We decided to use the curb service at this Out Back after being on the road for six hours. Our family loves Out Back food and we wanted a quick, easy dinner when we got home. We were disappointed by using this stores curb service. The parking lot is small and all of the curb spots were taken. This wasnt a big deal - we just waited a few minutes for a spot to clear. We got there at the time we were told the order would be ready. After sitting in the car for about 10 minutes I went inside to get a status on the order. The people were nice, but the order wasnt ready so I went back to the car. 20 minutes after that (30 minutes after the order was supposed to be ready) I went back in to check the status again. Still not ready, but one of the guys went back to the kitchen to check on it. He was back there for another 5 minutes before finally coming out with my order. All in all, the order was 35 minutes later than expected and I had to keep going in to check on the status. It would have been great if they would have come to us and let us know what was going on. Once we got home I was disappointed with the food. I had ordered the Victoria Fillet cooked medium. I got the fillet, but it was over cooked, dry and tasteless. My baked potato was ok, but it wasnt worth the ~$30 I paid for my dinner. We were also missing a dipping sauce for one order and an apple juice for another order. Everyone else said their food was ok, but Im the one writing the review, thus the 2 stars. I really like Out Back food, but I dont like the curb service at the La Plata location.

This is my personal opinion that this business has earned through my interaction or transaction. I hate giving 5 stars. After several attempts at closer Outback locations we ventured to this one and it deserves it. In short. Great service, great food, and miniscule waiting. In long. First thing i check at these restaraunts is the water station. Last location had dirty glasses mixed with clean. Not this place, no water spots or lipstick. We were sat down right away. Our waitress (Sydney, outstanding) ensured we had our drinks and bread promptly. We brought our toddler so speed of service is important. My wife got salmon that was good. I got a steak that was delicious and tender. Our boy got chicken he destroyed. The blooming onion was perfectly cooked. This is the first time I have seen an entire onion that was 100% edible. We had two additional managers or team members check on us which is nice that they at least give the opportunity to address someone besides the waitress. All in all it was a great dinner and we will be driving past the other outback to return to this one.

Hit or Miss. I love outback but sometimes its a hit or miss here. Curbside pickup can be a nightmare so make sure you check your order, dont be scared to tell them they forgot something because Lord knows they will. With dinning in, the servers are usually friendly so I am happy with that. They have forgotten bacon on a double bacon, or brought the wrong dressing, or forgot to bring a booster but thats no biggie. What worries me, is when they forget my bacon! Yesterday I ordered steak house salad and it literally had 4 small pieces of steak with 2 full heads of lettuce:/ Maybe God was telling me to give up meat for whatever reason but that kinda sucked. The drinks are yummy so thats why i gave them a 4. Its not a bad spot and if someone does forget your bacon just ask your server, like I said so far we havent had one that has sucked too bad. They try, and thats all that matters.

One star is far more than they deserve. My boyfriend and I went there for dinner last night and waited half an hour to be seated. Mind you, no one was even in the restaurant. Three servers walked by without a word.. Finally seated, the table was sticky and had food crumbs all over it. Let the waitress know and she just wiped it onto the floor. When our food and drinks arrived the plates and cups were discussing. My cup had something floating around in it and my boyfriends cup and red lipstick prints!! The silverware had food crusted onto it and the plates had the same. Honestly the worst service of my life. And the cleanliness of the place was horrendous!!! Terrible service, food, and cleanliness. I would have rather had date night at McDonalds to be completely honest!!!

My wife and I stopped by today and ordered the house salad, outbacker burger, and baked potato soup. Georgie was an EXCELLENT waitress, very attentive and quick to return to the table to check on us! There was an issue with a hair in the salad, and the burger was undercooked. However, Alex the manager was very apologetic and quickly worked to replace the salad and the burger. Ive never hadone better service anywhere. I understand that there will occasionally be issues with food preparation, but the real test of a business is the way service is handled when dealing with those problems. A+ and hats off to Georgie and Alex!

The new menu does not have old favorites like lamb or lobster. Staff was very friendly but food was not very good for the price you pay! The filet was very chewy, not tender at all, the boomin onion was small and over cooked, the Shrimp on the barbie was not fully cooked, and the Loaded baked potato had very little toppings. Would not recommend going to the Laplata outback location. The only thing on the new menu that I enjoyed was the creamed spinach.

Well it was always one of our go to places, but lately the "kitchen" has really dropped the ball. Food rarely comes out warm, if your lucky. Our last visit, not only once, but twice our macaroni bites came out still frozen in the center. Wait staff and front of the house Mgt are awesome, but the kitchen and its staff need help and lots of it.

This location is great. The food I had today was great regardless it being Fathers day. I gave my waiter slack because of how busy it was but he could have used slightly better management for all his tables. Overall it is a great place. A little bit premium prices compared to other places. But worth the taste to price.

Specifically LA Plata Outback. Please get your dish washer fixed. Plates and silverware were dirty. Sent back the plates, put aside the Dirty silverware. Service as ok and the food is as expected. The floor under the table was sticky so I didnt put my feet down.

The managers have always come around and greeted each guest on a regular basis. This makes the atmosphere meld with the town spirit. Food is good and quick. Keep an eye on the time of day, as most outbackers know, timing makes everything.

I worked there for two months and had to quit along with everyone else. Poor management, extremely low pay, dirty dishes and silverware, really overpriced. Texas Roadhouse is so much better tasting and is way cheaper.

tried several times here and there. each time the service is poor and the kitchen is slower than cold molasses. I dont think we will ever go back. food is priced high and nothing memorable
