I come here all the time. I will say that over time, the prices have increased, the food portions have become smaller, and the quality a little worse. They give half as much naan as they used to give, and the last time it was so tough it was difficult to chew through. The rice is no longer overflowing and the potato curry side dish came with one potato last time I got it. I suspect part of this is because he used to cook the curries from scratch (I only say this because I once waited close to an hour for a curry that ultimately ended up not being the curry I even ordered - but I left with it anyways because a whole hour!!)? That no longer happens, probably because of better planned pre-cooking (I saw him ladle potato curry from a vat he keeps). Despite all this, it is still a favorite of mine because it is convenient Indian food located within a reasonable distance of the college living area. I always get the chicken korma, which hints at a sweet and savory chicken perfectly mixed with basmati rice. Would recommend coming here to quench that Indian food craving - though dont expect too much quality. Low expectations may lead to higher satisfaction after all.

Always fast, always delicious. Paneer makhani is my favorite! The lunch special is a great deal because the portion is nearly large enough for 2 whole meals, depending on how hungry you are. I also really appreciated being able to walk here in the March blizzard to get dinner while Chipotle and Moes already closed. Its so dependable!

Extremely disrespectful! And I got overcharged, a lunch special ($8.99) and a coke added up to $15. When I asked to see the receipt, the older gentleman on the counter informed me that it was the correct price and refused to show me the receipt. The food is ok but I would never recommend for the service. Save yourself the stress!

My favorite Indian Restaurant in Rochester. Ive been to this location for takeout and their main location for dinner and its been delicious every single time. I recommend the chicken tikka masala. The portions are very generous and Im glad we have at least one good Indian restaurant in Rochester.

Well made food, everything was perfectly cooked and delicious, the portions are a nice size, and down to earth ambiance! The specials are terrific, and the staff are friendly. Like a chill diner, but Indian style, with a couple little grocery shelves with makings you can buy for home.

The food here isnt that great. Probably the worst chicken tikka kebab Ive ever had. Ive never heard of someone frying it in oil... It was very bland and barely looked like a kebab. Xacuti wasnt that great either. I really hope they fix their kebabs.

The food here is terrible, the chicken tastes like rubber. I ordered a spicy chicken Tikka but received a sweet chicken makhani sauce instead. The food here is definitely not fresh. Stay away, you have been warned.
