We have come to this Cracker Barrel many times over the years, and sad to say, we wont be back anytime soon. We went on a Monday night and although the restaurant was 3/4 empty, it was quite a while before we were acknowledged after being sat. When we were, we had only our drink order taken without asking if we were ready to order (we were). Then ten minutes later another server came to get our order. She couldnt be asked, her attitude was not helpful and she wasnt able to do her job. Once it finally arrived (we waited over 30 min), the food was a complete disappointment. The sweet tea wasnt sweet, and had to be sent back, catfish over cooked, breakfast meats overcooked, biscuits overcooked and food luke warm at best. Very unfortunate this Cracker Barrel went downhill. I hope they have new management and cooks soon.

We were seated immediately, but that was the best part of the meal. We ordered our drinks and our waitress brought them out and stood behind the child at the table then precedded to hand drinks over her head . The kicker was when she went to pour coffee in a mug she put infront if the 2 yr old child. I grabbed the mug and moved it to the person that ordered the coffee otherwise she would have. The food came out in a timely matter but was not hot, lukewarm at best. The biscut french toast was missing the "frenchtoast" part, basically a biscuit with blackberry jam on top. The waitress never came back to top off drinks, just to bring the bill. Very disappointed!

Cooking at home isnt a luxury I have at the moment, so anytime I am in the mood for home-cooking Cracker Barrel is the always-right answer for me and my family! Between the store staff welcoming you when we waltz through the door, to the hearty plates and the great prices...the Barrel is booming and shouldnt ever let you down. Had one food mishap here within years and the manager was quickly on it and making us feel at home while promptly correcting the issue, on top of checking on the outcome of the problem. I highly recommend!

The one on 38th street was a train wreck! We were seated at a dirty table by the host. A waitress appeared and put her finger up and said "Ill be with you in just a moment". I dont know if she ever came back because while waiting 10 more minutes, wesat and watched a table of six, that was seated after us, get their drink orders taken before ours. Meanwhile, were flagging the host down to wipe our table off again. It was time to go!!

Its a Cracker Barrel franchise, not much to say or review, pretty much the same regardless of which one you go to, which is what corporate wants, consistency at every site. With that being said, thats part of what we like about it and why we keep coming back wherever we travel, consistently good food everywhere weve visited.

Excellent example of a fine Cracker Barrel restaurant. Was a favorite growing up and still is a family tradition. This is by far the best restaurant in the chain that I have visited. Friendly and professional staff, hot and delicious food, short wait, all in all a great breakfast and highly recommended

Exceptionally good comfort food in a rustic setting with a convenient location. Frequently very busy on weekends and evenings, with limited parking during those times and long waits. Visit outside those times and your in for a wonderful food experience.

Great home-cooked style food and old school type atmosphere. Old Country store shop inside with lots of different products to view and purchase while waiting. Friendly service and tasty food. Prices are above average, but food is worthy of the price.

Our waitress was terrific and made it a very pleasurable dining experience. I would leave 5 stars but my pancakes were disappointing because they were over cooked:( Ironically, my fiances opinion was that the pancakes tasted better that way, lol.

I went there about two months ago. The service was very good and the food was delicious. I received amazing customer service in the shop while trying to get the perfect gift for my mom on her birthday. They were extremely helpful.

We met family at the location in Plainfield, IN for a birthday breakfast. Our server, Donna, made our day. She was friendly, funny and always had a coffee pot for refills! Good food and great service made it easier to get old.

Service was a little slow, but the dining experience was enjoyable, as always. Its also fun to walk around the store before and after eating, and spending money on things you didnt know you needed until you saw it there.

The food tasted so good! I had the apple cinnamon oatmeal with the pumpkin spice muffin. I highly recommend it. I have gone here hundreds of times and have never had bad food.
