My hubby and I go here frequently for Sunday brekkie. I always get Mommas Pancake Breakfast.....so ooooh good. Usually the service is 1st rate too! Not this Sunday. Our server was rude when my hubby let her know that his OJ had an unusual amount of pulp in it, like it was the last of it and no one bothered to stir it up or something. I mean it was really thick with pulp, not the OJ he typically gets there. She totally ignored his complaint and said " its all pulpy". Well, my hubby is not one who even likes to complain in the first place, so he didnt say anything further. He would not let me do it either!! So, while we are waiting for our food here comes our server with a broom in one hand and a dustpan in the other and she begins to move chairs and sweep the floor all around several tables in our area. My husband was aghast, as was I, and he said that he wasnt sure he now wanted her to be handling any of our food. I agreed and got up and went straight over to a manager. When I did so, our server went to our table with my hubby sitting there and pulled my chair out and swept the floor under our table.....the manager saw this happen as I was standing next to him. I commented that I was so surprised to see a person whose job is to serve food handling a broom and a dustpan. Remarkably, his comment to me was he was sure that she would wash her hands!! I replied that I was not going to depend on that and we would prefer that someone else deliver our food. He said that he would do it personally, and I was fine with that. He did deliver our food, which was fine even though it looked as though he hadnt served food in a while. At some point while we were still eating someone must have told our server that I had complained because she strode by our table and gave me a couple of hard looks. This made me a little uncomfortable to say the least, and I inwardly hoped my hubby did not notice. Well, we werent going to get out that easily. As we were about to leave she came by our table with a pile of dishes on her tray and started to say that she was sorry about....well right then she nearly dropped the whole tray right in my hubbys lap!! Luckily, only some forks and knives went flying. Needless to say, at that point we were outta there. I dont believe it was helpful that our server knew we had complained before we left. Or maybe, specifically that it was us at all. Poor management of the situation anyway!!! Pretty stressful for Sunday brekkie!!! I would hate to think that servers are routinely responsible for cleaning anything while they are in fact serving food, yuck!

Unfortunately our visit on Fathers Day was not as good as we had hoped. Maybe because it was Fathers Day ... we went around 3 and had no wait which was great! ... but we had no one great us when we were seated. About 10 minutes later, I finally nabbed a server walking by. Mary. She was sweet and apologetic and took our drink order and said she would find server and send him/her over. She ended up bringing our drinks and taking our order too. :) When our server did bring our food, the quality of my husbands meal (the father we were celebrating and cracker barrel was his choice) was disappointing. His scrambled eggs were overcooked and hard, and cold. He ordered a side of steak fries and was disappointed to get skinny fries ... but maybe CB no longer serves thick steak fries. Not sure. But he also had to wait on more syrup so his pancakes. The servers were nice. Especially Mary. But the food was disappointing. My order was slightly wrong, but Im not too picky ;) Hoping next time is better.

My wife and I have a great experience every time we visit this (or any) Cracker Barrel! Others must feel the same, because we often cant find an open parking place at this one near my home. Tonight, we got lucky. We parked easily, were seated immediately, greated promptly by a VERY good server, and proceded to enjoyed another delicious meal. I am writing this not only to commend Cracker Barrel in general for being such a well-run estasblishment, but to praise our waiter, Ben. This guy was as friendly, polite, witty, efficient and accurate as anyone Ive ever been served by! If the poorly-run place next door would only leave and give CB room to expand, I would visit much more often. Thank you for doing it right, folks!

I love this restaurant..My family and I eat here at least once every week. The food is awesome and its the perfect environment to sit down and enjoy some "Soul Food". I highly recommend the vegtable plate, (Which is a choice of 4 sides) I always get: Mac n Cheese, Mashed Potatoes w/ brown gravy, Cole Slaw, Turnip Greens and a Sweet Tea.....SO DELICIOUS!! They have the best sweet tea you have ever tasted!!! We have been there SO much, we dont even call it "Cracker Barrel" anymore...just "CB" (Short for Cracker Barrel.) What started out as normal pregnancy cravings in 2005, has turned in to a full blown "CB" addiction!!! I LOVE THIS PLACE!!

Hate to leave only 1 star but have to. Let me say that in the end the food was good and the servers were great. The one star is for Dwayne the manager. I ordered the chicken campfire deal that was their big promotion at the time and it came out with absolutely no seasoning. This happened twice with the manager Dwayne being the one who brought both of my replacement meals. No apology was given. D-wayne was a major D-bag. I did notice a server by the name of Todd who was very friendly and polite to all of the customers not just his own. I think Todd would make a wonderful replacement for Dwayne. Todd for Manager 2016! My vote my voice!

Terrible customer service! Went in this morning and ordered breakfast. While we were waiting other people who came in and ordered AFTER us got their orders. Waitress never came back to see how we were doing or asked if I needed a refill on coffee. After a different waitress dropped off an order to another table where the person arrived and ordered after us I decided we should leave. Will be complaining to corporate office.

Me & my boyfriend were very pleased with the exceptional service that we recieved when stopping by for a late dinner. Linda, our waitress was extremely nice & attentive. She provided wonderful service & was just a very sweet and caring lady. I dont recall the name of our cashier, but she also provided us with excellent customer service. The food was wonderful & the staff was very pleasant. We will definitely be back

I absolutely love the restaurant and the old world charm that the ambience has. I am here visiting for a few days from Houston. The staff is extremely friendly and the food is really good. I have eaten in a couple of their branches in Alabama, Houston, Talahassee and now here in Indianapolis and found the food quality to be consistent and never disappoints. No wonder this is my favourite restaurant to eat in!!
