hours from columbus just to try this food, and we are going to come back every month! My wife forgot her keys and they were kind enough to send them back via UPS next day delivery. Best Peruvian Restaurant Ever!!

Every time Im in Cinci I come and eat here, one of the best Peruvian restaurants Ive been too in all my travels. Great Peruvian home cooking and awesome service. Its a little pricey but expected her in Cinci. The papa a la huancaina and arroz chaufa are my favorite dishes. Cant wait to go back in another week.

I visited with a large group (12 people) and we were seated quickly. We ordered and had our food all within about 20-30 minutes of arriving. Food was served hot and was quite good. Atmosphere is so/so, but I think this is mostly because of the enormous space they have on the inside of the restaurant.

Authentic and tasty peruvian cuisine. A place to eat with the whole family, no reservations needed because it is a huge restaurant and the food is fresh. The prices are good for ALL you get, big portions and the servers are very polite. Thank you Sabor Peruano!

The food is excellent and the portions are suburb huge. We were in a party of 9 and shared many different dishes and appetizers. All were delicious. For what you get, the dishes are very inexpensive. I would recommend Sabor to anyone.

Wonderful staff, very friendly. Told the bartender what type of whiskey I like to drink and he put an order in for the next time I visit. The food was authentic. If youre looking for a real Peruvian restaurant this is the place to go

The food portion is huge for a fair price. The taste is not too bad either. Personally, i like the old place better, the old environment has more decoration to it, but no complaints, the food quality is still there.

Best Ceviche Ive found in Cinti, and thats just one small part of the huge menu. Its in a very large place tricked out for crowds and has a stage and ample space for dancing. English is spoken as well as Spanish.

My family and I always loved the food at Sabor Peruano. Fresh and hot every time. Full of flavor.....and the green sauce. We are so sorry to hear about the fire today. We hope that one day you will be back.

Drove pretty far out of my way to have dinner here and the place was closed at 6:45 on a Wednesday. Looks more like a event center than a restaurant, but not sure if its open anymore.

Great food, its worth traveling from Dayton to Cincinnati to this special place. Weekends are busy and the service is delayed. Dont miss the "bistec a lo pobre" or the Chaufa.

Food is great. A little adventurous for this area! Give it a try, it wont disappoint! Fish is to die for, but it comes to the table whole so be prepared...

Poor attention, the "lomo saltado" lousy, they did a little more with ground beef and rice seemed saved, to something else mariposa.
